“You misunderstand Lady Miko, as much as I hate to admit the help of a mere human, it was this human over there that allowed me to win that fight” Yuki let her guard down showing she meant no harm.

“That power he granted me, I see why The Creator chose him” Quiet you old hag, I can’t let them know about my Ghost Seed

“I didn’t do it to save you, they would have tried to kill me and my comrades after they slaughtered your Barbegazi, just give me the Ice Dragon Materials and send me to the seventh floor”

“Sir Udon, what about the quest we accepted” Damn it! I totally forget about that

“Leave it, it’s an open quest it won’t reflect on us”

“As you wish, please go gather the Ice Dragon Blade” Yuki called out to one of her Barbegazi

“Ice Dragon Blade?” She said materials, I was planning to create another familia with it since Miko was no longer going to travel with us

“Yes, I was planning on given you the Ice Dragon Materials but, I’m assuming you want to create another familiar am I correct”

“It is as I say, I will give you some much needed words human, do not let Lady Miko go, she will be a huge help in your future” What is this!

“Yuki, it’s ok, Master Udon has made up his mind, it is my fault for not standing with him” Miko bowed her head to Yuki in gratitude at her suggestion

“The blade” The Barbegazi handed me the blade and went back to Yuki

“Now teleport us to the seventh floor” I wanted to leave this trash floor as quickly as I could

“If that is what you truly want, I will then” Yuki came over to me and held her arms out

“Wait!” Vnaa shouted out

“What is it Vnaa” I’d never heard Vnaa shout like that, it sounded angry

“You are not leaving Big Sister Miko behind! She helps us Papa Udon! I will not forgive you!” What!? I know Vnaa is young, but did she not understand she wasn’t on our side just before

“Vnaa, Miko betrayed us”

“No she didn’t! She didn’t want to fight her friend!”

“Vnaa, don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll have fun with Master Udon” Miko walked over and smiled at Vnaa

“No! I want Big Sister Miko with us!” Damn it Vnaa! She’s like a kid having a tantrum

“Sir Udon, I do believe Rival Miko will be a big help to us, I also don’t want her to leave our team” Umi was now speaking her opinion, what the hell! Miko betrayed us!

“Umi…” Miko said softly looking at Umi, I thought those two hated each other

“I can’t…” I looked Vnaa and Umi in the eyes, hope and sadness was bottling behind them, damn it! If they are that connected to Miko I guess I have to take her, however, this proves that familiars aren’t obedient to their creator, I’ll leave them together once I past the twelfth floor, I don’t need a team that will side with a traitor

“Fine, Miko lets go”

“Really” Miko smiled, tears were rolling down her face again

“You don’t have to if you don’t want to, I still don’t trust you, but these two want you around”

“No, I’m coming” Miko rubbed the tears off her face and joined the group

“You have a lot of work Lady Miko, I have much doubt he will see you” Yuki whispered something to Miko, just six more floors and then I’ll be rid of this ‘team’.

“Teleport seventh Floor!” Yuki shouted out, it was the same as the gem teleportation, we arrived at the stairs of the seventh floor.

“All right, lets get going” I immediately started walking towards the town, it was the biggest town I had seen so far, it looked like the whole floor was jus this single town.

“Thank you” Vnaa waved bye to Yuki and walked next to me

“Thanks for the help” Umi nodded at Yuki and started waking behind me

“Lady Miko, a word please”

“Sure, what is it” I waited for Miko and Yuki to stop talking

“This should come in handy” Yuki handed Miko a bracelet that appeared to made out of ice, it had a white gem in the middle of it

“Is this an Artificial Guild Gem?” Yuki gave Miko an Artificial Guild Gem? Why?

“I don’t believe that humans Gem is accepted in the human world is it” Yuki pointed to my Crystal Clear Gem

“It has caused some problems” Miko told Yuki, it wasn’t my fault! I still don’t even know why my Gem is Crystal Clear.

“You can use this gem to go into guilds and accept the quests, when the quest is completed all parties with a Guild Gem are rewarded the Guild Points, you are of course a White No-Ranker until you join a guild” That did seem like the best plan.

“Thank you Yuki” Miko gave Yuki a hug and ran back over to us, Yuki waved goodbye but not without giving me one last death glare.

“This floor is a safe floor right?” I asked Miko

“Yep, it’s named after the town, Yasumi Town, it’s the first player made safe floor. Due to its small size, players easily cut down the monsters on this floor including the Ancient Floor Monster the Dodo Bird. Low level players meet here for guild and faction meetings, after going through floor 6 a lot of players stay on this floor to recover, that is why the market is rather big and they put a hot spring in the middle of town.” Recovery, might be good to rest up a little before we start to head up.

“Two rooms including meals will be 1 Silver Shark Coin for three nights” The lady at the inn told us, this time Miko didn’t argue with me. I got a single bed room while the girls got a three bed room.

“Umm, Master Udon, do you mind if we talk” Miko asked me sheepishly, I had nothing to say to her though.

“I’m going to have a nap, you girls do what you want” I headed into my room and shut the door, I could here the girls mumble outside my room

“Don’t worry Rival Miko, this will pass I’m sure of it” It sounded like Umi mumbling something, I heard the door to their room shut, it was opposite mine.

“Far out, this is starting to become such a pain! Once I get past the twelfth floor I can let those girls go, they can do what they want, if I can master this Ghost Seed, I won’t need anyone else” I fell onto my bed, I was exhausted, it seems all I have done lately is argue with Miko and fight overly strong monsters

“Damn it! Why can’t I be one of those OP people that get reincarnated in anime and manga!” I shouted into my pillow, I was remembering what The Creator had given me.

“Defeat all The Evil 8 and I’ll grant your greatest wish…what a load of BS, why can’t he defeat them himself” I flipped over onto my back and looked at the wooden ceiling.

“If I was to actually accomplish that, I’ll need more than me, I can’t have those girls in my party though, they are too much work! Slaves exist though, I could probably buy some and create familiars in the process, make a little army” I thought about a plan to eradicate these Evil 8.

“I’ll need to set up a village though to act as my base in order for this to work, I can’t just keep travelling through the floors without a base. If I can find a floor that has no major towns or cities that means it would rarely be visited and not many players would be around, that would work, these lower floors are to small to set up a base, someone would stumble upon it eventually and plus, that ‘god’ Neptune is trying to control the lower floors. I should try and ask Miko if such a place exist without telling her why” I drifted off to sleep thinking of my village plan

*Knock Knock

“Master Udon, we brought you dinner”

“Huh? Oh, you can leave it at the door” Was that Miko? Did they already have dinner?

“Papa Udon, you need to eat so we’re coming in” Vnaa was there too

*Bang Bang

“What the hell are you doing!”

“The doors locked” Umi was the one banging on the door

“Of course its locked! Just give me a second” I got up and unlocked the door

“Here you go” Vnaa was the one that passed me my food, but then she and the others walked in

“We got two rooms for a reason you know, your room is much bigger then this, why don’t you hang out there”

“No thanks” Umi said making herself comfy on my bed, she was starting to becoming a real smart ass

“Arrr” I put the food on the desk and sat down

“Miko, do you know of any floors that are weak and quiet that not many people visit” I took a mouth full of the fish stew

“Umm I believe there is a floor like that, it’s the seventeenth floor, it isn’t home to any faction gods and there’s a town or village rather, that has almost no stores and the floor itself only has one inn, the monsters are quite weak as well so not many players visit it, why do you ask?” That sounds perfect, I could even build my own village if the villagers didn’t want me in their village

“Master Udon?”

“Huh, oh, no reason, just seeing when the next safe floor is”

“Oh, that would be the twelfth floor, but it’s just hot springs that are used for recovery after the fight with the floor boss” Thats new information. I ended up finishing my dinner, while the girls just sat in my room in silence, it seemed something had shifted within our group, like an eerie quiet was always around us, obedient my ass, they were all still mad that I was ready to leave the traitor Miko behind. I finished my dinner and told the girls to let me sleep, they left my room and went to their there’s.

“I need to talk with you soon Master Udon” Miko asked again, what did we possibly have to discuss,

“Whatever just let me sleep” She shut the door and I went to sleep.
