The sprite leads me to my bedroom, if you can even call it that, since the room I am looking at is as big as my house was in my last life. The only way I can think to describe the bed would be a double-king size, the thing is massive. I notice Asuna is sleeping on a pillow on one side of the bed, she looks happy so I will try not to wake her.

Instead of disappearing like I expected the sprite bounces around to get my attention and then leads me to another door. As soon as I open the door I get a face full of pleasantly scented steam. The bathroom is huge and extremely lavish but what draws my eyes is the bathtub full of hot water.

Although, it would be more accurate to call it a hot tub considering I've never seen a bathtub that large. Either way I quickly strip and climb in, using the clean stone is all well and good but nothing feels as good as a hot bath. As I sink into the water with a sigh I notice my armor and coat floating away.

The only things left on the floor are Blitz and my pouch, but I'm not too worried. This place is set up to serve the guest, so my bet is everything is being taken away to be cleaned and repaired. It saves me doing it myself and I am not about to complain, so I just lay back and let the hot water relax my muscles.

"Yui?"

Yui says "Yes? Do you need something?"

"Actually, I was checking if we could still communicate."

Yui says "There is no place in the tower where I am unavailable."

"Have you been active since the tower was built?"

Yui says "Affirmative."

"Then, tell me about the demon war."

Yui says "Are the demons of interest to you?"

"Yes, the great barrier is down. We expect the demons to invade in the next few years."

Yui says "That is unfortunate. With no mages it will be hard to stop the demons."

"There are mages amongst the humans, although magic knowledge has fallen quite far. But why do you say it will be hard? The demon lords I have seen aren't that overwhelming."

Yui says "You have already encountered the demon lords??"

Since Yui has already been very helpful I don't mind telling her the story of my capture. It takes a while to tell and by then the water has started to get cold so I climb out of the tub. As soon as I do a huge fluffy towel floats to my hands and behind it I can see a robe floating my way.

As I dry myself and put the robe on I continue telling Yui the story, if she has enough information she may even be able to help. If nothing else she should have information on the demons that will prove extremely useful. By the time I am done telling the story I can't stop from yawning every few words.

Yui says "Turning the demon lords against each other was an excellent move."

"Thank you. It was my hope to buy enough time to unify the human kingdoms and the beastmen against the demons. There is another issue as well, one of the human kingdoms is infested with shadow demons."

Yui says "You sound tired. Why don't you get some sleep and we can continue our discussion in the morning."

"Alright, I'm not going to argue."

Yui says "Enjoy your rest."

Dropping the robe onto the floor I pull back the covers and climb into the huge bed. The bedsheets are made of something like velvet but even softer, and the bed itself is as soft as a cloud. As soon as I lay down I feel like I am absorbed into a comfy cocoon and I fall asleep within seconds.

I am woken up in the morning by Asuna who is happily bouncing around on the bed. This includes on top of me hence why I am now awake, but I just can't be mad at her because of how adorable she is. Instead I start moving my hand around under the covers, just like I would for a cat.

It doesn't take long for Asuna to notice and start trying to pounce on my hand. After playing with her for a while I catch her and pull her close against my chest and start petting her. The next thing I know one of the sprites is waking me up and telling me that breakfast is being served.

It seems that Asuna and I both ended up falling asleep, so picking her up I head for the dining room. As soon as I open the door to the throne room I can smell breakfast. My steps quickly speed up as I rush towards the dining room, the smell is making me extremely hungry.

When I enter the dining room I see that Kechara and Bones are already here. But my attention is drawn to the feast laid out on the table, it looks like enough food to feed fifty people at least. I quickly move to my chair and sit down, I put Asuna on her chair, and then we all dig in.

While the variety of food is impressive and everything is delicious, what surprises me is how similar some of the dishes are to those in my old life. Eating them makes me somewhat homesick for a minute, but even if I could I don't really want to go back to that world. That is not unless I can keep my current power when I return, that would truly tempt me.

Again, we all eat way too much until we can barely move, I am fairly sure this isn't healthy. Although it should be fine for Asuna since she is still growing, Kechara is done growing I think. So Kechara and I are going to have to be careful that we don't start getting fat.

I also need to do my best not to get used to this type of luxury, after all I won't be staying here for too long. I don't want all this luxury to make me soft, especially when I will go back to living in a cave when I leave here. Although, I will have to ask Yui if I can have some of these recipes for the cook at the inn.

Not only would that improve the meals for the girls and I, but it would help improve the inn's business. Anyway, that is just a random thought, I need to finish gathering information and then head to the temple. I was somewhat expecting Yui to have resumed our conversation by now, I wonder what she might be thinking.
