Well, that's book two all finished up. That means this is the part where I get to discuss it, and hype you up for the next book. This book actually started as a short story of about 500 words. I like writing short stories, because I never know where they're going to go. I wasn't sure about posting this one on Royal Road, so I made some changes that you can find on my site, or the ebook version. I feel like in this version I just alluded to Rythe being abused, but in other versions I was very forward about the fact that he had been sexually abused as a child. Part of the reason for that is because I feel like Royal Road isn't always the best place for most of the writing I do. I think the readership skews a little younger than my normal audience so I try to tone some things down. I wasn't hiding my writing from Royal Road, I was hiding Royal Road from my writing, or whatever Drake said.

This is by far the shortest entry into the series so far, the next is by far the longest. The next is also the first with only a single point of view, so that'll be a little different. If you've stuck around this long, thank you. I'm always surprised when people enjoy my writing. Mostly because I'm a selfish writer who writes for myself. I'm sorry, it simply is what it is.
