《Gods among gods》Chapter 10 - Ava's world

-Hey, do you want to meet a friend? Deom asked with a mischievous smile on his face.
...It's okay- Mikah replied.
- Back off a bit. -Deom said as he rolled up his suit and showed his white forearms covered in tattoos that looked like a cross between strange symbols and ancient runes.
-A little more, turtle. This is usually something… spooky hehe. -He smiled as he joined his arms in a special symbol that was formed by joining a part of a tattoo that he
had on his left elbow with another symbol on his right forearm.
The sky, which was already gray before, started to get even darker, and a strange sound like that of a trumpet started to get louder and louder. The sound came from the
sky itself that was crying above their heads and with every decibel that went up, the landscape darkened even more.
“BOOOMMM!!!” A halo of white light fell directly on Deom.
-Touch my shoulder! -Mikah's teacher shouted and the shout could barely be heard between the sound and the wind that swirled the leaves of the cemetery.
Mikah approached planting his feet and trying not to blow himself up in the wind.
-Harden your aura, friend... or you won't be able to come!
Mikah gritted his teeth, focused on the aura, and strode forward.
One step, and the memory of his entire childhood flashed before his eyes.
Two steps, and the memory of his youth seemed like a lifetime.
Three steps, and he reached the moment of his death.
As soon as he reached out and was able to touch Deom's shoulder, the sound stopped and he could see the halo of light slowly fade to show the landscape from the top
of a hill. The landscape was green and fertile as far as he could see, and the horizon gave off a somewhat vanilla light that seemed both sad and beautiful.
-ugh! He let out Deom as he sat down on the ground of the hill. -This journey is always so long... but it's always worth coming- his eyes shone as he watched a
medieval castle in the distance with memories in his eyes.
-This is Ava's world.

Rise of the Human Emperor
The Gods and Goddesses felt dissatisfied with the development of the mortals, and thus they decided to create a game. Animals mutated, and fantasy-like monsters invaded the world. Humans thought they were forsaken by the Gods. However, hope came after discovering that anyone that killed a mutated animal or monsters would awaken an internal energy called 'Mana'. Miraculous abilities such as the manipulation of elements, moving objects with the mind, and more super-human abilities appeared one after another. But... Would the humans truly survive the trials, be them internal or external? Would the terrors that come from their mutated planet, and beings that come from the vast sea of stars have mercy on them? Or would they fight till one side is exterminated? Would the Humans rise through the endless chaos, or succumb to the darkness of death? A sick game for entertainment of the Gods, and survival of the humans. This is the Rise of the Human Emperor. Disclaimer: The cover's drawing do not belong to me, it was edited by a good friend.
