《Journey to Another World.... because of my Neighbour》Chapter 15: A Party

As I started walking towards the Magic Guild I remembered, I didn't get my Adventures Guild Rank upgrade. So I went back.
Flora was at the gate of her office.
"You forgot the rank upgrade."
"Yes"
"Come in"
{Job(Adventure) rank upgraded: Adventure (Rank-F) acquired}
Another Skill that I got was Quest Record which lets me record how I did the quest. Didn't seem useful to me.
The receptionist seemed pretty suspicious of us though. I didn't really care about it so I just left.
At Magic Guild I found Tulip.
"Hi, please be my master." She pled.
"Why?"
"Because according to my Grandma, you're the best Mage in the whole Kingdom. Your records were so amazing that she's still trying to understand what you've translated. And your research was also amazing. "
"How does it work anyway?"
"Oh yeah, Grandma said to tell you about it. See as your Apprentice I'll be getting 40% of your experience and you'll get 20% of my experience. Don't worry the experience we get from each other isn't deducted from one another but given directly. Also, I'll be bound as a Magician to you. Thus while I'll only get your experience till I'm your Apprentice however you'll be getting 20% of mine as long as both of us are affiliated with Magic Guild. Other than this you can teach me Skills and Spells. And for taking an apprentice you'll be getting income from the guild as well. As an E-Ranked member, you'll get 1 gold coin per month for every Apprentice. At E-Rank you can take 3 Apprentices."
It sounds interesting. But what I was thinking was does the 10x apply to her as well or would it not. If it does then she'll know my secret so that's also something I need to think about. As I was thinking about it.
"Oh also, Grandma specifically mentioned that as your Apprentice any and all secrets you tell me. I'll be bound to keep them a secret and cannot reveal them without your permission to anyone. Since there are a lot of secrets in magic most Magicians do rely on this aspect. "
Well, that was good, I also needed a party member as well.
"Okay, I'll take you as an apprentice then. However, you'll be keeping a lot of secrets so be prepared."
"Yes master, shall we register it."
Suddenly a girl came running and said
"Oh! He's finally here. Did you talk to him, did you become his apprentice?" She asked Tulip.
While standing close by they looked quite similar.
Both Tulip and the new girl had sky blue hair, and deep blue eyes, and the only difference was in their body type. While Tulip looked frail, the new girl looked healthier and more sturdy.
"Oh, it's done. Master meet my Sister Iris, she's also my vanguard. "
"Your vanguard?"
"Yes master, while some Magician's like you travel alone. Most have a vanguard for them. You'll also at some point surely need one too."
"Probably not, I'm pretty good physically as well."
This time Iris replied "Sure with level up you'll get better strength so you might think you're good. But even at your level, you won't be able to fight an actual vanguard."

I used Appraisal on both girls.
{Name: Tulip
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Level: 12
Class: [Magician]
Job: [Adventurer (Rank-H)] [Magician (Rank-H)]
Skills: [4 Element Basic Skills (Tier II)] [Magic Sense]...[Magic Blood]}
Other than Magic Blood all other skills were stranded ones. The description for Magic Blood said that It increases the Mana pool since the holder can store magic in their blood. And with this, they can still cast magic even if their Mana is at 0 however it'll cost them their blood.
{Name: Iris
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Level: 17
Class: [Swordsman]
Job: [Adventurer (Rank- G)] [Swordsman (Rank -H)]
Skills: [Basic Sword Technique (Tier II)] [Slash and Stab] [Body Strengthening] [Increased Strength (Slight)]...}
Iris didn't have any interesting skills. So I challenge her. Then let's see if you can beat me. I was pretty confident in my strength so I did it. Okay, I just wanted to show off a little.
"Oh really, then let's see. You also have a Sword. I'll accept your duel right now." There was ground just behind the Guild.
After 5 minutes she was kneeling. "Please take me as a discipline master."
Well with my strength and Weapon Mastery (Level 3) it was pretty easy to beat her. But it turned out that after she lost she wanted to be my Discipline.
"But I'm not affiliated with Swordsman Guild, let's talk about it later someday."
Obviously, I postponed it. But she was consistent. "Then please take me in your party."
That actually wasn't a bad idea. You see in the Dungeon if only I had someone to watch over me while I sleep, I'd make everything so easy. But both of them will be quite useful as well. I don't like fighting in front since I enjoy using Magic so Iris will be good for that. And since Tulip is my Apprentice already. It's all quite good.
So we formed a party at the Adventurer Guild. This time I went with all the formalities. After all, I was again forming a party with 2 beautiful girls. It definitely bought back the bad memory. I was the Party Leader and the Party was named Carrying On. Referring to me Carrying on Tulip or maybe even Iris in some way. Though I told them it meant to go forward and they were both happy with the name.
They also bought a room in the same inn. We'll be going to the dungeon tomorrow morning. So we did some shopping for that. The map of the 21-25th floor cost 5 Gold coins. Which was pretty high. But you gotta buy it anyway.
As the Party Leader wherever I've been in the dungeon I can take my party as well. So we directly went to the 20th floor. This time I had come prepared to stay a few days.
{You've Killed (with assistance) a Level 21 Greater Skeleton: 13650Exp( 1365× 10) acquired}
"Oh my goodness, so much experience" Tulip exclaimed.
"That's the secret you were supposed to keep," I said looking at her. So she was getting the 40% of experience that I received after it's already multiplied by 10.
"Don't worry Master, I consider you as my master and take this and any of your secrets to the grave."

"First of all, both of you stop calling me Master, second this secret should not leave your mouths. After all, it'll help you guys too."
"Yes, Master" they both replied. I glared at them.
"Should we call you Mister Ishant?" Tulip asked.
"Just Ishant is fine"
"Okay Ishant"
It took a lot more convincing to stop Iris from calling me, Master. At Level 27 I needed somewhere around 72 thousand Exp points. I had gotten some from completing the Guild task of clearing Dungeon levels so I was now close to leveling up after killing the greater Skeleton.
Thus we went on a killing spree. We had cleared the whole floor without much problem. My Intuition helped in traps and when I was exhausted I had some protection as well as good company. Being alone was also something that ate your mental strength during dungeon exploring. We rested for the night on the 22nd floor. I was already Level 29.
However, a problem arose in the morning.
We ran into Eleric's Harem. For some reason, he was actually here to find me.
"Yes, aren't you that guy who's spending time with my Flora. You dared talk to her for hours. Now face the consequence."
Now I remembered that receptionist. So it was about this. He came running at me with the sword. I blocked it with mine. He was stunned for a moment. After all, as a magician, I shouldn't have enough strength to block his attack. However, his technique was a lot better than mine and he started cutting me. I knew I wouldn't be winning against him fairly so I activated Ready for War which at Tier 3 Increased all my and my party's stats by 20% so currently I had 2714 points in strength and then I used Demon's Eye to inflict confusion status effect on him. It wasn't a powerful one so it should work even after the level difference of more than 10. Next, I used Darkness now blind and confused I knocked him out and ran.
Now I wasn't like the previous me who didn't know how to use his skills so as soon as we got out of their view. I opened up a Gate and got ourselves in the office oh Flora. Luckily Flora had come to Guild early today and we found her. Unluckily there was someone else sitting there as well.
Flora being herself didn't bat an eye as we came out of the Gate.
"Hello, Ishant you've bought guests Today?" She asked as if my suddenly appearing here was a casual appearance.
"Ahh, yeah. I actually wanted to talk to you urgently and thus used this method." I said hesitantly.
"Well, first meet the Guild Master of Magic Guild here in Runburg, Sir Dogaro. Sir Dogara you might have already heard about him. Meet Ishant"
The Guild Master Dogaro also got flustered and politely replied. "It's nice meeting you. Then we shall continue the meeting some other time"
The girls behind me were still in shock from traveling through space.
After Sir Dogaro left, I told Flora about the whole event.
"Hmm, so we've five witnesses that you beat up a Noble. Even that of Duke rank. Don't worry these things happen. As we are in the same boat. Helping out with such small things wouldn't be hard."
She was probably referring to being me Men of Letters.
I used Telepathy
"We are talking about Men of Letters, right?"
"Ohh, Telephonic conversation. This is quite interesting. You usually need a tool for this. But since it's a skill it's more secure as well. But don't depend on it too much. It can also be deciphered and looked into. Also yes I'm talking about men of letters. And since it was my fault as well for not dealing with him. I'd help you out for free. Usually, you've to pay for these kinds of stuff you know."
"Oh, how do you pay actually?"
"With Guild points of course. You won't have it right now but we're working on that now aren't we. "
"Yeah, so do you have any suggestions for me?"
"Nah, just do whatever you want. He can't do much here. And in the Dungeon, you can deal with him. I don't even think he'll admit his defeat either. After all, that'll hurt his pride. At best he'll hire some cheap assassin to attack you. I'll keep an eye on these things and if you happen to be in danger I'll deal with it."
"Well, thank you"
"It's no big deal. Well, how about you introduce your 'friends' here" she sounded jealous, Nah it's probably just my hopeless romantic mind.
"This is Tulip and Iris my party members"
"Ohh, so these are the ones. " She said looking at them.
Both Tulip and Iris shivered. And also came out of their stun.
After explaining to them about the Gate which even Flora was listening to carefully I asked them to keep it a secret.
"There's one thing I don't understand, can you do your thing again?"
I used Telepathy
"This thing?"
"It is the thing, you see I've read a lot of records. Even records of previous Heros and ancient space magic. However, none, and I mean it none of them was able to come out of a dungeon using Space magic. There have been countless tries but never had I read about it being successful. This simply makes you more powerful than those Heros. My guess up till now was that you were an otherwolder and had sage or Hero or some mythical Hidden Class. But even those can't explain to you. How can you keep getting more and more mysterious is beyond me."
She looked at me with a face full of curiosity. But I did not melt and tell any secrets. Except well as a man if you aren't melted by those eyes then it raises some questions.
"Actually it's because of one of my Titles, don't ask me much about it but it lets me ignore a few rules of this world"
"So you ARE an otherwolder. That'll explain a few things."
Damit, why did I say this World. And she can clearly see that what she said is true by my face.
"Don't worry, it's our little secret." And she winked at me. Our whole telepathic conversation just made us seem like weirdos to Tulip and Iris.

Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.

For what greater reason is there to exist if not to be remembered? People are special. People aren’t... Your actions in this life define how those left behind remember you. Once you die, you’re reborn and live on, if only for a time; The grander the actions in this life, the longer your second one becomes. Alon knows this better than anyone, and he will live in the minds and hearts of everyone in Krestelen longer than anyone that has come before. Krestelen is a place long forgotten by those outside its walls; known by most as the Cursed City of The Dead, with the Lower Tier of the City being abandoned by the Upper Tiers after an inexplicable Fog blanketed the entire sector thirty-four years ago. This Fog adds those unfortunate enough to be caught within it into the legions of Vacant roaming the empty streets of the city: A creature that has seemingly lost all reasoning and sanity, to wander around the streets crying into the palms of their hands as they beg for help, to be freed from their condition. This is the place that Alon, and the Gang led by his mentor Casian, shall steal the very source of what gives those in power—the rightfully ruling family, the Deramore's—their ability to live in luxury as those below in the Lower Tier struggles to survive. They will forever be cast into the annals of the history of this cursed place—for better, or for worse.

World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
