《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 111: Summer Buzz and School Explosion

With old Sullivan power bribing the principal and with Mrs. Montgomery bribing Alexander to increase her mom points, the frequent leave of absences in the future could be approved.
It was sort of like a child star privilege without the need for that film rule to have the child learn while they are filming on set.
Alexander just had to time his absences right and everything should be fine. Anyways, most of the companies under his watch are already underway and just need minute tinkerings.
The comic company was the same as always while the toy one was already on its testing phase and creation phase.
Creed Toys had to rent another small place and expand manpower for that one as it needed some equipment to handle plastic molding and functionality checking.
It is a crude way of doing things though as standardized factory machines still haven't been developed... even much less so for 3D printing.
In any case, the team is taking it slow with one toy plan at a time. The final debut date is still set for December though, so there was still an ample amount of time for the factory in China to do mass production.
It also had to be said that Creed Toys isn't exactly as mega-affluent and wide-reaching as the others in the toy business, so everything needs to start out slow until the toys get traction.
By then the brand should reach Creed Comics' level of potential in the toy industry. Fingers crossed of course, like the Barbie Empire, Lego Empire, and the My Little Pony Empire wouldn't sit still.
Still, the toys are aimed at the nerdy geeks and hooked Creed fans, so there shouldn't be too much overlap with those giants yet.
Supermarkets and established toy mega-retailers probably won't attach much importance to them yet so comic book stores are the way to go.

Marvel and DC toys aren't exactly that existent and overwhelming yet as the toy attempts of those that they've authorized with are still following the Action Jackson toy format which is outdated in Alexander's opinion.
Pretty much all toys in the current 1980s are outdated and cringy in his opinion. Perhaps their only value is the inflated price they would have in the future for their many years of nostalgia and rarity.
However, things might have to change up with his Creed Toys intervention and the toy designs he is proposing.
Fortunately, they are still feasible to be made as long as his Engine Heads and Design Heads pooled their ideas well enough to reach his much-needed specifications.
Alexander knows firsthand the advantage of using 2010s art into the 1980s, so using future toy designs should work out just fine as well.
-----
As exciting as company ventures and trajectories were, Alexander also has to find balance in schoolwork as well.
The lessons and whatnot are still boring in his opinion and he had to tone down his comic-making activities as his Alexander Creed identity has pretty much gained traction to everyone in the school who is interested in comic books.
For Alexander who dislikes rowdy crowds of people that aren't his employees, them knowing of his Creed Comics identity is a big no-no.
Of course, kids will always be kids and they don't suspect much from their quiet schoolmate whom most don't even know.
The same couldn't be said for the teachers who were now confiscating some comic books that slip up in their lessons.
Fortunately, Miss Hansen was the only one who got supremely enlightened with everything and confided with Mrs. Montgomery for asking about autographs and letters of commendation to their teaching abilities.
Even little Milica knew of her running buddy's plight, so she had to reluctantly say that Charlie from The Cybertronian Chronicles just looked like her.

Still, she wasn't as alienated as she was when in her last school. Creed Comics was the biggest thing in the 1980s children's pass time after all.
Essentially, everything about comic books for Alexander has to be kept down to a minimum when in school.
The reason... well, comic books have become so popular over the summer break that the excitement of finally having peers to share their Creed Comic know-hows has imploded at an all-time high.
-----
It was clear that although Creed titles have been gaining traction since the first months of the year. Only a handful of grade-schoolers or people in that matter has been acquainted with the niche entertainment medium.
They heard their pioneeringly hook classmates talk about it but never really took them in. As such, only a tiny percentage of students knew the fun.
It also could be reasoned that Creed single issues are way too limited and not having a copy didn't get them to be much swept up by it.
Everything changed in the school break and summertime where they had much time to explore themselves and inadvertently meet people that shared their copies around.
As such, aside from the popular Saturday Morning Cartoons activity, the little ones finally found another medium to pass the time.
Still, the limited copies continue to elude them but it only served to amp up their urge and curiosity for the others.
They debated and argued for what happened in other issues until it slowly caught on with their parents who had no choice but to quell their excitement.
Just in time and by the peak of summer excitement, the deceiving 10-in-1 deal was shown to the parents and inadvertently bought the 2 sought-after Volume Books.
The children finally got their own copies and compiled timelines of the things they've missed.
If they were hooked before, they were netted in by then. Sullivan's fishing metaphor about Alexander's business strategy really had its merits.
As the kids finally had their own Volume Books and showed off to their summer group ups, those in the summer group ups wanted one for themselves as well.
As more and more kids got their copies, others wants copies of their own to not feel left out.
Like lonely sheep wanting to be part of the stampeding sheep flock, Volume Books became sold and introduced them to the world of comic books and all the coalescing but separately intriguing stories that Creed Comics had in store.
Of course, the sheep flock didn't stop from the children but also the teens, parents, and family members that were curious to know what all the fuss is all about.
Essentially, Creed Comics became a summer buzz that by the time that school is around the corner, that scattered buzz finally found an impact point to explode upon.
Even those ignorant of Creed Comics in the summer could not help themselves but want to join in on the fun as well.
-----
Alexander who was the reason for all the comic book stuff that was happening could not help but be dumbfounded at the unexpected explosion of the comic book medium and in turn... Creed Comics as well.
His classmates and schoolmates have probably behaved in class but during lunch in the cafeteria, during pre-class and after class hours, and all the breaks, they'd have their Volume Books and single issues opened up to discuss amongst themselves.
It was an exaggeration to say that it was everyone but having the majority of the school being swept up was shocking enough.
