《Let's Play: Chronicles of Zurefgar》Intermission: Chronicles of Zurefgar

Mammals do love playing around, don’t they? It is as if playing is hardwired to their brain which is also important for them to learn some survival skills. I guess, it is no wonder that we mankind love to play games. Though, I am not really sure what purpose does some of it serve.
I mean, I understand that it is important during early age to improve muscle movement, brain development, and such. But, what about video games that we play during adulthood? Will it serve any purpose?
Well, when I think about it, the main purpose is definitely recreation and they say that people who do not have time for recreation would need to find time for illness. That might be true for a lot of cases, though I cannot say for sure that my illness actually went away after playing a lot of video games. I just hope it will not get worse.
I am quite interested in VRMMORPG due to the usage of AdVRSe. Theoretically, the time acceleration effect would help us manage the time needed to be spent in game. Though, during my younger days, this did not help much.
Do not worry, I was not part of those involved in the refusal incident during the peak age of VRMMORPG named Noxius. I just played a lot, much more than now.
Noxius was very famous. I did try playing it for a while before I got bored with the endless grinding for levels, items, and stuff. I heard that there was barely anyone able to reach the maximum level due to how difficult it was despite the advantage given for having a higher level. However, it had a lot of issues which caused players to leave it.
Go figure out one of the problems, it is really blatant.

It was at the end of the game server’s life that the refusal incident happened. As if the game’s issues were not many enough to tarnish the game’s and developer’s reputation.
During the aftermath of the incident, a lot of games tried to claim the throne as the best and most famous VRMMORPG. Raegantz Online, released by a South Korean developer, became one of the most notable ones which stole the attention of many players that mainly came from Asia continent. I was never interested in the game, but it is actually still famous until today.
In the western hemisphere of the world, another AdVRSe VRMMORPG rose around one and a half years ago. Unlike Raegantz which sported a more anime-ish theme and somewhat take a lot of inspiration from Noxius, nor western VRMMORPG that love a more dark and brutal approach, Chronicles of Zurefgar became a breath of fresh air that took a more lighthearted approach to the typical western fantasy setting. There were still brutal fights and heroic acts, but the general tone was definitely softer.
This helped it draw the attention of a broader audience. Not to mention the activity done by the developers, the interesting faction dynamics, as well as the custom ability which definitely gave their developers and game masters one hell of a nightmare to accomplish. This popularity was also the reason why Zurefgar was invited to The Clashing Realms.

Now, back to the topic of mammals and playing around to increase survivability, does that mean if I want to learn survival skills then I should learn to play classes like hunters, shamans, rogues, or mystic?
Tch.
