Chapter 18
While you think about the future you once more realise, just how many Years those promising times still lie away from you, and how much time has still to pass, preferably without you dying of Boredom. All the Books in the World that are worth reading won't be enough to make it an enjoyable time, you're sure of it, for they will simply create more and more Thoughts of the future, blowing it out of Proportions, thus making your time in the here and now even more draining.
But then while you were once more thinking about the future, an Idea came to Mind, one that with enough Luck might just work. And seeing as you didn't have anything actually worthwhile planned, you decide to try it out as soon as you finish your Book on the History of the Faith. For while the Thought of having some fun after Months of Boredom is quite enticing, you still refuse to give in to your Urges the moment they appear, even if there's no truly important reason for doing so, beyond simply keeping some of your Self-control.
Thus, you keep up your pace and finish the Book after a few rather slowly passing Hours of reading, so that you find yourself satisfied and ready to begin testing if your Idea of having some fun with your Father's small Companion could be brought into Reality. A Reality that could provide you with all the entertainment you would need to stop your Mind from wandering, for you truly don't care just how fragile the Faith in the Seven Kingdoms is, and how it could be used to rip apart the North.
And you simply can't find it in yourself to truly care about how much the Gods are actually interfering with this World, and when that could genuinely be used to dismantle entire Armies with so very little effort. Though on second Thought, having Gods that actually give a damn is truthfully rather interesting, but then it leads you to wasting your time again, so you're unsure what to make of the matter, not that doubt has ever stopped you from getting rid of a problem.

You quickly decide to settle your Thoughts and focus on the little White Lion currently sitting in King's Landing in the Chamber of your Father, and you get a hold on the little one without a problem, though you admittedly can't feel all that much from him at the current distance. And so you choose to stop for a moment to turn your own little Cub into a proper Lion, so as to test out your Connection with him in correlation to his Mass, which leaves you with some ninety Minutes of spare time.
Thirty Minutes for him to go as far as he can and sixty Minutes for his smaller form to make it back to you, and then you will have clarity, for while you shrunk your Companion to spy on the Harbor before, you didn't give even the slightest of Thoughts about your Connection at the time. Not that it's the end of the World, but you would prefer to at least know if growing your Father's Cub will have the required effects so as to make it worth your while, but when looking out the Door after some forty Minutes of feeling out the Connection, you finally gain some confidence in your Idea.
To put it into some more simple Words the Connection you share with your now little Cub did indeed scale with his Mass, so double the size means an eight times more stable Connection, but there was another quite interesting Piece of Information as well. That being the one that was responsible for your lack of Knowledge on the matter, for while its additional size strengthens your Bond, shrinking your Lion back down didn't actually decrease the stability of the Bond.
So the main problem for why you can't properly feel your Cubs response is really just the distance between the two of you, it's comparable to someone trying to speak with you over the Wind in the middle of a Snowstorm. Your problem isn't that your Father's Lion can't talk or that you lack the Ability to hear him, but quite simply that the Space between you two is too distorted to decently communicate, but that's fine for now, seeing as it should stop snowing at some Point in the future, it's common Sense after all.

So with that Thought in Mind you started to wait, first for a Day, then two, then a Week, then two, then a Month, then two, and so it goes on and on, and you find yourself ready to kill someone out of sheer frustration. Your Boredom was replaced with wrath in Week six or so, but nothing could be done about the Snow, thus you just continue to wait for a Day the Realm from the Rock to King's Landing will be free of Snowstorms, for the rest of the Year.
At some Point you began to genuinely hate the Snow, but not just because it was denying you your entertainment, seeing as in the end you did get decently well through the Year. But no, you could tell that this Snow wasn't normal, for how could some frozen Water disrupt your Will, when entire Mountains couldn't do so, it just didn't make Sense, but if the Snow held some kind of Magic it would become a different matter entirely. For that would mean that someone was responsible for the Snow that was not just stopping you from enjoying your time but also ravaging the Realm and more importantly your Homelands.
Is this why the Night's Watch exists, because some Piece of Crap tries to freeze everyone to death, but then what's wrong with the World that they are treated like Dirt if that's the Case? Could it really be that they don't even know that having millions of People die each Winter isn't natural, they couldn't be that dense, could they, even you realised it in your quite literally first Winter, though you find yourself wondering how long it would take you to someday use your Ability to affect an entire Continent as well, and more importantly if you could do so to squish whoever creates this darn Snow.

Getting reborn as an Orc
MC gets reborn as an orc. He is going to grow in strength, going to gather his followers build up his clan then crash, slaughter, and humiliate the humans, elves, dwarves, and such. This is a kingdom building story with litrpg elements. Litrpg works well when we talk about single character focused story. But in my story MC eventually going to lead his troops against other people. So I invented something called the tier system. It is similar to the grading system other game light story's use but with much more clear and understandable rules, also uses a very simplified stats system. When you hear someone's tier you could easily understand what to expect. MC is a crafty guy, he usually uses tricks and shady tactics instead of brute force to achieve his goals. He gets ailed with unsavory humans to reaching his aims. So MC going to have a lot of dealings with society's criminal underbelly. I warn you, my English is miserably bad. If you seeking a kingdom building story with a crafty villainous lead who outsmarts his enemies you are in the right place. If you seek something written by someone competent in English please pass this story and please just don't write a review.

Eusocial
There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper.
