《Supreme Empire》Chapter 21

William tried to move this new type of mana in his hands outwards and he succeeded.
"Huh that was easier than I thought it would be"
[Well what you did was indeed meant to be near impossible but for you has advanced your brain power to rate rank where let me remind you is impossible to achieve because you are limited by the amount of brain power you can have by the race you are born and it naturally increases to its potential and stops but you can consciously improve it]
"Okay now that the issue is fixed now I need to figure out how to change the shapes of these metal bars hmmm"
"Let's try changing the properties of the mana into something hot enough to melt metal and use normal mana to try to shape it the way I want it... but to shape it I need to hold it to transfer the mana and I can't hold hot melted metal that's suicide"
"Emma is it possible for me to have 2 different manas with two different properties on both hands?"
[I don't know William no one was as crazy as you in the past to even think much less attempt such a thing so you are on your own sorry William]
"Alright I guess there's no harm in an attempt"
[...]
William Started focusing on his left wrist first and changed its properties to similar levels of heat that magma had in the past in his past life and made it go outwards of his palm.
Although he was afraid that this heat would cause self harm his worries were unfounded by Emma
[Why would your mana hurt you?]
"Makes sense"
If someone else was there they would see a person in the middle of a spacious warehouse with a dark red hue surrounded by hints of orange hue giving immense amounts of heat of William's left palm William himself was completely unaffected by such intense heat but unfortunately for William, a certain white-haired person with a butler uniform who was peeking inside was clearly not as unaffected as William so alfred quickly left profusely sweating a near black face.

"Alright so the actual heat is limited to the red hue but unfortunately, the heat is too much for me to completely control and the part I can't control is being let out which is represented by this orange hue, well this is the best of my abilities as far as control goes, but now its time to attempt doing the exact opposite"
William decided his attention which was now somewhat easier thanks to his advancement and focused on his right wrist where his mana was stored and moved it towards his right palm where he slowly changed its properties to the absolute opposite temperature of the mana on his left hand.
*Aaaaa*
"Shit"
[William stop it its enough]
Even with Emma's warning William didn't stipend and kept baring g the clash of temperatures that was happening outside of his body and William started losing control of the mana in his palm.
William noticed and went through his choices and realized that he had no other choice but to stop supplying mana which he did.
But that, unfortunately, didn't stop the mana already present in his hands so William could only think of one solution to the problem.
William raised his palms above his head where at this point he could already feel the temperatures creating a weird balance of sorts as if but were opposite temperatures.
Before William clasped both his palms together in Hope of the two meeting each other and evaporating he had a sudden idea.
"If these two are absolute opposites won't I be able to create a sort of balance between the two like yin and yang of my previous world!"
"It is hot and cold!!"
William clapped his hands but instead of letting them go wild on each other he used the remaining control he still had and tried mixing the two elements in a way where they exist but with each other.

"What if I make it flow in a process as I put it into a layered flow like flames first with pure mana in the middle with cold air in the end"
William started to unpropertise a part of the heat and cold on both hands and tried to make a connection between the two separate manas by connecting only the part where pure mana is using his palms.
The two pure mana connected with each other and formed a sort of balance between the cold and heat making it calm each other down using the mana as a bridge.
"Okay done now I need to check if my theory will actually work"
William walked towards a metal bar and picked it up and started using the heat mana to cover it resulting in it being melted in his hands what should have caused William a lot of pain was offset by the cold air protecting his palms which then William William used pure mana to shape it into a circular ball.
"I have succeeded!"
[Yes I deed you have succeeded in doing something no human has managed to do]
"Okay so with all of this now all I need is to build the structure of it but I have a problem there are a lot of things I will need to provide with different elements of mana"
[Well you don't need to do that all at once so I don't think that will be an issue but I think you should focus on your mana reserves]
*knock* * knock*
"Young master it's time for lunch"
'Oh it's already been quite a while huh looks like I lost count of the time I spent here'
"Yes I'll be out in a bit"
~
"So young master I hope you don't mind but I wonder what you were doing in there?" Alfred asked
"Oh it was nothing much just trying a thing before I start you don't need to know about it tho"
Alfred simply nodded and continued eating alongside the guards
"Also next do not disturb me while I'm in there if I'm hungry I will naturally come out you don't need to inform me about it"
"Okay young master"
After lunch, while William stood up and was walking back he heard the conversation of the two guards that came with him.
"Oh man, why do we need to take care of this kid he clearly is wasting metal and time!"
"Your right but all we can do is follow the master's orders to protect the young master"
"Ya, but what are we doing here instead of out there fighting those damned beasts!"
"If you wanna fight you can go" William interjected
The guards who were discussing turned around and looked a bit shocked.
"Please forgive me, young master!"
Both the guards said.
"No need You're indeed right you guys need to fight monsters instead of being here so you should go"
William said with a smile on his face though inside he thinking
'Yes! That's it go away and stop bothering me by being here!'
The guards looked at each other and after some deliberation, they respectfully bowed and went towards their horses to leave
'Good now there's only Alfred who is left here, I need privacy for the things I'm doing and I can't have them being here which risks the chance of what I'm doing being exposed and causing a lot of problems for me

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.
