The guard told another guard to bring the medics and rushed towards the bleeding person
"Please calm down sir the medics will arrive soon what happened to you?"
The man opened his mouth but before he could say something the ground begin to shake and a loud sound of running could be heard.
The guard looked up and at the horizon and all he saw was a cloud of smoke and four-legged and two-legged monsters rushing towards the village
The guard was immediately alarmed and ran back to the city wall and rang the bells and shouted at the people there to immediately evacuate.
When the people inside the city heard the loud tolls of the bells they dropped what they were doing and immediately ran towards the city gates on the opposite side of the place where the bells were rung.
On the city walls, the rushing monsters became visible to the guards.
It was like a black fog and when the guards saw this fog of monsters they realized that they had absolutely no chance of standing up against these monsters.
When these soldiers were still despairing a bulky man with a grim look stepped up and raised his broad sword and slammed it into the ground.
"A rampage" the man whispered
"Attention soldiers today we are going to fight with our lives on the line just so your families can make it to safety so we shall fight to stop these mi stars to the best of our abilities those who wish to fight and defend your people please step forward!"
The soldiers all looked at each other before a middle-aged man in armour stepped forward.
"I've got a newborn child and a wife so I'm gonna do whatever I can to protect them I volunteer"

The soldiers looked towards the middle-aged man and one by one stepped forward to volunteer themselves.
The commander looked at all of them and picked a scrawny-looking soldier and commanded him
"Take the fastest horse here and rush to the grand duke's Mansion to In form him about the monster Rampage from Mania forest"
"Yes, commander!"
The man rushed towards the stable and picked a healthy-looking horse with black fur and rushed away to the other side of the wall.
"Everone in Formation!"
The commander shouted, all the soldiers quickly got into the Formation they had practised and raised their swords to their chests
"ATTACK!"
The soldiers rushed into the horde of monsters in a bar formation and clashed together.
~
Shouts were heard everywhere as the soldiers had fallen or been severely injured by the monsters at the middle of this massacre a mutilated corpse was left there, and the only way to identify this person was the broad sword left behind with the mark of the grand Duke on it marking it as the commander.
The city was not doing any better because the wooden walls were destroyed and the destruction of the city could be seen showing the severity of this attack with a hole at the end showing that not only did the monsters attack this city but continued forwards causing destruction to other cities in the Grand Dukes territory.
~~
In front of the Grand Duke's mansion, a black-furred horse with a scrawny man in knights' armour could be seen riding towards the gates of the mansion.
"Halt state your name and purpose!"
Said the same guard who had met William previously when William returned
"I am the city guard of Salem city and our city has been attacked by an abnormally large rampage I need to meet the Grand Duke"

When the guard heard this he frowned and asked the city guard to follow him towards the Grand Dukes' study.
"Master we have been contacted by Salem city and they say it's an emergency"
"Let them enter"
The guard opened the door to the study and stepped aside.
The city guard stepped inside and did a polite greeting first to show respect.
"Master Salem city was recently attacked by a very large rampage and I've been sent here to inform you about it!"
The guard said hurriedly.
When Albert heard this his face immediately became grim and he hurriedly stood up and went towards the training grounds.
"Attention! Gather all soldiers"
~
"We have a rampage we must deal with it has come from Mania forest so it's heading towards our lands we need to prepare for it and send reinforcement towards any city within the My territory be Prepared"
William at this time was also training with the soldiers when he heard his father suddenly rush out of the entrance and shout for attention and explain about the rampage
'I've previously read about what a rampage is, it's when monsters start in forests or a natural habitat start attacking civilisation outside of its territory and start rampaging, therefore, getting its name but Mania forest wasn't I just there, lucky for me I recovered in time or I might have died anyway even with the emergency recovery'
'Well this has nothing to do with me and this is pretty important so I'll just leave it to the professionals'
William thought while walking away towards the exit
"William"
'Oh no I have a bad feeling'
William turned around and saw his dad was looking at him
"Yes, dad?"
"Come with me to my study"
William could only nod and suppress this bad feeling rising in his heart and follow Albert to his office.
~
Inside the office William's dad sat in front of him, looking intently at William
'Damn the atmosphere here is so thick I can basically cut it with a knife
"When you were In Mania forest did you discover anything weird about it?"
"No, it was normal"
"Do you know that the existence in Mania forest is something even the emperor cannot defeat and we have a peace treaty with that monster in Mania forest"
William looked toward his dad with a surprised face
"Even the emperor cant defeat it! Then why hasn't it attacked the empire yet!?"
"Even if the emperor cant defeat it alone humans can defeat it using numbers but we will also have a lot of losses that might cripple the empire that's why we created a treaty with the overlord of the forest"
"How did you even create a treaty with a monster?"
"Well you see William this is not public information and only the top powers have this knowledge as the son of the Grand Duke I believe you should know it"
"..."
"The monster or 'The Overlord of Mania forest' is a monster that has broken through the barrier of humans and reached the level above rare rank"
'Oh I know that'
Obviously William cant say that so he said
"What the barrier of human power! And a being stronger than a rare rank! how is that even possible!"
Albert let William calm down
"So dad do you mind asking what the treaty's conditions were.”

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
