After being transported, I found myself on a mountain. From here I could see quite far. There were two cities that I could see. One to the left side of the mountain one to right. Of course, I didn't know which one was north or south. How do people know that anyway even if it's midday or night?

Like right now, it was the middle of the day, though this much heat was more pleasant to me than anything. Now then let's see if I have any skill or whatever.

But there was no button, nothing where I could find a flooring screen. Nothing in the corner of my eye.

Maybe that goddess lied to me and send me here. Nah at least my bro the God of Destruction isn't like that. Maybe if I focus in mind it'd appear.

It did... Well in my mind.

It was like inside my mind and not in front of my eyes, it felt pretty weird.

There was an option for Status which I clicked inside my mind.

That was it, so this world recognized me as Chess Master even though I was pretty much a beginner, also there's probably Chess in this world. Don't know about Schooler though.

However, when I focused on it I found out I can focus on things to know more about them.

Let's start with Titles

[Otherworlder]: a title given to people who are not from this world. Gives the holder Language Comprehension and Immunity to Mana Poisoning.

[World Traveler]: a title given to those who travel between worlds. Gives the holder Experience Multiplier and Inventory.

[Friend of Bratus]: a title given to those who have befriended the God of Destruction. Gives the holder Always Fit, Enhanced Physical Strength (Extreme), and Complete Immunity to Status Effects.

[Blessed by Vinatee]: a title given to those who have been blessed by the goddess Vinatee. Gives the holder Gate and Teleport.

The skills given by Titles were not listed in skills until I activated the titles. All of them are Extra Skills. All skills had long descriptions but let me keep it short.

Language Comprehension is just to understanding languages, Immunity to Mana Poisoning is just what it says, though I don't know what Mana Poisoning is anyway. Experience Multiplier is just a 10x multiplier of the experience I get. Inventory is a storage skill that I can use anytime. In this storage time flowed slowly. 1 year in real world seem to be only one minute in storage space. However, there isn't any limit written in descriptions of how big it is and stuff. Always Fit is the reason I'm suddenly taller, for some reason it thinks being taller is fit. Also now no matter how much I eat I'll stay fit, maybe Bratus also has this skill that's why he was eating junk with me for 3 days. Enhanced Physical Strength (Extreme) and Complete Immunity to Status Effects are both self-explanatory.

Gate lets me open gates anywhere I've been to... In this world. Teleport is just short-range teleportation. Chess Master was the skill that increased my thinking power and gave me other boosts like calculation boast, planning boasts, etc. Schooler was my favorite skill, it was a skill that will help me get more skills. It boasted my chance to acquire a new skill.

Now then I need to find out how to enter these cities. After all, I didn't even know their names and would probably look like some stranger. So I thought maybe just maybe the goddess who didn't let me say goodbye to my best friend had left something for me in the inventory.

I tried the inventory skill, and it was pretty easy, as soon as I opened it I knew it has something in it. It turned out to be a gold coin. I suppose I can bribe the guards then.

Turns out that if you see a city from a mountain and it looks close by, it's not. It was already midnight... Or at least that's what it seemed to me. I was so relieved when I so the road? Or well whatever you can call it. I'll just call it road even if it's more like a trail.

I had found no monster but lot's of animals. Even a bear, but the bear died when I throw a rock at it with all the force I could muster.

And then I found a road sign which kinda explained why there were no monsters here. I could read it due to the Language Comprehension skill and it said that this forest was of the great lake dragon and it lives in the lake. However, it can come out anytime and no one should enter it. Also, it said because of the roars of Lake Dragon, no monster can be found in the forest.

Of course, I started running towards the city. And for some reason, I was able to run a lot more than I used to be able to. I reached the city gates just around sunrise, which was opposite the mountain.

So the cliff was now to my west and further west was a city I didn't go to.

At the gates, there was no line or anything, I just walked up to it and was about to enter when the guard's stopped me and asked me for an ID. So of course I tried to bribe them by handing them the gold coin.

"Oh, seems like your ID expired, come with me I'll renew it. 2 Silver of tax and 1 silver for the new ID, here's your 97 Silver back" he handed me a small cloth bag and went on to this small building. I followed him. Turns out I got an ID now.

It said

That's it, also I didn't tell him any of these, he got me to put my hand on a tablet that showed this information on which he made the ID.

It looked like a good system.

Now then, I had found out that the name of the city is Lough.

I thought It'd be a lot more dirty and smelly, after all, it was a sword and magic historical era type World. But it looked clean, everything was clean and the air was so fresh. The only smells I was getting were of food. Since I had some money I went ahead and bought myself a bun and some kind of soup. I didn't know what it was but it smelled good.

Though it was quite bland, for me who has not eaten anything since yesterday it was still pretty good.

The next thing would be trying to find an inn. So I asked the shopkeeper who I had just bought the breakfast from.

"An inn you say, well my friend works at one, it's just a hundred meters that way. A pretty good one for just a couple of silvers"

I headed the way he suggested, oh also the money here was something like.

1 Silver 10 Bronze 1 Gold 100 Silver 1 White Gold 1000 Gold

There was probably higher currency too but that's all I had found out.

The breakfast I got was 2 Bronze coins.

I didn't have much interest in economics but after asking prices for a few things I found out the currency was unstable and trying to find an equivalent like 1 bronze is 20₹ or something was useless. As things simply had different values here. Like a cup of tea here was 12 Silver while in my world it'd be even at the best restaurant only about 400₹ and if you want cheap just for 10 ₹. Here the starting price was so much.

Thus I stopped trying to find economic equality between this and my previous World.

I found the inn, no one was at the counter though so I waited for a few minutes.

"Oh, did I keep you waiting dear" a middle-aged lady came through the front door carrying vegetables. "I'm Milia, the owner of this little inn." She sounded like a friendly auntie. I got myself a room and slept like a log of wood till well past noon.

Now that I've come to this world I need to find a job. And I know where I can do that, the adventures guild.

So of course I found the guild and reached there, it was pretty far from the inn, but I was able to reach it before sunset.

It looked quite busy, when I entered there was not a counter where there was not a line. I asked a guy who looked my age there

"Which counter is for registration?"

"Oh, you wanna register? You can do it at any counter but I'll suggest you do not do it right now. They're so busy in the morning and evening hours that they'll probably get angry at you if you tried right now."

"Oh, I suppose I'll come late in the morning tomorrow then."

"You look like a decent guy with a good physique, why don't you join our party, we're also at H rank, where you'll start when you register tomorrow. I only registered a month ago as well."

I didn't know why he thought me a decent guy, maybe he was just desperate to find anyone for a party. But I thought we should at least first introduce ourselves.

"I'll think about it tomorrow then, by the way, I'm Ishant"

"Raily, you're not from around here huh, probably from the South"

So apparently he was she and she thought I was from the South so I just went with it.

After a little chat with Raily, I went back to the inn. What a fool I was, thinking such a cute girl was actually a guy. I failed as a guy today. Anyway, I'll definitely join a part with her.
