Pokémon Ranks:
The MC Pokémon are based are levels, with the rest of the main world using ranks which are created by mankind. The system is not only used for current ranks of a Pokémon but additionally it is the measure of the potential of the Pokémon. The higher the potential, the faster and stronger the Pokémon can and will grow. Both Potential and Rank can be increased depending on various factors as far as training, battling, resources, and time.
Copper/ Lv. 1-Lv. 10
- Pokémon at this rank are mostly young pokémon. Pokémon with lower potential (i.e., Silver) will probably only reach their fuller potential once they evolve if they are not able to raise their initial potential.

Silver/ Lv. 11- Lv. 25
- Most wild Pokémon are at this rank, and most beginner trainers should have a silver level Pokémon. This is the Pokémon you will see fighting at the initial gym challenges.
Gold/ Lv. 26- Lv. 40
- This rank is mostly for territory leaders in the wild but are mostly in the captivity of trainers. This is the most common rank for Pokémon above the Beginner Trainer rank and is considered the standard tell for at least decent enough trainer.
Diamond/ Lv. 40-65
- It is extremely rare for wild Pokémon to be at this rank, thought it does occur for the more powerful mon species. This is where the cut off between good and great. This is where myth legendaries can be found at.
Platnium/ Lv. 66 - Lv. 99
- This is where some if not most of the wild legendaries reside that in the wild. Trainers who cultivate their Pokémon to this level usually have an important stature (i.e., Gym Leaders, Elite Four, PDB, Champion, and Pokémon Master).
Ex/ Lv. 100+
- This a place where a Pokémon are seen as colossal threats are. Champions are said to have at least one Pokémon at this level, and the chances of finding a regular Pokémon at this level is almost impossible. It is mostly illegal to battle in most places with these Pokémon as they are powerful enough to destroy cities with even the weaker of their moves. Professor Oak was rumored to carry a full team of Ex ranked Pokémon when he was active, and so has his pupil.
Legendary/ Lv. NA
- This rank is reserve for the original legendaries, and as such it is impossible for regular Pokémon to be at this rank. It is also impossible for this rank of Pokémon to be caught, even with the Masterball. Most True Legendary ranked Pokémon don't even reside in the Pokémon world, and have their own realm like garatina, with the exception being Kyogre, Groudon, and few others. Pokémon below this rank, cannot even scratch the beings residing of this rank.
*All of the this is subject to change but it fundamentally have this nature of ranks.*
