《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 138: Test Dummies

As much as Alexander deliberated on major generalizations such as disasters and industries. There would always be a much innumerable and incalculable factor that he can't grasp.
Sure, his influence on business and societal industries could be grasped whenever he would look at market research and sales but the same could not be said about his effect on humanity as a whole.
He knows that his plundered opportunities landed people a different avenue of jobs. It was mostly good for his employees but the same could not mostly be said to others.
Even his employees might have a very altered life progression from how they were intended to have. They might have died, they might have lived better or worse, and it continues on to the people they meet.
It was even much clear from those he had plundered from as Toriyama was stuck with an inventor manga, Mirage was on Samurai Pizza Cats, Tobin and Weston were most likely working on Silverhawks or Tiger Sharks.
They simply took a different but somewhat close career track than their true glories intended.
Maybe, the un-remembered creator-writer of RoboCop and Predator are most probably still among the many screenwriters that are struggling in Hollywood.
As for Hasbro and Takara, they are mostly quiet at this point and are most probably looking for toy opportunities somewhere else.
In any case, Alexander was living and walking amalgam of chaos that natural order was forced to approve.
His unnatural detachment and reclusiveness didn't just come from how his introverted way of life but from keeping to himself and wondering how great of a mess he is making just by living... or re-living.
Whether it was conscious plundering or a normal day in his life, the past timeline had truly been erased and he was living in a renewed one where the fault is all on him.
Alexander wasn't feeling whiny or disgruntled much by that fact though... rather he was just troubled and much more on the curious side of things.

It's not just everyone that gets to be able to subtly manipulate people's fate after all.
Fortunately, he had the perfect dummies to test his capabilities on and they just happen to be in Creed household at the moment.
-----
"Alex..." Milla, who just got out of her girl wash, was surprised to see her friend in the living room. "You don't normally watch TV. Are there stuff of yours that is being shown on the channels?"
"If there is..." Of course, her excitement grew from her assumptions, and looked towards the TV. "... is there something about Charlie?!"
"Sadly for you, it's a no." Alexander could only be amused at her assumptions and his impression to always be hung up on Creed-related stuff. He can't blame her on that though as he is literally all about Creed business since their friendly time together.
"And I guess I'm watching TV because I am on a somewhat Creed-less vacation." Alexander really hadn't had many breaks in a while and a holiday in dull January was just what he needed.
"Oh..." Milla could only say that. She was surprised by Alex having a "vacation" but was also let down by the disappointment that Charlie wasn't TV famous. Hence, she could only slump herself on the other sofa and watch whatever Alex was watching.
Of course, the channel surfing was done for her friend as he just let it stay to whatever channel was showing cartoons.
The duo then killed the rest of the morning time with an 80s cartoon while waiting for the resting adults to start up their days.
-----
"Milla, stop lazing around the TV and help me prepare breakfast." Miss Galina was always somewhat the 3rd to be ready after the kids as she was really dedicated to the babysitter slash caretaker slash semi-chauffeur role.
"Oh! Alex, I didn't see you there." Miss Galina was surprised to see the room-busy Alex watch television. It is probably rarer than the boy's smiles after all.

"Hi, Miss Galina." Alex greeted with a nod whilst turning his attention back on the cartoons and how he could improve it if he was in charge.
"Hello." The Jovovich mom greeted back as warmly and undetestable as she could whenever she was around the boy.
Meanwhile, her thoughts churned quickly on forming opportunities as she turned to her daughter. "Milla, you should probably just accompany Alex for a while and let mommy prepare the food."
Milla was always confused at her mother's shift whenever Alex was around and she just said. "Okay."
"I'll leave you to it then." Miss Galina smiled warmly as she headed to the kitchen and rejoiced at her quick thinking.
Thus, the TV watching went on as usual with Milla enjoying the show while Alexander's interest was much more on the recent interactions.
Like always, Miss Galina was always about the opportunities with talented him and how controlling she was towards Milla.
Milla meeting old Sullivan, Milla being a nominal granddaughter, Milla changing schools, Milla being a running buddy, Milla being sleepy but was enthused to run through subtle 'star' manipulation, and Milla needing to watch television with him.
Alexander knew he was the end goal to all of it but he decided to not interfere much as he looked on with a chaos butterfly perspective.
The Jovovich are most likely the closest specimen to test out his influence on people after all. If he exposed Miss Galina's scheme, then he'd just have to find another notable group of people to observe upon.
It was best to just trump her semi-harmless attempts with a much high-power scheme of his own.
Just as how Milica was his experimental comic book reaction dummy, the Jovovich ladies could also be his experiment on the butterfly effect.
And as far as he has gathered up, the semi-wiki-able ladies were somehow right on the mark as they originally are.
Milica is the cared-for pawn while Mother knows best. This situation would lead to interesting events in the public of Milla's life.
Her marriage at the age of 17 was probably a rebellion against her controlling mother. Then, her marriage for benefits with the Mathilda director was something she learned from her mother. Meanwhile, the final power marriage with the Resident Evil director was the culmination of all that.
It was probably not as shady as Alexander thinks it to be but it was surely a cutthroat Milla life when he considered his current personal perspective on things.
The girl was just innocently watching TV now while Miss Galina was just thinking of doing what she thinks is best for her daughter.
Somewhere along the line, those innocence and 'best decision' mentality would be warped by the cruelty of the world.
However, Alexander wanted to be the experimenter and variable in all that and see how he can truly affect people's life.
The people around him were just the perfect dummies for that.
Old Sullivan who is indulgent as always. Milla is a lackadaisical kid. Miss Galina is all about schemes and relationship building. All the while, Alexander would just observe and interact as he necessarily should be but hiddenly influencing things.
Does that make him evil? Probably not. They're not the MythBuster's kind of dummy after all.
Anyways, they would probably just benefit greatly from it as he wouldn't influence them towards dead ends.
Still, Alexander would get his personalized observation of his chaotic effects towards the human factor.

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week.
