It's been six months since we traumatised Onoki, although he didn't make it obvious, he's still keeping an eye on Konoha.

We didn't do much, Mikasa is racking her brain around the 'space' technique she wants. Although we call it a technique, it's more like control over space.

While she's busy with her favourite anime power purist, I am training. Although I can't wait to pursue my favourite anime power, I am still not strong enough. And there's only one source of it in this world.

I created around 50 permanent shadow clones after the incident with Onoki and sent them everywhere to place our Flying Thunder God marks. Mostly all of the mainlands have been covered.

'We are already at a level where we can't just grow stronger by learning new Jutsus or increasing our affinities.' I thought.

'We are probably on the same level as the 5 Kage that Madara slapped around like kids. To increase our strength, we can only train over time. We'll surpass them eventually but it looks like it'll take some time.'

Mikasa also got her Space talent, which is currently an F grade talent. The technique she is creating isn't some simple teleportation like Flying Thunder God which uses chakra, it's space control. It'll take decades before she can even half-ass it, or get new techniques related to space to speed up the process.

To have a sudden increase in our strength, we need a similar boost that Madara and Hashirama got, that being Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and Sage mode respectively. While I want to learn sage mode, I also plan on creating one that is perfect for both of us.

'So for us to do it, I need to awaken the Kurama clan's Kekkei Genkai and Mikasa needs to awaken her Mangekyō Sharingan.'

While I was thinking about this, someone entered the 'No spy' seal, as I teleported near the seal, it was Dan.

"What brings you here?" I asked, Mikasa probably didn't even notice that Dan just entered our house.

"Mito-sama asked me to bring you and Mikasa," Dan said with a smile.

"Just wait for a second," I said before disappearing again.

"Let's go," I said as I appeared near the meditating Mikasa.

"Why?" She wasn't annoyed that I disturbed her training, probably knowing I won't do it without a reason.

"Mito-sensei called us." Yeah, I called her sensei even tho we are alone. Well, she treats us like her grandchildren and Mikasa is happy about it. Even if it isn't much, she is still happy. For that I'm grateful.

"Why did she call us?" Mikasa asked.

"Who knows," I said before teleporting with her. We appeared before the yawning Dan as my hand landed on his shoulder. Well, more like my hand was struggling to reach his shoulder. It's not that I am short, it's just that Dan is taller than average.

We teleported again, appearing inside the Uzumaki compound. Flying Thunder God is really convenient. We walked towards Mito's room.

"Mito-sensei, why did you call us suddenly?" Mikasa complained while entering Mito's room.

Inside the room, Mito was sitting on the bed with Tsunade sitting next to her. My eyes fell on the red-haired girl standing next to the bed, timidly looking around with her dark violet eyes. It was Uzumaki Kushina, the next Jinchuriki of the nine tails. 'Yeah, she did come to Konoha when she was 9.'

It's year 50, so going by the timeline, Sakumo left the village for a mission and will not be back without a little Kakashi.

"Well, I called you guys to introduce someone," Mito said before turning towards Kushina and saying, "Introduce yourself and don't be shy, you all are the same age."

Kushina introduced herself without a 'dattebane' but there was only one thought in my mind.

'So loud.' The anime didn't do justice to how loud her voice was. I am certainly not the type who'll talk too much, the same goes for Mikasa. 'I am starting to lose motivation.'

"Shiba Tatsuya, my goal is to do whatever I want."

"Uchiha Mikasa, no real goal to speak of."

When comparing our introductions, Kushina was definitely better. Mito, Tsunade and Dan looked at us as if giving up.

"You guys should do something about your enthusiasm, you aren't even trying." Tsunade glared at us while we just ignored her. Dan and Mito were enjoying themselves while staring at the now annoyed Tsunade.

"So why is she here?" Before someone ended up getting punched by Tsunade, most likely me or Dan, I secretly shifted the topic.

"She is also my student, just like you guys, so don't bully her," Mito said with a smile.

"Sensei, do we look like bullies to you?" Mikasa asked.

In response to her question, all three adults nodded. 'Traitors.'

We never bullied a child, excluding the kids Mikasa beat up now and then. Every Genin tries their best to avoid us nowadays. She didn't even spare Hiashi, who was looking at her with his Byakugan. And the catch is that it happened in front of his father, Hiyashi. Mikasa knew when to stop so Hiyashi didn't even bother to save his son. If he can't even take a beating, how will he lead a clan like the Hyuga- was what he said. Third Raikage, is that you?

"Mito-san, will they be with me in the Academy?" Kushina asked. She must be nervous about what she'll do in a place full of strangers.

"No, they won't," Mito said, not knowing what else to say.

"Why? They don't want to become a shinobi?" Kushina was confused.

"You see, even if these two are your age, they are official Jonin of Konoha," Dan said with an awkward smile.

Oh, that also happened. We were promoted to Jonin rank last month after we captured some rouge ninjas who were causing trouble for the Daimyo of the Land of Fire. Since even the twelve guardian ninjas of the Daimyo weren't able to capture them, our promotion was set in stone. And so, we officially became the youngest Jonin ever.

Kushina was getting even more enthusiastic after hearing that we were strong. She then started on about how she'll become the first female Hokage.

"Tatsuya, Mikasa, why don't you show Kushina around the village, Dan will accompany you so eat whatever you want," Tsunade said with a smile while Dan looked at us as if we were robbing him. It's not his fault tho. Mikasa eats a lot, contrary to her delicate appearance. And her appetite increases when someone else is paying.

'She probably wants to talk about Kushina being the next Jinchuriki with Mito. After all, her grandmother will die in some years.' I thought while leaving. We didn't use Flying Thunder God because it'll be a pain to explain to kushina that she can't learn this Jutsu.

We ate a lot while moving. Although we are fairly rich, it's still fun freeloading. Dan was slowly transforming into a spirit even without using his Jutsu as his wallet was getting lighter and lighter.

We finished the day with Ichiraku Ramen. It was a nice evening if you ignore the sobbing Dan.

We came back to our house while Dan accompanied Kushina on her way back.

"How's your space training going?" I asked while patting Mikasa's head, who was getting comfortable on my lap.

"Well." She waved her hand as small cracks appeared in mid-air. The cracks were very small, so much that normal people wouldn't even notice them.

"I can influence space now, but it's very low. It doesn't require chakra at all, it uses some of my mental strength to use it. But I can substitute it with chakra and natural energy if I want to." She explained.

"That's good," I said with a smile.

"What about you?" Mikasa asked.

"I can't replicate the power I felt that day, not even a little," I said as Mikasa nodded.

"That's understandable, I am only able to do this much because of the basic knowledge of space provided by the Flying Thunder God," Mikasa said.

"I think I need some kind of base, like how you used the Flying Thunder God as a base for your space control," I said, thinking about something very troublesome.

"And the only place you can find something like that is Roran." Mikasa continued what I was about to say.

"The Ryūmyaku." I sighed again. 'Troublesome.'

"But how do you know that what I felt when I first used Flying Thunder God was the power of 'time' along with 'space'?" I asked her.

"I don't know, but my instinct told me." She shrugged.

"The Ryūmyaku, a power source said to grant its user infinite chakra, if used correctly, can be used to travel through time as well. No one knows about its origins or how the royal family of Roran came up with a method to seal and unseal such power at will." I said while thinking.

"It's strange how no one, not even Jigen or Kaguya noticed this kind of abnormality. Not to mention Hogoromo, who travelled throughout the world. Black Zetsu was probably busy with his two reincarnated nephews so it isn't strange he didn't care about it." Mikasa said, we were about to enter our weeb mode.

"How come the God tree leaves such a source of chakra when making the chakra fruit? And if all it required for time travel was a large amount of chakra, the Otsusuki would've destroyed the Universe already." I said.

"But it's strange. Neither space nor time can exist independently, their existence isn't absolute. So what does it mean when the people who are practically the best in controlling space can't even sense the Ryūmyaku?" Mikasa asked something obvious.

"It's hiding from those with Otsusuki bloodline. Since it's confirmed that Kaguya and Isshiki came to this world to grow a chakra tree, the Ryūmyaku being here must be a coincidence." I answered.

"But the main question is, why is it hiding from them? I doubt that the Ryūmyaku is sentient, otherwise, humans won't be able to harness such power, not to mention contain it into a bloodline based sealing technique." Mikasa said.

"Yeah, someone hid it on purpose. Now we need to investigate." I said.

"There's no way in hell we're leaving something that looks so much fun," Mikasa reassured.

"Roran was supposed to be destroyed in the third shinobi war, so we have a lot of time. And Mukade was supposed to come back in time 10 years later, but he won't be able to now." Mikasa said with a smile.

"Since it was destroyed even with the Ryūmyaku, it means someone was able to block the control that the royal family had on it or probably Mukade, time travel is really complicated. The more I think about it, the more interesting it gets. Let's visit them after or before the second shinobi war." I said with a smile.

"First the Zero tails and now the Ryūmyaku, things never get boring in this world," Mikasa said.

And so, without anyone knowing why, the destruction of Roran along with the Land of the sky was set in stone by the whim of two nine-year-old kids.
