Chapter 10
Your time with Gisbert and Dallin was all in all quite nice, and while you had to endure Questions upon Questions most of them didn't really annoy you, in Fact you can't even remember most of them, which is somewhat strange, but then you certainly won't look a gifted Horse in the Mouth. And so the Weeks passed by a bit faster than they usually do, and seeing as you can still sleep in your own Bed you can admit that everything is indeed quite fine, or well, it could at least be a lot worse.
Yet whenever you're with your Parents, you realise that neither your Father nor your Mother seem as happy as they were before, which makes you feel a little guilty, but even Today after Weeks to observe it you can't find a way to get rid of the issue, for even now you aren't quite sure what the problem is. So you currently try to focus on getting your Mind back in working order, and that goes better than you first feared it would, especially considering how the frequency of Memory loss you had to deal with suddenly declined.
It's fascinating how much not thinking or focusing on finding out the problem increased your mental stability, though what it implies isn't all that great, for at least your own reasoning has led you to believe that a specific subject is actually repressed by your Mind, or in other Words you now have an exploitable Weakness. That is of course a step over just being unacceptable, but you're unsure of what you can do to remove it when just thinking about it can cause you Memory loss.
If it's brought up in the future then there would be the risk that you could forget whole conversations or incidents of importance, and that without ever realising it, or if someone finds out they could try to get you to forget Informations to buy themselves some time. It's all very problematic, though there are at least some things that you could try, for one the minimum of not actually searching for the problem, and for number two, making a List to narrow down what you can't talk or think about.

You soon acknowledge that you will have to accept some help for that, and you decide after a moment to choose Gisbert and Dallin for the Job of helping you out, for what good would it do to ask a Stranger or your Parents for the simple writing of a List. No, especially with the King's visit that wouldn't be acceptable, but luckily the two of them seem to like your Idea, especially Gisbert seems delighted by the prospect of finally getting you off his Back.
From there it was all going rather fast seeing as the old Man already had everything of interest written down to find a Cure for your State, so you find yourself reading different Lists for a few more Hours until no more Memories were erased by doing so. A Member of your Family has died, and that is essentially the problem as it turns out, how you were supposed to guess that is beyond you, for you're simply not someone that has to suppress Memories about something as silly as death, but it appears that this assumption of yours was wrong.
While it's nice that you can at least somewhat avoid a Situation that would make problems it's also quite frustrating that not even a Name can be said without it affecting your Mind to some degree, it's like a Magic Word that can screw you over in the wrong Situation, so yes, it's indeed quite troubling. But it is what it is, and at least you now have a Bandage for it to not affect your Life on a Day to Day basis anymore.
With the List in Hand, you make your way to your Mother's Chamber, seeing as she is contrary to your Father unlikely to be involved in any important matter at the moment. The Rock is more lively than usual, and the Royal Knights make for quite the sight, though they are scattered all over the place, which diminishes their presence a good Deal. Yet the depths of the Rock gives the same Image as always, and you're happy about it.

You can feel her Chamber a good while before you see it, and with the Corridors carrying the Vibrations so comparatively far, you also have a clear enough Image to know that your Siblings are there as well, it really must be quite exhausting being a Guard in this part of the Castle. Making your way past the dozen Guards, you open the Door and silently as to not disturb your Siblings, make your way to your Mother and explain the List to her, before asking if your Father would be busy right now.
And sadly he was, so for now you will have to wait a few Hours before you can see him and make your requests for the future, but that's fine with it being well, for the future and as such very far down on your List of Priorities. It's still interesting to know that your Father and the King have such long discussions, and you think a bit about what Topic they might be talking about Day in Day out, though you didn't think your Father would actually befriend someone, as in before the World ends, for that's just not something you can see him doing.
You had Thoughts of that nature a lot lately, and you can admit that to yourself, but even so this is how Humans work for you, everyone has some kind of Setting, some inner workings they follow without fail, and while the process of finding them out might not be flawless it's still nothing you can just not do. Manipulative it might be, but at least for your Family you can't not try to put them down somewhere, and make some more Sense of their Motives, for you aren't social enough to just go with the flow when there is no pressure, and as annoying as that is you can be a bit dense when it comes to social clues.

OutRage: Total Realism.
What happens when a game company strives for total immersion and realism from a VRMMO?Players require food, sleep, personal hygeine, air to breathe and everything else required for life. The up side is that its still a game, Players respawn, can use magic, can basically do anything they want with obvious exceptions like: not going to prison for assassinating a ruling monarch, not that you cant do it only that its very hard to do.In comes our protagonist a university student majoring in the sciences, namely chemistry. His name is Henry Jacobs, 19 years old and a complete loner.A new VRMMO game was annouced and it bragged and boasted about how it would be the first in a new era of VR gaming as it would give the game a total of 100% realism, meaning when you get hit it hurts, when you walk into a dungeon full of zombies it will stink as you'd expect like rottting corpses. This game is titled Outrage: Total Realism. Which was a joke made by the publishers knowing how most people would be either excited or enraged.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
