《I Died and Got Summoned to Another World as a WHAT?!?!》Ep. 154 The Church Part 7

As I am dodging I have a sudden idea, so I stab Blitz into the ground and free my hands. Then as the angel swings at me again I use my greater agility and strength to grab both his wrists. I easily stop his arms momentum and hold him in place.
Angel says "Release me you cur!"
I stretch his arms out to the side and lift him so we are eye to eye, his feet are dangling a foot off the floor. He panics and starts trying to kick me, but he doesn't even hurt me. I feel a slight burning sensation on my hands where I am holding his wrists but nothing worth worrying about.
"I once saw in a movie that if you rip an angel's wings off they lose their power, is that true?"
Angel screams "Holos! Aid me!!"
A quick look around shows nothing happened, no divine visitation, no backup, no nothing. If he is an angel of Holos I would expect some kind of response, or is he just a foot soldier. If Holos has an army of angels then he wouldn't really care about one little weakling I guess.
"Looks like you are all alone!"
Angel screams "Merran! Kormer! Celeste! Save me!!!"
This time there is a response, a pillar of golden light crashes through the roof and lands a dozen feet away from us. When the light fades another angel is revealed, this one has two sets of wings. He feels a lot more powerful than the first angel, from the feel of him I would say he is rank five or so.
Angel says "Greylen! Thank you for coming! Please save me!"
Greylen says "You dared to call on all three of our Lord's archangels just to deal with some beast?"

Angel says "He is no mere beast, he is a demonic beast! He is stronger than me, I wasn't able to even wound him!"
Greylen says "Hmph, if Celeste hadn't ordered me to save you I would kill you myself you weaking!"
Before the angel can respond I decide I have had enough of their bickering. With the power in my arms and shoulders I tear the angel's arms completely off. Then while he is screaming in pain and before he can cast heal I grab his head with both hands and rip it off.
Greylen looks at me angrily as I drop the angel's head on the floor and pick up Blitz. He is armed with a long spear and has interesting armor on, it is made of thousands of diamond shaped pieces of a silver metal I have never seen before. As a blacksmith I want to examine that armor and figure out how it was made, it looks to provide excellent defense without impeding movement at all.
Greylen says "You just caused me to fail my mission, for that you will die!"
"It's his own fault for coming here and picking a fight to protect a piece of scum."
Greylen says "I care not for fault, I only care for my mission which you ruined!"
"Then you can just die here as well!"
Greylen leaps at me and I quickly use Blitz to parry his spear strike. From just that one contact I can tell he is almost as strong as me physically. He is going to be much harder to kill especially since if I don't kill him in one hit he can just heal.
After blocking the spear again I counter attack with Blitz, but his armor absorbs the hit and he barely stumbles from the impact. That armor is way better than anything I have seen so far, it covers him from the neck down. So my only chance is going to be a headshot, wait I just noticed he has no halo.

Does that mean he is a different type of angel or is it just something the humans made up about angels? My distraction causes me to almost miss a dodge, his spear grases past my chest leaving a small cut. It parted my armor like it was made of paper, if I hadn't dodge most of it I would be dead!
Greylen says "You are not bad for a beast!"
My only answer is a growl as I set my feet and ready pierce, I need to fake him out somehow. I have the edge on him in speed and agility, maybe if I attack and let him block then go for a faster second attack. I can't think of any other options so I aim pierce at his gut and attack, he blocks with his spear easily.
'Demonic assault! Dash!'
In a flash I set for pierce again and aim for his head, I strike as fast and as hard as I can. My only hope is to kill him with my boosted speed before he can respond or dodge. My speed completely overwhelms him but as Blitz is about to pierce his head a golden glow envelopes his head and then shatters.
Belatedly he raises his spear to protect his head, I have to finish him before dash wears off! So I kick him in the stomach, the armor blocks most of it but the impact is still enough to make him bend over. As he does I jump to his left and raise Blitz over my head as I set my footing.
Using chop form I aim at the back of his neck, and I swing Blitz with all my might. Again the golden shield appears and shatters, but this time my swing still has enough energy left to sever Greylen's head.
Congratulations! You have earned the title Angel Slayer!
Angel Slayer: +10% Damage vs Angels.
'Well, that will be useful if I run into any more!'
As I stand over the body it starts to dissolve until nothing is left but the armor and spear. Looking over I see that the first angel's body has also disappeared. As I pick up the nifty silver armor to take a look at it I hear something rattle around inside it.
When I tip it upside down a golden orb falls to the floor, I quickly put the armor in my pouch since touching it burns my hands. Curious I go over and pick up the first angel's breastplate, a smaller golden orb falls to the floor. I put the breastplate in my pouch, I also collect the two swords and the spear and put them in my pouch as well.
'Hmm, these orbs are angelic cores! But it doesn't give me the option to absorb them! Probably because I am a demon I am not compatible with them.'
After putting the cores in my pouch I turn to look for the high priest, I find him in the corner of the chapel beaten and bloody. Seems the acolytes got some revenge once they saw the angels defeated, can't say I blame them one bit. I pick him up roughly and slap him until he wakes up.
"Now you are going to answer my questions, or I am going to cut you apart piece by piece."

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

Ode to Freud
For those who do not understand the reference, "wish fulfillment" is before anything a term created by Sigmund Freud in the 1900's. In psychology it is a state of satisfying unconscious needs and desires by the use of fantasy and delusion. In literature it is the very base of fictional work, but also the name of a style of writing where the author sacrifices the key elements of good storytelling in order to fulfill his own psychopathic, neurotic or perverse needs and desires, usually through the use of the characters in weird and forced situations. What I meant by the title of this story is that it is a trashy, badly written, shitty story about me getting some wish fulfillment by the use of some characters and a fictional world of my creation. Not the good kind of fulfillment, since my wishes are of the bad kind and I intend to fulfill those, not yours. Also, being a total amateur and not writing a proper plot before starting are two big indicators that this story is going to go bad. I guess Royal Road call this kind of stories the "Mary Sue" kind. So, unless you are a very ugly piece of trash (at least as much as I am) don’t bother reading it. Now, if you ARE messed up on the level of a clinically depressive, lightly suicidal, lolicon/shotacon aligned morbidly obese hikikomori vermin who sold his virginity to a prostitute and is currently living at the costs of his widowed mother after expending all the money he got from his father’s inheritance, all the while masturbating furiously to beast/furry dickgirl hentai, then be welcomed. Please feel free to get a serving at my antidepressants and also at the canned tuna I have stored in the fridge. There may be some cheese somewhere, and I am pretty sure I bought some juice the other day, but I have no idea where it is. Anyway. You may dislike what I write because of all the amauteur(ish) writing, or you may not. Who knows. Give it a try and write a comment. It gets lonely writing to no one. Also, feel free to grant me inspiration not only by making comments about the world and/or characters, but specially by suggesting a music for me to listen while I write the next chapter. Be warned : I do get influenced easily by the background music I listen while writing. If you exist, of course. I'm seriously doubting anyone has read anything after the "lolicon hikikomori" thing. Also, I have a tiny dick.Just so you can feel better about yourself a little more. Or maybe I have just degraded psychologically a little more and now I am into shame-play. I wonder if the psychiatrist would increase my meds a bit if I told her about it.Hope I never get to penispanick, though! Self-mutilation, especially of the castration type, would be baaaad. After all, I do like my prostitutes. And having sex with them when I can afford it. Oh, yeah, the story. I will just write the first chapter in a few moments.Until later, b(i)each.
