Ten minutes later...
Alright, this all I can carry in my bag. And I'm still talking to myself. Let's review what we have: we have 7 medkits, three aspirin bottles, and bandages, also morphine. I can head back now; how much time has passed? This should at least took ten minutes to loot all of this. Alright, time to get the hell of here. I zipped up the bookbag and started to walk out of the front door; some guy called out to me.
Stranger: Stop right there, turn around slowly, and drop that pink bookbag. Elijah: You can have the bag. Stranger: So I don't have to shoot you then. That's good; you know how to follow instructions. Elijah: It just common decency; I have no reason to be hostile towards you. Also, you kinda have to be polite to a man with a gun. Stranger: Smart. Elijah: Do you want me to hand over the bag or what? Stranger: Kick it over here. I kicked the bag over to him.
Damn it, I can't see him; his face is blurry!
Stranger: Got some excellent medical supplies in here. Good job, kid; you made my life a lot easier. What's this sticky note about? Oh, that room must have all of the drugs in there. Where is it? Elijah: It's at the end of the left hallway; you can't miss the metal door on the right. Stranger: Thanks for the information. Hey kid, why you keep squinting your eyes at me!? Elijah: My bad, sir, you see, I'm visually impaired. So I have a tough time seeing this far away. Stranger: Oh, okay. That's a nice looking bat, you got there. Slide that over here as well. Elijah: Well, sir, it's kinda tricky to slide it over to you because of the bat's weight. I have to keep kicking it to you; that means getting closer. And I don't want you to be threatened by me. Stranger: You look like a strong fella, so just toss it over here. Elijah: I'm going to slowly pick up the bat and throw it to you, don't shoot me!

I'm going to force him to catch the bat, then I'll use my gun on him. But the most significant risk is getting shot dead if I miss. It's already hard to see him, but I can see his body. It doesn't need to be a headshot. If I shoot him in the chest, he has to collapsed to the floor, but what if he shoots me while on the ground? Then he can cripple me, then even if I kill him, I will be just like a horse with a broken leg. To hell with it; if I die, then I die. I can't hesitate to take someone's life!
I tossed the bat to him as soon he's was in motion to catch the bat. I draw my gun and shot my gun twice. The man collapsed to the floor; I sprinted to him and kicked away his gun. Stranger: Didn't think you had the nerve to shoot your gun at me, kid! Be honest with me, do you really wear glasses?! Elijah: I actually do, but I can manage without my glasses. But what I said was right, so I wasn't lying. Stranger: I got killed by a kid that can barely see. I didn't expect to get killed this early on. I thought at least I would survive longer than this. On the first day of the apocalypse, well, technically, on the third day of the apocalypse. Elijah: The third day?! The world went to shit today! Stanger: The government tried to keep this on the down-low, so chaos won't break out.
I had friends that told me that they actually saw zombies two days ago. So they got prepared and told me the plan for us to go to Hawaii. Elijah: You were about to travel cross country to get to Hawaii?! Stranger: Well, the goal was to go on my private plane back at home, then go to the state of Washington and travel from there. I was getting meds, so I have something valuable to trade. But my plan was foiled by you. Elijah: Why are you telling me this?! Stranger: You're just a kid; I had a son about your age. I feel like I need to give you advice and wisdom for some reason before I bleed out to death. Can you provide this dinosaur one last wish? The age-old middle man props up himself against the wall, ready to give his final words. Elijah: I will listen to what you have to say.

Stranger: Here's my advice to you if you want to survive through this apocalypse. These are my ten commandments; Have a group that you can trust, stay in tip-top shape, you need to work out continuously. Have someplace that you can lock down and defend and always be ready to move somewhere else if you encounter too much danger. Humans will be the most dangerous thing you can experience. So follow the three-strike method.
I have a Youtube channel that can explain all of this. I don't think I can finish explaining everything in great detail. Elijah: What's the channel's name? Stranger: Dr. Zombie Apocalypse. I have over two thousand videos on there. Also, I have a friend who does a zombie radio show to give you tons of advice and seconds opinions on topics. His name is Neverman; look him up. You will find his show. Have that one special person that you'll live for.
Always move forward with your life no matter what happens; just keep on surviving; you can lose all the people you care about; it's your job to keep pushing forward and carry their memory with you; you have to survive this apocalypse and tell their stories. Always be aware of your surroundings at all times. Enjoy the small moments; there will be good moments in this dark time. Avoid danger if you can, don't take unnecessary risks, always have friends, and don't make enemies. And for my last commandment, if someone gets bitten, be the one that kills them, not the virus, don't let them suffer.
Eli: I will follow your advice, I promise. Stranger: Damn, I really am going to die! Well, I guess it's not that bad; my death could be a lot worse. Hey, kid, who's the special girl? Eli: What are you talking about? Stranger: Kid, I been around for over half a century; I seen everything and done everything. I can tell when a young fella like yourself is in love. It's quite apparent.
Eli: Well, she's not my girl yet; I haven't told her how I feel still. I'm looking for her; that's my main goal finding her and telling her how I feel. But I'm sticking with my friends because finding her won't be an easy task. Stranger: Once you see, just yell, I love you. Trust me, plans don't go according to plan no matter how many times you planned it. Also, don't kill yourself if things don't go as planned. Eli: I can't promise that! I chuckled while scratching the back of my head. A loud thud from the backroom by the zombies. They continuously keep banging on the metal door. The middle-aged man can barely keep his eyes open; his bloody hands rest on his wounds on his torso.
Stranger: You should get going. You don't want to be zombie chow. Eli: I want to know your name! Before I leave, my name is Elijah! Stranger: My name is of no importance, but if you must know, then my name is Luke. I wish you luck on your long journey now; get going, Elijah!

What will he do after the life he knew was uprooted and taken away from him? Will the 'demon magic' that caused his exile from the Elven Tribe bring him into a slow descent into madness? Book 2 description: Having found a life for himself outside of A'vetheas, a family, enrolled to a good school, and a potential romantic partner, John Sarvod continues on with his life the best he could, carrying himself forward, until... He messes it all up again. This time, however, it isn't because of his magic. It was by his own demerit. What is the cause of despair? Find out in Consignor Book 2. Old description (Without spoiler) John Sarvod, user of the most powerful healing spell [Heal], the rare ability to heal and recover all injuries, is the only human that lives in the Elven Tribe. Though he was gifted with [Heal], he could not cast any magic other than his one and only [Heal]. Aside from his current training to become a royal scribe, he is known to all elves as the ‘Healer of A’vetheas’ and had gained a certain amount of respect from them due to how much he works. But life for him in the Elven Tribe, A’vetheas wasn't never always like this. Because he was human, and that the Elves have isolated themselves from the outside world, his presence initially was not welcomed by the elves that thinks highly of him today. It was all thanks to the Elven Queen who brought him in, and the Elven Princess, Raina Valindra Eridi, that he could reach this day. But things changed when the Raina that he so adored used the teleportation device for a small date with him, where they met with danger that the [Heal] that he relied all this time could not save him from… In his desperate attempts to save Raina, John ended up committing a taboo of the elves. As for his punishment when he returned to A’vetheas? That was just the beginning of him, continuing the path that he had inevitably taken prior to the life he had before he lived in A’vetheas. This is a story of a not too average person end up becoming something that he could have never imagined. A monster? A demon? A god? Only time will tell. It is just a matter of time that John Sarvod would embrace his true self. Content Warning because I want to have flexibility, and maybe it gets overwhelming at times. I have a backlog already, this story won't be dropped. Edited: romance tag to action tag, story has more or less of both, but yeah. There's slice of life tagged in because my story progresses not too quickly (by my opinion) I like to take things slow, I suppose. :3
