《One Versus Destiny》Chapter 106: The Party

As soon as the party started, problems cropped up. The first problem was that I hadn't updated the mana ventilation since bronze-category. I had to teleport to a store and buy runes for that. The next problem was that the drinks were only silver-category. I was fine with it since I had been taught to only drink lightly, but Doom wanted heavy drinks. I had to teleport to that store yet again, and buy more runes. The next problem cropped up when a silver-category came and said the house's floodgates didn't meet Ipigal standards.
"What the hell!" Doom roared, spitting fire at the silver-category. I quenched the fire, and for the third time that night, had to buy runes. The cashier was surprised at how many runes I was buying.
Minor problems like that came up, but overall the night passed well. What was weird was that the milk and cookies I had put outside, if any poor children came by, had disappeared within two minutes. I had put enough to last the night, yet someone ate that many?
I put more out, and within two minutes, that was eaten as well.
That kept going on for an hour, when I put the cookies in a place I could check. I was subconsciously watching them, and I saw a puppy with a goatee eat them. Then a baby dragon with a goatee. Whatever as going on, it had a goatee.
I decided to tell Bob.
"Hey, Bob," I said in a low tone, "animals with goatees keep eating milk and cookies I put out for poor children." I had a sinking suspicion of who it was.
When Bob's pefigh came by, he launched into a rant.
"Quegoat! How many times have I told you to not eat all the milk and cookies?"

Quegoat turned into a puppy and looked at Bob like a stray that needed help.
"Quegoat, you know that won't work."
After that, the night proceeded fine. After some time, we went into a corner and started reciting what had happened to us.
"Once we got to Earth," I began, "It was a low-magic planet. To the point that I was able to send someone to the hospital just by flying." Everyone except Wopoimcl, who was almost omniscient, looked shocked that such low-magic placed existed. "Aryav arrived soon. At that point I was exited about silver-category monsters, as the magic was so low, and I was silver seven."
Aryav interjected. "We were leading the world, the Chennai and Delhi branches of the organization we were in. Arjun was in Chennai, and I was in Delhi. We were getting paid a lot by them, and the magic was rising."
I started again. "I found a magic cult in the deepest trench on Earth. They were hell-bent on destruction. I fought the Cult of the Red Jade. In Chennai, we ran around the city. Once they found me, they did a weird call. The whole cult came, and I culled most of them. However, the leader was something else. He reached jade-category at the beginning of the fight. In a trance, I fought the jade-category for months, until I won."
Aryav started the pariah of earth episode. "Arjun was banned from everywhere on Earth. Once he came back, he was gold-category. He created a pothole that swallowed up parts or all of 39 countries and the ocean, which got him unbanned out of fear. He then started helping earth again.
I recounted the rest of the time. "I used a rainbow house in Chennai for my base. Branches of the organization were secretly hoarding diamond-categories who were complete crap, and the diamond-categories fought me once they were reanimated with cores. Cores that kept the universe together. They came from domes that changed people's race and the environment."

I then recalled the environment of the domes.
"I then had to go into a dome. I made it with only half a second, I think, remaining, due to an epiphany. I had to fight anomalies to expand my space, which was easy. The tribulations weren't that hard, but the deviants killed me.
Each deviant was a challenge. The first was a silver-category that almost killed me. It was only because I was experienced fighting deviants I survived the later ones. Before the final deviant, I had to kill a thousand anomalies. You all remember the Magicspestone dragons, right? It was a thousand of those. I used a berserking treasure. It put me out of commission for a couple months, and my pefighs say I would have died had all not worked together to save me.
It was a mana alteration berserker. I came out, and fought the spatial leader, which almost killed me again. It was just extremely overpowered. It finally got me past the wall at gold 3. I had turned 21 on the day I fought it.
I got a spirit domain, Earth's capital, called Naya Venice. It was a combination of rainbow and spatial constructs. Me and Aryav soon left Earth."
"Okay," Said Doom. "We should tell what happened on Glassfay."

The Loyal Ones [Dark Biopunk Fantasy]
TLDR; A slave monster survives horror, war and servitude, while trying to live with himself. Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.
