Johan Douglas stood before the court alongside his designated defender.
"Mr. Douglas, you are being charged as an alien sympathizer. How do you plead?"
Johan spoke, "Your Honor, I only wish to feed my family …"
"Objection!" yelled the prosecutor. "There are no legitimate excuses. Our research has shown that the aliens could not have successfully invaded and occupied Earth without the aid of human servants. We found the same to be true for all historical reigns by monarchs and autocrats. It is your kind who has fueled the aliens' human trafficking market. You willfully joined them because they offered you protection and prosperity. You are responsible for their dominance!"
Johan's defender responded, "Your Honor, there are billions of these so-called servant-sympathizers. Do you plan to charge each and every one of them?"
The judge pounded a gavel, stood up, then fired a laser weapon, killing Johan.
"Anyone who serves the alien empire is the enemy! Spread the word!"
