RB Chapter 69 Godfrey's Power!

"Heh!" A grin appeared on his face.

"I sense the aura of the elder from the life form blocking the hole in the roof, but it doesn't matter." He said. His body still two floors down.

He bent his knees a little, and then launched off the floor, causing concentric cracks, eventually shattering due to his strength!

His body was launched upwards and passed through the organism blocking his way!

His body was launched out into the air due to the force!

A scream of pain reached his ears from down below, but he chose to ignore it.

"Gooodfreeeeeyyyyy!" A voice full of anger shouted towards the sky.

Right now, the heavy downpour had slowed down to a drizzle signifying the passing of the storm.

Down below, a huge hole had opened up in the life form the elder had transformed into. The moment the hole had opened up, the elder immediately sucked away all the life force and energy from it, causing it to either and look dried out.

Two figures finally jumped out from inside it. They were dishevelled. Leo had his skin melted on some parts of his body, and even a few holes were also visible, with a few tendrils peaking out. His face was pale, but it still couldn't mask the fury contained in his eyes.

Lena was the same, though not as bad as her husband. Her eyes were also containing a simmering rage.

"Godfrey! After this, I am going to make sure you pay!" The tree shattered, and elder Muti popped out, clad only in his symor. It was green, with vein like patterns having green light travelling along them.

He was now thoroughly enraged! Mr. Lee appeared at his side, also glaring at Godfrey, who had landed. He was in between the two parties.

"You were blocking the way after all!" A deep voice came from the gorilla. The gorilla was about four meters tall and its red eyes caused a chill to rise up the elder's mind when he looked into them.

Right now Godfrey was giving off an intimidating aura. Both elder Muti and Mr. Lee were shocked!

But they weren't given any time to continue bickering! Both Lena and Leo opened their mouths and sucked in, before ripples appeared in the nearby air when they exhaled!

Elder Muti couldn't help but direct his vision towards Lena. This was shocking! She actually had the same abilities as her husband, but had managed to hide them!

'What were our agents doing! I should kill all of them!'

But right now wasn't the time, he had to prevent those destructive ripples from touching his body!

They were moving at the speed of sound, and everything they touched disintegrated into dust! Even the concrete roof in front of the husband and wife did the same, not to mention the metal bars in it! That's just how dangerous it was!

Godfrey, who had been standing in front of the elders couldn't help but turn around towards the ripples. He sensed a threat to his life from them. His instincts were practically screaming at him to run away!

"But, I am strong! Such things won't prevent me from taking revenge!" His head was still in a lot of pain, but he decided to grit his teeth! After all it was still in usage, maintaining the position of every cell and tissue, to prevent any problems that might lead to his death!

(Boom!)

A sonic boom almost blew away both the elder and Mr. Lee's eardrums! They had just seen the two arms which had been resting at the gorilla's side vanish, before the sound was released.

It created a ripple which sped towards the two overlapping ripples! But Godfrey didn't stop there, a string of sounds were created nonstop as he continued clapping his massive hands.

More ripples were formed and collided with the two incoming ones! He managed to slow them down with his clapping, until finally, they vanished! And that was only two meters away from him!

The roof of the building was left in tatters! The section of the roof in the middle the couple and Godfrey had vanished! The hole extended multiple floors down! It acted as a testament to their destructive powers!

Godfrey abruptly vanished from the two elder's visions. The next time he appeared within them, he was standing on the other side, at the edge, overlooking the couple, with his back to them. The place he had been standing on collapsed the moment he landed on the other side.

Both Lena and Leo had their eyes shrink when they beheld his speed.

"Now, its time for revenge!" His deep voice echoed.

He once again vanished only to reappear directly in front of the two, with both his fists punching out! The air pressure alone caused the two's hair to be blown backwards!

Leo and Lena both raised their palms to block. They madly channeled energy into them as they sensed a threat to their lives!

(Boom!)

A shockwave was created when they made contact! Leo and Lena both left grooves in the ground as they were blown away! Meanwhile, Godfrey had stood his ground!

"What? His strength can even surpass energy channeling!" Elder Muti's voice reached his ears from the other side. He was truly shocked!

But even though it reached, it didn't register in Godfrey's ears. Right now he felt like falling down to the ground and rolling in pain!

'I need to end this fast and undo the transformation!'

He took a step, causing concentric cracks to form around the foot, and then blasted off towards the two! This time, he was even faster!

He punched once again, when the two had just regained their footing!

It was also faster! It caused a howling of the air. A red shift, reminiscent of friction caused by the speed of his punches, caused his fists to look as if they were burning!

Both Lena and Leo, as if they had rehearsed, shifted to the side, and he passed by the two in the middle, they swept his feet from under him!

Godfrey's body tilted, causing both his punches to head towards the ground! Upon contact, however, ripples were formed, on the concrete before it shattered into multiple fragments!

The place he had impacted transferred all that momentum downwards, causing all of it to shatter and...

(Boom!)

It was like a bomb had just exploded! As the dust cleared, everyone sucked in a breath of air!

A hole of ten meters had opened up from the roof diagonally to the side of the building! It was like a giant creature had just taken a bite out of it!

Godfrey was currently hanging from one of the floors! He was also shocked by the power of the two punches!

"Elder, this guy is starting to look like a threat!" Mr. Lee whispered into the elder's ears. His face was pale.

"Let's let him exhaust his power here. I bet there must be a drawback to the power he is showing. I suspect it to be cellular rearrangement."

"What? That can't be! The computational power needed for cellular rearrangement is enough to cause a human's brain to explode!" Mr. Lee shook his head side to side in denial.

"That's why I am just suspecting. If its true, them he will be dangerous!" The elder's eyes flickered. No one could tell what he was thinking.

Godfrey swung and then hurled himself upwards after getting over the shock. Once his feet touched the ground though, it collapsed causing him to lose his balance.

Leo and Lena looked at each other before racing towards him.

Lena threw a flying kick towards his chest while Leo also channeled all his energy into his hand and clawed towards him.

His nails elongated and bisected horizontally towards his ribs! But instead of cutting through, sparks flew! The fur had hardened!

Lena's kick connected and pushed Godfrey, but he acted fast! He clasped his hand and trapped her foot in a vice grip!

Leo hurriedly held the hand of his wife! And they were both blown away with Godfrey!

They were blown away from the building! All their faces paled! At this height, the injuries wouldn't be simple!

Godfrey could recover, but only if he cancelled the cellular rearrangement! All other genetic abilities couldn't be used if his cells were still arranged in a particular matrix!

As they were racking their brains for countermeasures, vines appeared and wrapped around them! But, they weren't normal vines, they had thorns, which scraped on their skin! Only Godfrey was lucky enough not to get any injuries.

It went taut, after which they felt a force pulling them in the opposite direction from where they had been falling.

"Poison!?" Leo's alarmed voice was heard. He felt his vision getting blurry, while also losing strength.

"Elder, why didn't you let them fall?" Mr. Lee asked.

Elder Muti was currently pulling on a cocoon. He was the one who had just saved the trio. He placed it on an intact section of the roof.

"If they had fallen, those two might have taken the chance to run away. Then we would have been in trouble. Even if we won, we would be always looking out for a blade at our backs! That can't be allowed to happen!" He explained.
