《The Revenge Story Of The Holder Of 【The Archives Of Knowledge】 In Another World》Chapter 33: Flood End

(NOTE: Sorry about the short chapter, I was sick when I wrote it)
The third morning of the Flood, people noticed that the number of monsters has increased and so more of them were coming towards the town, the people were confused at the start but Soma told them that the number increased because there are enough monsters to keep attacking the town for two more days and rather than doing that all of the monsters are coming at once…
“…So that means that if we kill all of the monsters coming at us the Flood would come to an end by today, right?”(Ren)
“That’s exactly what I meant! And by the looks of things, we might be done by noon today!”(Soma)
Soma said so as he killed five War Ogres along with some Hobgoblins that were standing between them, hearing that Ren went running towards the town to inform everyone of what he heard from Soma.
“So you are saying that we are at the last spurt, right?”(Mercenary)
“Yes! At least that’s what I heard from Soma”(Ren)
“If it’s what Soma-dono had said, then it must be true! How about all of the combatants who are resting go and join the fight as well? Either way, we are going to rest once and for all once the Flood is finished!”(Knight)
“I agree!! Let’s all head out and kill all of those monsters once and for all!!”(Mercenary)
All of the combatants who were receiving treatment and were resting started standing up and heading out to the battlefield, the battlefield became flooded with monsters and combatants and as to not let people get in each other’s way, Ren along with Alf the lord of Elk worked together to arrange the combatants in a wider formation and like that the massacre of the monsters became faster and more efficient.

What caught Soma’s and Ren’s attention was a certain combatant, he is a young boy who used a short sword to kill the Hobgoblins and Goblins one after the another, right after Soma the boy the one who spent the most time fighting against the Flood’s monsters, Soma was the only one to stay in the battlefield the whole time never going to rest or to even eat, he spent all of his time since the start of the Flood fighting the monsters, and right after such Soma was the young boy who was actually part of the group behind Soma.
All the combatants fought the monsters with everything they had and by noon all of the monsters were successfully killed and no more monsters came from the direction of the forest, seeing that all of the combatants unleashed a loud cry marking the end of the first Flood where no one dies at all.

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

Power of Possibility

Thrust out of everything he knows he is forced on a voyage that leads him further away than any gods had gone in the legends. Will the new world favour him like the great Achilles and the strong Heracles, or will he merely be a footnote in history? Off the Vat
Sergeant Gonzal had a very good nose for trouble. But this time, rather than the Cloning vats, the reek of things rotting came from the Mess Hall. *** "Off the Vat" is a complete, very short novel (around 20,000 words across 7 chapters), inspired by the recloning mechanic that Sci Fi MMOs like EVE Online or The Repopulation use to explain why players respawn.

A BEND IN TIME
Before there ever was a boy that ever lived in a cupboard on Four Privet Drive, there was a similar boy in a far worse home that lived on Spinner’s End. We all know the tale of that abused boy who grew up to become a bitter spy. But not all tales end the same for in the many parallel worlds that exist in the universe there are far better endings, and equally as many worse ones. This is a tale of one such condemned universe that for better or for worse choose to change its own fate. (All rights to the Harry Potter world and characters belong solely to J. K. Rowling. People are less forgiving and more critical to published writers, it seems. I'll post whenever my mental health allows. Hope everyone understands.
