RB Chapter 38 Battle Part 3
Right now on a certain roof, someone was looking down into the alley the two were fighting in.
He had his arms crossed and he was spotting a look of disdain! He had brown hair which was cascading down his back in the form of a waterfall. The sky was bit brighter in the far western horizon offering a glimpse of his face. He was Leo Mpologoma, dubbed the strongest human in this city!
'My daughter looks safe enough! I will watch just a bit longer. But these...tsk! Tsk!' He shook his head.
He was dissappointed with this battle. A sneer was even gracing his face.
'I will wait until someone else from that organisation comes. I will need to do something that will intimidate them from protesting in front of my house.' The night breeze tussled his brown hair.
His canines were on full display. Even though he disdained the fight, he was anticipating what kind of opponent the organisation was going to send.
-------
"Young ones truly are full of energy." The voice came from elder Muti. He was watching a video in his phone. Even though it was becoming dark, he wasn't yet ready to leave the hut. It wasn't fitted with lighting, so the light from his phone was the only light in the room.
"Everything has already been set in motion. I really have to thank that hunting dog. The current turn of events is useless! We can't have any more of the population die, but we can't expose our cards before the battle. Hmmm...what to do?" He tapped his chin with his finger.
The light from the video lighted up his face which looked as if it was floating in the darkness. He was alone since Kiwuka had gone back.
-----
A large sound was heard before the two entangled fighters broke apart.
If you looked closely, you could see that Godfrey's body was releasing steam.
'I overheated! Speeding up my metabolism to become faster didn't work.' He thought while panting. His muscles were also showing signs of strain.
His red eyes had also dimmed considerably.
'This woman is strong! It looks like I underestimated the clan leaders.'
'Strenuous work is uncomfortable! I like to be at normal temperature, in other words, cold! Its all my fault, no one else's. I wanted to save the girl after causing all this.' Ivy thought.

There were no visible injuries on her body, proving that her scale defense was truly sturdy! But she was uncomfortable from the heat coursing through her body due to the fast movements.
Her rows of scales rose a little letting out copious amounts of steam.
"Wow!" The crowd shouted! It was truly surprising! Such amounts of steam could only mean that your body temperature was at or close to boiling point!
Elena who had been shocked speechless by the level of the battle had also widened her eyes! She had cut off all sense of pain by subconsciously ordering her cells. Right now, she was numb. Though that came with certain disadvantages, they could be ignored at the current juncture.
'So I was deluding myself all along! I thought I was strong, but I was a weakling! Haha...hahahah..." She mocked herself. She found that her previous superiority had been a joke to the truly powerful! She didn't even think that she would be qualified to sit at the same table as them even after graduation! The battle had shown her that if she didn't fill in her gene slots, fight in the wilderness for a few years and be capable of battling the likes of these two without losing, there was no way that they would treat her seriously! The little kids she had been mocking had essentially been at the same level as her! If it wasn't for her background, they would probably have challenged her until they won!
They must have seen her as a dancing clown! Some of those might have even intentionally lost during her confrontations with her since they saw no point in winning, or fighting to a draw, instead it would lead to hate from the ten clans!
"Godfrey! You have been hiding deeply." Ivy commented after getting rid of the bulk of the heat through the steam.
'Now I need to dehydrate!' She thought in annoyance.
"This is normal. I have been wanting revenge all these years! You don't know what revenge grants to a person. I know!" His dim red eyes gained a certain sharpness.
"Warming up is now done. I don't care about your useless life story." Ivy said while rolling her eyes.
"Wha-?" He didn't get to finish getting enraged as she had appeared in front of his face in an instant! He didn't even manage to see how that had happened!
Her right hand had its fingers aligned in the form of a blade and it bent horizontally in front of her chest.

Godfrey could even see drops of liquid beneath her nails! His eyes widened!
But still, she was moving at a speed that he could handle. So he shifted his head and neck backwards by arching his back.
A slashing sound was heard and a head sailed through the air.
"What happened!? I am 100% positive I dodged that attack!" Even as his head sailed through the air, Godfrey's mouth was still talking. And its voice was even heard, making people wonder how he could even produce sound?
"You were careless. We, the people who have been in countless battles take an opponent seriously from the start. We never play around with warming up." Ivy commented as the head fell into one of the gullies created by their attacks earlier.
"I understand! I won't make the same mistake again!" He said before his head stopped all movement. He had seen that the posture she was adopting was different from the one he saw she was launching the swipe in.
"Oh! Is this a clone?" Ivy wondered.
"She was playing around with him and he didn't even notice. He's too green to be any worthy opponent." The figure high above commented.
Godfrey's body started dissolving in front of the speechless crowd. All that was left was a gooish substance. It was colorless.
"He died! Just like that! How can he have failed to misread that attack?" Someone in the crowd shouted after some time.
"Yes! How could he have been too weak?"
"Was he blustering for nothing?"
"I won't forget this lesson.I wasted a seed but it was worth it!" A hooded figure hidden within the crowd muttered before turning and walking away.
"Pathetic! I am the one who made a loss! I exposed some of my abilities just to fight a clone!?" Ivy lamented before turning towards Elena.
'Good thing she is safe. Now its time to take her home.'
"Stop! Right! There!" Someone shouted the moment she had picked up Elena.
The man was clearly perspiring a lot! He must have fought his way through the crowd.
He was bald, with a black symbiotic armor adorned on his body. His muscles were well defined. His panting only lasted for a few seconds.
'Tchi! I bet he is putting on a show for the populace. Who in this era perspires that much?' Ivy thought. A cautious look had overcome her previously relaxed features. Someone troublesome had arrived yet she had just wasted her energy.
Even if she took another shot of ATP, her muscles and tendons were tired from the strain of movement.
His name was Ntenume. He had combat experience unlike that Godfrey riffraff who had been holed up in this city. If push came to shove, he could go toe to toe with the best of the best! That meant herself and the others at her level.
"The police chief is here! Unlike that riffraff who lost miserably, he will get us the justice we deserve!" Someone shouted riling up the crowd. They didn't care about Godfrey, they had heard what Ivy had said! The man had been just a clone.
A bitter smile graced Ntenume's lips when he heard the crowd.
'Do you think that fighting her is easy?' If he didn't want to tarnish his image, he would have shouted at them!
"So, he's the one they've sent. It looks like its my turn, or my wife might freak." Leo, who was up on the building shuddered! His wife was the only one he didn't want to slight! Or else, she might ask them to separate!
Ntenume's blood started circulating faster. He didn't have time to waste! He must end this faster! His eyes turned red and his nostrils flared with steam! Curved horns grew out of the side of his forehead.
"Berserk! Straight away! Clear space for the man or you might die!" The person didn't even have to shout as the crowd drew ten meters away from the man.
The animal's genes he had merged with were those of the male cow...in other words the bull! His legs had turned into hooves. He angled his body low, preparing for a charge.
He knew that she could jump upwards but this wasn't a normal charge of a mindless beast! She who had been on the battlefield with him knew.
Their eyes locked and everything unnecessary vanished from their senses.

rabbits sin of silence (Seven Deadly Sins X reader)
There were eight deadly sins but, seven sounds better. It's more catchy. It lets people be bystanders, it lets them watch without interference.Because the eighth sin was the sin of silence.and no one likes to see the faults in themselves.------------- discontinued -none of the characters of plot lines from the seven deadly sins belong to me.
