As soon as the spar started, Wopoimcl started strafing the king. Wopoimcl than started adding kiting to the strafing, once the king started using a longsword. Wopoimcl then jumped to the sun.

This is where the battle starts for real, I quickly realized, and I activated the defense mode of my armor.

The king's crown hit Wopoimcl, which Wopoimcl shattered. Then, they started swordfighting.

Soon, they were back on the ground, leaving a huge crater on the floor. Wopoimcl stood over the battered form of the king.

"You lose," Wopoimcl said, slowly.

"Rejuvenate."

He quickly healed. I sensed he had also used quite a bit of magic, yet Wopoimcl didn't need anything more than a sword. It was only then that I realized how much superior to a normal jade-category Wopoimcl was.

We soon started walking back to the city-and by walking I mean power walking at Mach one. Within two hours, we were there. We were promptly let in by the guards, and we walked into the palace. It smelled like a big city, yet not like industrial hubs. More of a tourist area with magic.

We soon walked to the innermost residential district. There were a few empty plots of land, and the king gave us one, so I set up my house there. We started walking to the Worldsafers hall.

Bob was walking to the Worldsafers hall in Magicspestone. He had reached peak silver-category and just needed to max out one more power, Immutable Bone, before he reached gold. Immutable bone was at Silver 9 at 99%. He intended for today to be the day he reached gold-category. He'd be the third Magicspestone native to reach gold-category.

He heard some people whispering about Arjun and Aryav. He hated that. It was reminding him of his dead team. He hoped they'd come back, like people had been talking about, but they probably wouldn't.

He arrived at the hall. He took a contract to destroy a gold-category bone-snappster. He was lucky he had found one. Last time he had fought one, Immutable Bone had gone up 94%.

He used his movement power, Wings of Protection. At gold-category, it had gone from creating a shawl of bone to letting him fly. As he flew over the hedge maze to the foothills, he thought about the story Arjun had told him about waking up naked in a hedge maze.

He found it and easily defeated it.

He evolved to gold-category.

It was a great moment. He relished it. He then flew back to the Worldsafers hall.

They guy at the desk gave him the payment, and directed him to an office. A representative sat down in there.

"Bob," She said. ""I have news for you from the society. It is about Arjun."

"What, he said, exited."

She started telling him.
