Another fun fact is everyone in their guild learned sign language just so they can communicate with her.

This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels.
