RB Chapter 37 Battle Part 2

Kizike folded his knees...or you can say, he bent his knees while midair.

She hadn't yet arrived directly under him, but at the speed he and she were going, they were going to pass each other, one down, the other from above.

Godfrey's folded legs straightened at such speed that even to Ivy it appeared as a blur.

What happened next had the crowd not to mention, Ivy open their eyes wide!

His legs elongated and crushed towards her. They didn't just elongate! The feet even enlarged with every drop in altitude!

'This is bad!' Godfrey was giving her multiple surprises today! It all was the result of not having any inkling of the abilities he had filled his 10 slots with! All they knew was that he had the DNA of an ape...a gorilla.

The air pressure alone was threatening to prevent her from breathing. She could make out the lines which formed in the feet as they crushed towards her!

As she was still slithering her body along the ground, she hurriedly put force into her tail and slapped at the ground. Her speed doubled as she launched off the ground horizontally and passed the feet.

The had grown to a size which covered the entire width of the alley by the time they hit the ground.

Dust and gravel was launched outwards from the site. The velocity of the stones and large pieces of the earth was so that the people who were hit, groaned in pain at the both ends of the alley!

They produced a sound like they were hitting metal when they clashed with Ivy's body.

"Aaaah!" Elena screamed in pain as one of the stones hit the elbow of her left arm and crushed the joint, severing the arm! Even after all that, it passed through and hit the staircase, causing the metal to warp, arresting its momentum, and effectively stopping it!

Only scant pieces of muscle were left holding the arm to the elbow!

"Shit!" A curse escaped out of Ivy's mouth but right now she had to take the guy seriously! If she lost concentration, she might die!

"What genes did you add to yourself?" She was curious. Even the crowd right now had gotten curious! After all right now, his legs hadn't yet gone back to normal!

"Is there any need to know! Really! Even I don't truly have any inkling of your full abilities!" Godfrey refused as his body shrank down.

Ivy thought he was going to stay in his 6 meter form, but the shrinking continued until he gained the same size as a human. Though he was still in his beast form! A human sized gorilla!

"My large from couldn't content with you due to a lack of speed. So, let's try this one!" He said as his red eyes lit up! The moment he kicked off the ground is the same moment he appeared in front of her! Or you could say that he had broken the sound barrier! The shockwave alone caused the crowd, plus Elena who had still been grappling with the pain to cry out!

This time he threw a normal punch! The target was her face!

Ivy's eyes could even see the air which had been compressed on the fist. It was like a haze, which was distorting her vision.

He had punched with his right. She raised her arm at a faster speed and swatted his hand to the side. But he didn't stop there! He threw multiple punches, hand blades, kicks and even the knees and elbows! At some point even Ivy had resumed her human form from her snake tail!

They were in one place, but any mistake in misreading the attack could be lethal! The attacks which missed alone were deadly! Either they tore chunks off the buildings at the side or, created more gashes in the ground! It was all caused by compressed air!

It travelled about 5 meters before dissipating!

'These scales are hard!' Godfrey thought while exchanging moves. He was starting to feel a dull pain in his various parts! It was like he was hitting a block of metal! Sometimes she even intentionally softened the area where she was hit to absorb the impact! She then reflected it back! Her body could store and redirect kinetic energy!

'This must be the experience am lacking.' He thought.

'This guy is relentless! His body is too durable!' Ivy lamented! She couldn't even find a gap to spit out her venom! If she tried, that would slow down her movements and would become fatal!

Eric was mesmerised by the brawl taking place! A single blow held such force that the terrain couldn't handle the compressed air! What if the blow itself connected, what would happen?

Blue arcs of electricity were flickering deep in both the boy's eyes. They were managing to capture every movement without missing a beat! Their pupils looked to be in one place, but they were shifting minutely at such a fast speed that you couldn't capture it.

'Ivy is faster than Godfrey, but he looks like he has foresight!' Eric was analysing the battle.

Even though the crowd was around ten meters away, the cameras of their devices could zoom in. And they were of high quality! Cameras of mobile devices could capture at least 10,000 pixels. And this was from a few years ago! The developed continents might even have advanced further.

'I need to be like them. I lack experience!' Eric's eyes were burning! He wanted to have the kind of strength they were currently showing!

His heart was beating rapidly. Excitement! That was all he felt right now! He had finally found something he wanted to do, and that was become strong! It was causing his blood to seethe with excitement! Electricity was coursing through his veins in tiny arcs!

'I must become like them! String enough to be a one man army!'

"This young one is commendable!"

Such a voice was heard in a certain room. It was roughly 6×6m and it had a desk and a book shelf. There was even a sofa for the guests.

The room had no windows.

An elderly man dressed impeccably in a swallowtail suit was standing behind another who looked younger, seating in a chair behind the desk.

Baguma's hands were clenched! This guy was actually a match for a clan leader. And from what he saw, was that he was still inexperienced!

Mr. Lee was the one who had commented on the video feed from diagonally behind Baguma.

"Yes, he's got promise. Too bad he joined the wrong side!" Baguma commented nonchalantly even though his hands were clenched. He was worried for Ivy.

"But this battle, if it gets any more serious, there will be casualties! I wonder what the police is doing right now?" Baguma casually asked. His suspicions regarding Mr. Lee were still there.

"...now I must act so that the dignity of the police force isn't dragged in the mud!" Ntenume was shouting to no one in particular. He was seated in the backseat of a car moving along the road.

Judging by his conversation, he was heading towards the fight. He was also holding g a mobile device and watching the live stream. The defeat of the bull squad had reflected badly on the police force.

If they managed to change the city's rulers, the police might not survive the purge even if it was connected to the organisation.

Ntenume was pretty familiar with Elder Muti. That old coot would definetely dismantle the force if this incident wasn't handled properly!

They had to stop the fight, but the police were lacking someone else who could barge into a clan leader level fight! As the only one who had the power, he had to step in even though he was the chief of police.

It was lamentable, but couldn't be solved, the police was shorthanded! They had only the bull squad. It was like that so that they didn't become a target of suspicion by the ten clans.

"Those damn idiotic ten clans!" He cursed!

Right now he had abandoned his signature tiny suit and instead he was clad in a dark full body suit. It was Symbiotic Armor(SYMOR). Symbiotic armor was expensive and troublesome to make, so very few people had it! Even the ten clans could only afford one armor for the clan leader!

"Step on it! I need to get there before people die!" Ntenume shouted at the driver. The car sped up considerably.

'That old coot is definitely watching! I wonder what he is thinking about!' Elder Muti was the big shot behind this organisation. Even though he looked old, he could definitely live for hundreds of years more! It was all related to his genes...the organism he harvested the genes from!

To him, this was just a plan which will place all the power in his hands. He had wanted that, but the clan leaders of the ten clans weren't people who would be content to be placed under his thumb, so he came up with this long plan which was about to come to fruition.

He has the ape gene but he has done something which can't currently be done in Kampala city! They are many, but today we are going to talk about one.

He has multiple tiny hearts along all his blood vessels, even the capillaries! He doesn't have a heart in his chest. The tiny hearts are so efficient in that he can speed up his blood flow to such speed that he can speed up his body without any speed related gene. It is also one of the reasons his eyes gain a red hue!
