I knew that killing hundreds of Ipigal's elites would have a huge fallout. The other two operations had gone as planned, with Wopoimcl burning all of one's nodes, and cannon fodder rushing on another to increase its weight, to the point it was six days slow. By that time, people had set up a trap. Its legs dug into the ground when it moved, so someone created a point, where when it fell into the ground, it was burnt by lava.
Ours, however, hadn't gone as planned. And it was Squad G's fault.
We were getting extremely unfair treatment. Just because of Diamond Bombshells, the most powerful area of effect attack I had ever seen, aside from Wopoimcl burning the entire city, which made sense, due to Wopoimcl being a diamond-category.
However, the government treated us like heroes, and we were all rewarded with jade coins. One auxiliary from the giant shifter's team's net worth nonupled. From Earth money, we got the equivalent of 5.2 trillion dollars. Twenty jade coins.
We, though, if we had taken all the scams meant for us, would have lost thirty jade coins each. Ipigal also had to hunt for the traitors, and I was involved.
