I was smilling stupidly, then instantly erased the act. I asked Erebus {Did it appear?} He said in response [No.]
I was training to not make pupils while acting, going out and making pupils would then immeadiately become the minimum I need to be on the run, nothing else. I never cared to act in any conversations with another noble outside the family so no one should have seen my pupils, and if they did and saw me having pupilless eyes my entire academy career they'd think 'Oh it must've only been that way when he was younger.' or 'I must've been seeing things.'
The dynamic changed with Isla which used to be pretty distant and cold, but decent person in certain things. To closer and less good of a person, but still nice when you do what you're told person over the last week.
And I was able to make a low purity low concentration darkness mana bolt, it was already way stronger than the original. The mental strain was a bitch though, but it was worth it. When I did it I became happy and made a little feast for isla and an extra 10 essence, and I chose to evolve a new element of beast. I was planning to use a drake for all my elements. But it was way to annoying to get one for myself since the children are hidden inside nests with rulers.
I want in the minimum a rare evolution, that would be around 2000k if they weren't 'worthy', and if they were 1000k for it. if I wanted epic an extra 0 at the end. That's in the millions! I can get an uncommon evo dintyle to grind constantly for essence gaining, yea... Yea, yea! Wait... Since any blood beast can evolve anywhere, what if I throw a few into the grand labyrinth, wouldn't I be able to let them grow on their own survival of the fittest style?
The grand labyrinth being the greatest dungeon known to man, being of every element and the only legal dungeon with the darkness element in it. These elements also included concepts although rare, they're powerfull and unique. Getting in would be impossible right now, but there should be a chance in the academy.

Also, in the last week I released the monster into the wild with an oath. They work both on man and monster! I also gave Osgar the chance to get mana manipulation for a new skill, 'rudimentary teaching' it was literally just an E rank, I had him teach me history for another skill that was pretty rare 'rudimentary learning' being a D allowing for a single percent increase in skill exp! and increasing focus when learning while not blocking the other senses, pretty much you won't get worse tunnel vision when learning.
I had learned of 'learning' from Deais, since it was so rare and hard to get it was only really known to really old bosses like gods or the royal family. It was a good skill, like really good. Back to getting a good evo, I gave Isla one of my bows because she was weak and instructed her on the grand path of markmenship. If I got a gun, I wouldn't give it to her without a certain oath.
I impatiently taught her the idea that when you're resting others are catching up to you or are dismantling your grand monopoly, and also of-handedly recommended a skill to lower sleeping needs. I let her do her thing with the order of training with a weapon at least 1 hour per day, I didn't do that though. I had real world practice, and I had production skills to be evil with.
This time I tried something cool I remembered with the last dream, this time I made a sword blade normally, but with wrought iron. Then I used a great technique called; buying shit. I bought charcoal paste, well... I made it with charcoal I bought so same thing. I put it on the blade, my hands got gross and sticky. I then made a air tight seal with clay, then did the forge to a pretty high level of tempreture. Not enough to smelt it, but enough to make it maluable with a hammer smack.
After taking it out, I broke that seal to pieces with my hammer, after letting it cool down a bit of course. The result is an outside with the hardness of steel, and the inside with the toughness of wrought iron. This was after I quickly dosed it in water then tempered it by slowly increasing the heat again.
After hammering the hilt and guard on I looked at it's stats, compared to my two best works, it was a bit better on the hardness. It'll get more pronounced with time, since it was the first time I used it. And you could think of it as a bonus to the original, but right now the base was lower than the big two I was using so it was given to Osgar.
I chose to make all my current non-often used tools steel outside iron inside, I don't know what it's called.
Also, 'Mana architect', over powered. I got a sound node, I already knew what to do. I tried both 19 & 7hz, the previous causing apparitions and maybe blindness? the latter causing much more that was known, At high volumes, infrasound can directly affect the human central nervous system causing disorientation, anxiety, panic, bowel spasms, nausea, vomiting and eventually organ rupture, even death from prolonged exposure. Sound is scary on a fundimental level too, almost everything can kill you, no matter what you do, you're still gonna die.

Both worked as expected on an enemy child in the weekly dungeon run, it was hilerious to see that kid become nausious. From then on I was recognized by everyone as the one who can make people nausious without any effort, and the strongest of the generation with me punching into a wall making a spider crack pattern. Mana is nice.
I picked up a normie wind beast, the dyingbreeze minyrl. Yep, I don't know why it's called that, but it is. It was like a bird but it was also a mammal, but it could only glide and swoop down. The dungeon was made to acommodate this beast, giving an extra 5 meters in both x and y.
I didn't expect anything from it, I just had it kill shit and gave it one in every ten essence it got with a quest.
I constricted it to the first floor and told it to run away from humans or other beasts that were not of its own kind, since they'd come from outside. And it would be easy for it to be stronger than it should in that floor naturally allows, and they could kill you easily.
I followed it a while and took an Osgar to say that I was going to 'do some shit, I'll come back when I feel like it.'
I had nothing to do, so I made some shit up. The great falling star art, it was a great name for a trash thing.
It was very basic {You have claws, swoop down and tilt yourself upwards to go up again, if you get better wings you'll be able to do this until your prey dies, so it is called; first move, perpetual star. You have a mouth beak thing, swoop in and do one big bite to the eyes or one of the previous 'Weak parts' that I told you about, so it is called; the second move, diminishing star. The last is a hail mary reach for the stars move, fall down like a falling star and use you beak or claws as a consumeable weapon replesished by gravity, and strike at one of the previous 'Vital points', if that doesn't work, tough luck. Do your best not to die, scratch and claw your way out of there, such is the move called; final move, dying star. A move embodying the saying 'Go out with a bang'.}
I was proud of my names and the fact that I was able to think this up, I'm not a bird. I am a human, no, a homeo-sapien. a humanoid creature, not a flightless brid mammal. I had already broke out of the limit of my species, I only knew the basics though. But that teaching exp, mm, my endless greed was getting more satisfied.
I gave some tips about improving the technique, like always keeping the final move the final move, or that it could also call it an ultimate move. I also told it about how a quick way to enter the air is a wall jump, and if you use your prey as a launching platform you should be able to keep using wall jumps and increasingly high dives to rule the skies.
I followed it around and let it do its thing, when I was confident in its cheeze techniques. I helped it level up to level 10 in about an hour, it wasn't that hard. I then made it practice wall-jump economics for a while, making a mission for every one hundred successfull in-combat after starting a combo an extra essence was given. This quest could be done 100 times.
After being satisfied with its performance, I felt like channeling my inner eighth grader again. The name was easily chosen, it came naturally. Gale Born, sounds really cool and Gale Slayer wouldn't work. I nodded to myself, quickly looked at its status, and laughed hysterically. In the skills section, there was actually the skill 'Falling star art', how? How?! Shouldn't it be in masteries, if anything?
I made the wise decision of not complaining and just accepting the benifits, I was completely satisfied with the results of Gale Born or Gale for short. With how good this was going, I gave Gale a single quest.
Quest; Become an elder
Elders, the strongest of their race, solely below the peak, grand elders. Only those who become an elder are the true elite, though they are rare and unique existences in every species. They are only born through blood and iron, none have even come into being through artificial methods and no accelerants to the process have ever been created.
If any become one, they are destined a smooth journey to a high place in life if they are not slain.
Become one of these great existences and become one of the elite.
Condition; obtain the title 'Elder (I)'
Rewards; 100000 essence, guaranteed rare evolution, a free sixth rank perk of your choosing, and three sixth rank perks chosen by your contracter.
Failure; evolve before becoming an elder.
this costed at the minimum 100k+(32kx4), at max an extra 200k added on so... 228k or 428k essence, eh, an elder is worth way more than that. I'd probably give a few extra perks, and maybe an epic evolution if I can. But it probably won't happen, I'll just keep it at rank 1 forever. It was just supposed to get me essence afterall, no bigger purpose.
I quickly ran out of the dungeon and went back to the house, I was notified about something though. I had to choose or make a design for my school uniform, I already had it prepared. A black outer suit and a white inner suit, opened and closed with black buttons. There were also jeans which were black, the inner suit had those flaps to hide the tie that was around your neck. I also had a tie design, just really dark blue. There was also a more gray inner suit too, this was the culmination of fashion throughout my entire life. I also had a bunch of different colorations made with every one of them with 2 extra back-ups. I did this fashion set-up for the next 11 years, fitting clothes should be prepared for emergencies.
