Mana is just too powerful not to use.
Able drake's Impirial manifesto : calendar of order : year 62
Able Drake-
When I entered my room It was the icarus equivalent of 3pm so I had a couple hours of time to play around with mana weaver. How I was going to grind it out was by trying to get the stabilizer out of the construct or in laymans terms 'spel', and using the new node in a fun or cool way. The new was a coloration node It pretty much changed the color of the spell however you want for 1 mana extra to the building costs.
First I made the construct more structured by making it a triangle. The next construct was just made without the lines to the stabilizer and the stabilizer node, it just collapsed no explosion just dispersion of mana. When I did it again I looked at the construct and I saw that the mana string wasn't strong enough to keep the nodes together, so in the next one I connected the nodes with 2 strings and it dispersed like last time. Then I did 3&4 strings, and it dispersed. when 5 strings were made and the nodes slowly dispersed over a minute, the nodes were apparently not strong enough.

It seems that the more mana a construct has the more the force that causes the dispersion, which I'll call the 'ambiant mana dispersion law' Increases. And I believe this is what the staibilizer weakens or increases resistence too. so I should decrease the strings but reinforce them.
I first did 4 thicker strings and the nodes dispersed, then 3, then 2, then 1. 'Maybe I'm going the wrong way' I thought. My idea is that I need to refine the nodes instead of the strings, then Mana weaver leveled up. It just lowered mental strain on using mana, which is good for more intricate details in constructs. Which I'll be sure to use for my plans.
First I made the original triangle.
Then I just made another one, but took away the mana from the light node a bit and did that with some trail and error the wasted mana that did nothing in the node was removed. But it still collapsed. Next I did the same with the reciver, but it changed nothing.
Another try was reinforcing specific parts of the strings, like the middle of the string. Because I've seen a trend that the 'mana dispersion law', is that its pulled from inside to outside. The inside being the figurative center of mass.
But after the construct was made, the parts of the strings attached to the nodes got ripped apart.
so instead of making those parts thicker. I made the ends of the strings into two mini strings, and it took less time to break apart.
When I did it with three, it took 10 seconds to fall apart. Which was good .
After an hour of doing this I just took a break and layed down for 5 minutes, healing the strain on the mind.
After that I did 4 mini strings but the time to collapse was 1 second shorter, which is very bad.

Then I had an idea of having two extra strings on the left and right of the original but it didn't change much.
Then I Through trail and error slowly changed the proportions of the strings, thickening the mini strings or thining them. Trying to find the most efficient way of mana usage.
Then I had a revolutionary idea 'What if I make the distance of the nodes smaller?' Having to have less mana in the middle of the string, and overall just less mana because the string was shorter. It sounded great theoretically, but then reality came slaming down. When I shortened the string bit by bit, the time till collapse increased. But then I realized that it wasn't so easy, at half the original line's length. The string became unstable, my theory was that it was not having enough mana to handle the transfer of mana. But first I made the new minimal length my new starting point.
After another 5 minute break I started making new 'inovations'. First I tried to take out 6 mini strings out of the middle of the main string to attach to the first 6 mini strings, and it added another second of time before collapse.
I then added to the current trend making three mini strings that connected the above and below. But then decreased the time to collapse, this wasn't going my way and I had nagotiations to do tommorow. With that blacksmith and carpenter.
I then thought 'I'm going to sleep'

The Forbidden Class
Hatred. Lust. Power. There are many reasons why the Forbidden Classes are chosen. For Katai, a young village Guard, the reason was simple. Vengeance. Schedule I’ve not been able to write for quite some time now, so while I’m getting back into things the schedule will be nonexistent. Story details LitRPG - expect classes and skills and magic. Not a lot of stats/number-crunching though. There is slavery featured in this story, which a lot of people have been upset about. So here’s your fair warning. Skill levels and progression inspired by Azarinth Healer. Let me know what you think, and feel free to give me some constructive criticism. Please be nice about it though!

The Foretold: Sun Child (Complete)
As a sixteen year old commoner, your future is bleak. Worse, your appearance sets you apart from others. Your only achievement so far, is befriending the second son of the Lord of the Keep. He has been your only friend for eleven years, initially partner in mischief and later your hunting companion and confidant. Now your friendship is being torn asunder, he has turned eighteen and is being sent away to become a Judge Knight Aspirant. What is to become of you? Before your friend leaves, there is murder and conspiracy! Magic left the land hundreds of years ago, all you have is your bow and hunting skills, nevertheless you must fight to survive and save another to have any hope of a future! Note: The graphic isn't mine; it is a re-imagining of a few separate images, any objections by original artists let me know. N.B. If you are looking for Sexual Content every chapter, or every second, third or fourth chapter this isn't the story for you - the Sexual Content is required for a plot device, not a way of life and the later chapters reflect that - please stop dropping Low Ratings when you feel I haven't met your idea of "fan service". This is finished as much as a multi book vision can be finished. At 750,000 words give or take and very little readership I can only blame myself. I have learnt a lot, possibly forgotten a lot as well! I will probably return to the Chapters at some point - a touch up here and a touch up there. The second book though will probably remain in my head for a very long time, so yes "cliffs" although I hope the characters and their motivations are developed enough that you can have a good guess at the content of Book Two and tell me so I can confirm or deny! This isn't a LITRPG where classes are developed, great foes are defeated by a hero of immense power. This is a story based within (I hope) a very real and consistent culture, that leaves breadcrumbs for the reader to work out what the heck is happening and why. This is a slow burn story as the MC is stumbling around discovering her new place and role. Author's Note (Apr 2021): I dropped the Fantasy Genre for the Mystery Genre, because while the setting mentions magic, is it about past glories and trying to return to them. Whereas the MC from Chapter One doesn't understand her predicament and the range of mysteries she must solve to survive. If I have this wrong PM me and I will change this back.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
