Chapter 46: Getting Sir Drools-A-Lot off the Scent
“Hey, Teacher Lu Daomeng!”
Lu Daomeng groaned at the voice. “Wang Zen? I thought you said you were going to bed.”
“Yeah, I went the wrong way!” Zen said. Shibi sneezed, causing Zen to pat him on the neck, “Keep it together Shibi.” he whispered to red monkey before he too sneezed.
Lu Daomeng tilted his head at Zen’s seemingly happy behaviour. “Overly happy behaviour, losing your way to a dorm room you always go to. Hmm… have you taken the sip of the hot stuff?”
“Huh?”
“Are you drunk?” Lu Daomeng said. “I’d understand. Some people do lean on alcohol after a traumatic life and death situation.”
“I’m not drunk,” Zen said.
Sir Drools-a-lot put his paws on him where he licked his face.
“I’m not that happy! Get off me, you stupid mutt!” Zen shoved Sir Drools-a-lot away.
“I guess you haven’t taken any happy juice.” Lu Daomeng said in disappointment.
“Alright Shibi,” Zen whispered to the ape on his shoulder, “Do it.”
Shibi leapt down and shook himself vigorously under Sir Drools-a-lot’s nose. The Grey Stalker began sneezing.
“What’s wrong?” Lu Daomeng looked at the dog.
Zen shrugged, “I don’t know?”
The Grey Stalker sneezed a lot, covering its mucus dripping nose with a paw.
“It came in contact with your Scorch Ape and started sneezing,” Lu Daomeng knelt beside the dog before looking up at Zen in suspicion. “Why is that?”
Zen began feeling flustered, “Maybe… he is… allergic to Shibi! Yeah, he’s probably allergic!”
“He was not allergic before… Achew!” Lu Daomeng covered his nose as he sneezed. “Is that pepper? I your monkey covered in pepper?” Lu Daomeng was suddenly overtaken by a fit of sneezing.

“Oh… Oh yeah,” Zen said, trying to hold back a sneeze while talking, “he had spilled some pepper, it must have gotten on him.” as he said this, he remembered how the pepper actually got on Shibi…
-
Zen was pouring two shakers filled with red pepper on Shibi, who had his hands clamed over his mouth and nose to prevent himself from sneezing. Everyone in the cafeteria was looking at hi strangely. Everyones eyes was on him but he ignored them for the most part.
“Excuse me, Young Sir.” A man wearing an apron said. “The seasoning is only for food.”
“Oh?” Zen said, continuing to jiggle the salt shakers onto Shibi. “This is food. Yeah… I’m pre-seasoning it before I cook it.”
“You’re going to eat it with its fur,” the man in the apron said sceptically, “because you’re currently not seasoning the meat but the hide.”
“Y-Yeah, I’ve always enjoyed… meat with the fur on.”
To Zen’s relief, the shakers ran empty and he grabbed Shibi and ran off.
-
Wang Zen, Lu Daomeng, Shibi and Sir Drools-a-lot were all engulfed in an eruption of sneezing. They were doing more sneezing than actualy breathing.
“This… Achew… is a disaster! Achew!” Lu Daomeng said. “I’m calling… Achew… it a night. Achew!”
“Okay. Achew!” Zen said.
“Come dog,” Lu Daomeng said, already walking away, “ Achew… and give your monkey a bath!”
Sir Drools-a-lot tried to take one last lick of Zen but sneezed instead, showering him in enough saliva that his top half looked like it had been through a rain strom.
“Urgh!” Zen said, wiping his face. “You damned dog… Achew… I know you did that purpose! Achew!” he sneezed while shaking his fist to the sneezing hound as it scurried away after a sneezing Lu Daomeng.

Zen and Shibi appeared in Jiahai’s hallway, both having twin lines of mucus running down their noses and identical annoyed looks on their faces.
“W-Wang Zen?” Jiahai said in surprise.
“Yeah,” Zen said.
“Ook!” Shibi added.
“You and Shibi have something on your…” Jiahai gestured to the nose.
“We know,” Zen said. “We got tired of using my sleeves,” Zen held up his sleevs which already had dark stains drying on them, “so we decided to come back here and use your sleeves.”
“N-No need!” Jiahai waved his hands before fishing out a piece of cloth from his garments. “Here, use this handkerchief instead.”
“How convenient,” Zen said as he took the handkerchief and blew his nose, “So did you do it?”
Jiahai nodded before calling Rizon out. The little dog walked out from beneath the bed and looked up at them, its eyes having a silver line in it to symbolise the beast contract.
Jiahai looked at Shibi. “Wang Zen, why don’t you initiate a beast contract with Shibi?”
“What?” Zen rubbed Shibi’s head. “Even though I take care of him, I could never think of myself as Shibi’s master.”
“There are other kinds of beast contracts other than master and servant contracts.” Jiahai said. “It may take time but if you want I could rese…”
Zen raised his hand to silence him. “I don’t think I’ll do that. For now, Shibi and I will remain what we’ve always been, companions.”

Project TheirWorld: Book Two - Tatterskin
**IMPORTANT: Because I am trying to reconcile some of the consistancy issues due to unexpected changes in how I've decided to write the story, this story is to be renamed/reordered. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. The Tutorial (completed, but unedited) is now to be concidered as Book One of Tatterskin. Tatterskin will contiune without real inturruption, though "Book Two" is really going to be the rest of the series with multiple volumes. Sorry guys! I've gone and brought the chaos of my real life into the storyverse T-T. ----- Dassah Graydon was just another human woman looking for adventure in her life when she moved to the academic floating continent, the Enclave. But while she wanted to escape her mundane reality, she quickly discovers that her life there – with the exception of all the crazy aliens and the unusual setting – was no different than her life on Earth had been. After spending a couple of months getting used to the place, she finally got the chance to play the popular new VRMMORPG, TheirWorld. As she is drawn deeper and deeper into the game, however, she begins to realize that her in-game life is far more connected to the happenings of reality than she could have imagined. Finding herself in the middle of a conspiracy that threatens her life and the lives of the people around her, Dassah must decide whether she allows herself to be a puppet, or she finds the determination to become the master of her own fate. This is a Project: TheirWorld story, and there is a prequel story, The Tutorial (completed, but unedited) but if I am doing my job, you won't need to have read that to enjoy this one. ____ The story will usually update once a week, sometime on Fridays JST. The updates on Royal Road L will be about 1 chapter behind my main WordPress site found here: Project: TheirWorld. This will change, as the WordPress site will have holiday releases and RRL will not. Thank you for reading, and the support! :) ____

[Discontinued] Armus : First Draft
THIS FICTION HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. I don't recommend reading this, since the chapters are a bit haphazard (containing new edits which don't really fit in with the latter half of the story).

Technically Sentient
Technically Sentient is the uncomfortable answer to the Fermi Paradox: bureaucratic inertia. There's also a shark cop in there too. And a human meat tank and a bunch of greys down on their luck and a viral bioengineered killing machine and a T-posing AI and a cat. But they're not important, in the grand scheme of things.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
