Hans stared at the giant boxes that appeared in front of him with a mixture of confusion and shock.
“A-Am I seeing this correctly?” Hans asks.
Not a moment later, his question was answered.

All your questions will be answer if you were to look outside. Well, most of your questions at least.
Hans glared at the notification before doing as it said and crawl out of the hole he was in, and out in the oppressive sun beaming down its rays onto the desert and its inhabitants which now include him.
The moment he step out into the sunlight, Hans felt the heat was boiling him alive as if he had melted glass shove his thirst and into his body, he could feel his blood starting to be evaporated and his organs being melted.

However, before he managed to get back in, a giant scaly foot with massive claws the size of a human, looking sharp enough to cut through metal block his path. A massive shadow engulf Hans and he slowly, and nervously, his look up.
And what he sawed scared him, scales the color of gold, teeth that were more like butcher knives, and eyes that hold nothing but malice in them. It reminded Hans of a horned lizard but bigger, meaner, with knives stuck to it and fused with a komodo dragon.
If he was still human, he would have pissed himself.
It was looking far distance, not noticing Hans at all, and his scorpion body’s instinct was yelling at him to run away, and Hans obey.
[Burrow - Lv. 1] Leveled Up
[Burrow - Lv. 2] Leveled Up
[Burrow - Lv. 3] Leveled Up
Hans burrow into the ground as quickly as he can, with only one thing on his mind. He dig and dig and dig, until he found himself falling.
He slammed into the hard ground, upside down, groaning in pain, Hans struggle for few moments before flipping himself back onto his legs. His exoskeleton was dented, and felling on his back hurt his tail, a lot.
“Ooowwwwws.”
[Pain Resistance - Lv. 1] Leveled Up
”Fuck off.”
Hans sighs and decided took a breather. He stood there, still as a rock as what he just saw sink in.
“I’m really in another world,” He said.
He shook his head and decided not to dwell on it and took a look around, he seem to be in what appeared to be a cave with crystals that gave glows which illuminated the cave which allowed him to see, barely, but it was better than being in the dark.
The cave was massive, open with tons of spaces and a bit chilly.
“Well, got nothing better to do, might as well explore this cave,” Hans mutter.

He crawls to one of the nearby crystals to inspect it and on the way there, he found so me sort of moss growing on a rock, the moss itself was ominous looking, blood red, when Hans came near it, the moss seem to reach out for him with dozens of tiny little red tentacles.
He decided to call it, Blood Moss, after it color and moved on, not wanting anything to do with it. When he finally got the crystal, he saw that the crystal have what appeared to be veins and in the center of it was a yellow object that looked like a embryo with a eye on its stomach.
Staring straight at him.
”What the fuck is that!” Hans yells, recoiling out of disgust and backing away from it. “Uhh, SYSTEM what that thing?” He questions, hoping for an answer.
I am not allowed to answer that question.
He was given an answer, just one that he didn’t like.
“What do you mean you’re not allowed to?”
I am not allowed that answer that question.
“Great, then what are you allowed to answer?” Hans asked. “Or are you not allowed to answer that question as well?”
Yes
“I’m gonna assumed that mean you’re not allowed to answered that question,” Hans said, before once again looking at the embryo and found that it’s eye was still staring at him.
Hans shudder, feeling a chill down his spine. “God, that creepy,” He mutter. The scorpion stared back at the eye and the two began to have a staring competition with each other.
For a while, neither of them blink as both of them didn’t have eye lids, which he noted.
After a few more minute of this, Hans moved to left.
The eye moved to the left, still staring straight into his soul.
He moved to right.
The eye moved to the right, following him.
They stared at each other for a few more minutes in silence before Hans broke said silence.
“God, I can’t get over how goddamned creepy you are,” He said, he paused for a moment and start talking again. “Say…can you even hear me? Blink twice if yes, blink once if the answer is no.”
The eye didn’t blink at all and Hans felt as if the eye just kept staring at him as if he was an idiot.
“Oh right, you don’t have a eye lid you can’t blink at all,” He realized, feeling a bit dumb. “Okay…move the ey—“ He paused, hearing the sound of something scurrying around, and a squeak.
“What was that?” Hans questions, now alarm and cautious if something like that damn lizard appeared again. “It can’t be that lizard as I swore I heard a squeak, so at worst it should just be a rat,” He reasons, noticing that he was clicking his claws out of nervousness.
His instinct had him readying his stinger, ready to inject whatever that made the noise full of toxins.
And then it appeared.
He was saw it on a boulder, sniffing the air before noticing him.
It was…A rat. Hans relaxes a bit, after all, it was a rat, it couldn’t do anything to him as his exoskeleton was far too hard for it to break and it was far more he would sting the rat with his sting than the rat even managing to breaking his exoskeleton.
Then the rat was killed before his eyes and he saw that the killer was another rat, but larger and have teeth that look like it could chomp through steel.
It was also currently stared straight at him.
Fuck.

The Elemental Arena
*A Rational-Adjacent litRPG Survival Series.* The time for the trials has come, pitting the mortal species of the galaxy against one another. By completing challenges, clearing dungeons, and defeating rival species, the players may forge themselves stronger and smarter. But only one species will be declared the winner. Earth has finally qualified... ...and participation is mandatory. A twenty-nine year old data entry clerk works together with a group of internationally diverse players to survive. Learning synergistic skills and using teamwork, can humanity achieve an upset? If they don't, their lives are forfeit. Author's note: Chapters will be anywhere from 6k to 10k in words, varying based on the plot beats instead of specific word counts. Realistic actions and teamwork will be important aspects of my story. I'm trying something a little different in writing a realism focused litRPG, hoping to capture the essence of how real people would react to their situation. People are complex and don't always get along. I don't recommend starting the series expecting wish fulfillment tropes just because it's tagged litRPG. It's a survival story with the game settings on Hell difficulty. The plot hasn't gotten there yet, but in the future of the series I want to recreate my nostalgia of forty person raids on Ragnaros, but with the high stakes of boss battles in Sword Art Online. I also love puzzle rooms so expect one of those each book. Warnings: mild PG-rated language, graphic violence and gore, and graphic medical content.

The Complete Alchemyst book 2
Continuation of the Alchemyst book 1 Sometimes to be the good guy, you gotta be the bad guy. This is a story about Louis, a guy that was just trying to get along before he got kidnapped and forced to play cook by a Cartel. He's no Heisenberg, however. Now that he's out of Prison and put a beat down on some of the folks that put him away, he's facing the real pressures of Life as a single-person superpower: Everyone wants to use him for their own purposes. Along the way he's met a few girls, some good, some bad. He's looking to save the world, establish an evil empire, secure a future for the people he considers his, and maybe finally kill that damned superhero that started it all. This is not 'the boys'. Not all superheroes or supervillains are evil, The 'super' world is expanding to include aliens, magic, and the children of ancient deities and legends. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate.

The Rowan Fox, Tail 1: The Missing Children
Deep in the Maple Woods sits a mountain of old. Humans have claimed it and today a city called Redlog covers it from peak to foot. Meet Josei, one of many medicine makers living in the city of red roofs. Hers is the start of many tales, home to a very special fox. Like foxes often do, this one finds himself plenty of trouble. (Thought I would be gone forever did you? I'm back again! This time with a book that actually has an ending. I know because I've written it. I will be editing each chapter then releasing it here as they're done, probably once or twice a week. It's a shorter tale than what I've written before but that was the goal from the start. I really need to learn how to finish a story so this was a big accomplishment for me. I'll be writing The Rowan Fox in several parts instead, short but hopefully sweet.) (This story is a combination of some of my favorite things: folktales, foxes, ancient forests, and feel good slice of life. I hope you like it!)
