I followed the familiar face out of the market and to a building on the side of town, it was a guild hall, the War Guild Hall to be exact. I waited outside watching the door, the familiar face walked back out with his party, I walked after them but tripped on a rock and fell over.

“The hell”

I fell face first into the dusty path.

“Well, if it isn’t that weak human”

The familiar face I was following was now looking down at me, I looked up to see the Bull Demi-Human that beat me half to death and his party.

“You want to pick another fight with the Blood Horns weakling, Carn will finish the job this time”

The leaders name was Carn then huh.

“I’m a little impressed you managed to get up to the third floor, you might be useful to us.”

Useful? What was he going to try and pull this time?

“Look kid, we have a quest to kill a Deer-Bear, we will give you a small reward if you help us out”

Was he seriously asking this? They are easily going to try and kill me or use me as bait…wait!? A Deer-Bear, I know the perfect one.

“Huh? A Deer-Bear? Sure, I can help, I know where one is, as long as there is a reward”

“Boss, are you serious?”

“Yeah, he’ll only slow us down”

Carn’s other party members didn’t seem to thrilled with him asking me to join their quest.

“Quiet you two, will you show us where it is? You will be rewarded, I promise”

Carn silenced his party and gave me the biggest fake smile I had ever seen.

“Sure, follow me, its in the forest”

I walked towards the forest with Carn and his party walking behind me, I caught a quick glance of them, they were giving each other a smug smile and trying to hide their evil chuckles.

“You sure are a mature human, I hope you understand we were just testing you out on the first floor, to think you’d make it all the way up the third floor is just incredible”

Carn splurted out a load of shit, was he trying to make me drop my guard? Did he think I was that stupid!

“It’s just over here”

We made our way to the opening that the Deer-Bear was trapped.

“Where?”

Carn looked around the opening but couldn’t see anything

“Over here, look, it’s trapped”

I looked over the pit fall hoping that Deer-Bear Vnaa trapped was still there…It was, great, my plan for revenge is all but complete.

“In this hole, really? How did it get caught in this?”

Carn came over and looked at the Deer-Bear, his party stood to either side of him.

“Thank you for the help kid, but this is where ….Whoah!”

I gave Carn a hard kick to the back and he fell into the hole.

“Carn!”

His party members shouted out as they watched their leader fall in the hole and into the Deer-Bears mouth

“You little…”

*Bang

I picked up a stick and smacked two of the four party members, the stick splintered and the two fell into the hole.

“Get him!”

One of the other party members charged at me with his sword in the air, I ducked under the sword and shoved him into the hole, the last Bull Demi-Human looked on in horror, I gave him a wicked smile, I could feel just how psychotic I looked, the Bull Demi-Human fell over and dropped his sword, how pathetic.

“Yes! Kill Him! Kill Him!”

Huh? That voice was back, I looked around to see where it had come from, the Bull Demi-Human saw me loose focus of him and got up, he ran past me towards the way we came, he was right next to the hole.

“Where do you think you’re going!”

I picked up a rock and threw it as hard as I could

*Bang

“Arrrr”

Bullseye, I hit him square in the back of the head, I could see the blood starting to seep out. The Bull Demi-Human lost his balance and fell into the hole with his other party members.

“Help me! Help me! I’m sorry! I was just following Carn’s orders”

Did he not fall in?

I walked over to the hole, the last one of Carn’s party members was clinging onto the edge of the hole, his face petrified with fear, he knew he was about to die.

“I didn’t want to do it! Carn made me! Please, I’ll give you what ever you want! Just pull me up!”

What a low life piece of shit!

“What do you have that is worth your life”

I looked down at him, I wanted to know how much he valued his life

“I have money and equipment, I’ll even join your party! Just pull me up!”

Join my party? I already had a bee I didn’t trust and with Vnaa now, I wasn’t hurting for party members.

“What else you got, how much do you value your pathetic life?”

I leant down and gave a wicked smile at him,

“Uhh, I don’t have anything else! Just pull me up! You’re not a murderer are you!”

He was starting to get tired, his arms where shaking, he was about to let go

“Please!”

And just like that, his grip gave way and he fell

“Huh?”

I managed to grab him, he let out a surprise yelp, but this is what I wanted, I pulled him up a little just enough so I could look him in the eyes

“Karma’s a bitch”

I let him go and watched him fall, that hope he had was now filled with betrayal.

I watched them in the pit, their arms and legs getting torn off, their screams of pain filled the air, the smell of iron, no, blood, filled my nose, I caught the eye sight of the one I dropped, I could tell how angry he was, the feeling of hopelessness had overcome him. I stood there, just watching, watching these pieces of shit that beat me half to death, die, I watched them being eaten and screaming out in pain, I felt…nothing, no, that’s not true, I felt a sense of justice, that karma had finally caught up to those who had put me through hell. I turned my back to the pit of blood and torn body parts.

“What the”

I felt like I was going to vomit, I ran over to a tree and leant on it

“Bllaahhhh”

I vomited over the trunk of the tree.

“What the hell, why do I feel sick? I just felt relieved that I was still alive, they were no doubt going to kill me, I had to kill them”

I was vomiting and crying, nothing was coming up though, it was just water, everything else had already come up.

“This isn’t me just killing someone, I had too! I had to kill them or they would have killed me! I needed revenge too! Why does it feel so sickening! I would do the exact same thing every time!”

I fell to my knees, I was exhausted from vomiting, I had my head in my knees and tried to stop crying.

“Is it because I’ve become what I’ve hated? I have given into the true nature of a human…So what! I killed my sister and should have killed that piece of shit Raoul, years ago! This isn’t any different, anyone that gets in my way will die!”

I shouted out, I pulled myself up and wiped my mouth and eyes.

*Crack

“Huh? Whose there?”

Two small figures fell out of a tree, they looked like white foxes, no, Demi-Human white foxes, they wore a mauve coloured Kimono and had cuts all over them.

“What do you two want”

I grabbed a stick and put my guard up, did they just see me kill those pieces of shit, damn it!

“H-help”

“Huh?”

One of the girls reached out to me, she had a burn on her arm and her sister was spasming.

“Why? What can you give me?”

I’m still not helping anyone unless I get something in return

“Here”

“You want me to come over there?”

I slowly stepped towards the injured girl, she held her arm out and grabbed my leg

“Hey! What are you doing”

“Skill forcibly unlocked-Egg Yolk (UC), Skill forcibly unlocked-Egg Maturation (R), Skill forcibly unlocked-Egg Reform (U)———Egg Skill Tree Completed-Egg Master Unlocked”

“Huh? Did you do that? I don’t need any of these skills though”

Egg skills, why would I need that? I looked down to see the Demi-Human Fox girl had become unconscious

“Damn it, I can’t just leave you here, even if you gave me useless skills, give me your bag”

I took the bag that she was holding, she had all sorts of medicinal herbs in them, but more importantly she has Aloe Vera Herbs, small glass viles and Chamomile Flowers, along with leaves, fig leaves maybe?

I can just break the Aloe Vera Herb in half and use the oil to heal it, but with my first aid skill and the burn looking worse, this might be better

“This goes here and this goes in your mouth, bandage this burn up and done”

I attended to the two girls, the burn was already completely healed and the other girl had stopped shaking

“T-thank you”

The girl that had the burn woke up, she stood up and grabbed her sister and the bag.

“W-wait sister”

The other Demi-Human fox had now awoken, she grabbed my hand and nodded to me.

“Skill forcibly unlocked-Chi Manipulation (U)”

“Chi Manipulation? Hey! Whats this…huh?”

I regained my focus on where the two Demi-Human Foxes where, but they had disappeared.

“That was weird, at least it got my mind off from killing those pieces of shit, I still feel sick though, but at the same time, I know what I have to do now”

I started walking back to town, those two Demi-Human Fox Girls were weird but they didn’t cause me any trouble and I got free skills as well.

“Master Udon you’re back, is everything ok?”

Miko asked me as I walked back into the room, it looked like she had got herself a bag and sold some of our items.

“I’m fine, we’ll leave for the fourth floor tomorrow”

I kept walking past her, I showed no emotion, something inside of me had finally snapped, after that sense of karma had finally caught up, it feels like I had lost any feeling at all. I had a new goal, a goal to get back to my own world and make sure that everyone that ever made me feel like shit would pay with their life.

“Ok, I, uhh, when did you get those skills?”

Why was Miko always looking at my skills! It must be apart of her plan, to keep tabs on me so she knows how strong I am, I glared at Miko, I didn’t care at that moment, Miko turned away a little frightened

“I-its ok, you d-don’t need to say, I-I sold half of our Wolf horns except the big red ones, half of the claws except the red ones, 1 of the Blue striped Horned-Back Wolf fur and 2 undead rat skulls, I got 10 Silver Shark Coins, and another Medium Leather Adventurers Bag.”

I zoned Miko’s voice out, what was happening to me? I felt sick, but, somehow refreshed, had I finally succumb to that voice inside my head? Had I succumb too revenge?
