《Gods among gods》Chapter 13 - Passport

After admiring the scenery from the edge of the bridge for a while, Mikah turned around and prepared to face the tide of people coming and going from the gateway to the city of Mir. He walked in line behind some merchants and silently observed everyone.
The races of the people were diverse and he noted that the color of the skin was not important in that place. There were both rich and poor of all races coming and going. Some had brightly colored robes and others wore tatters. Some wore armor and others who looked like merchants had jewelry. He noticed that swords and daggers were plentiful, and noticed that as they got closer and closer to the doors, they all took out some luminescent papers that they carried in their hands.
-Friend- he said to one of the merchants next to him -What is that?- he pointed with his index finger at the paper the merchant was carrying in his hands.
The merchant looked at him strangely for a moment and answered.
-You must not be from around here... from the mountains beyond the dawn perhaps?
Mikah nodded.
The merchant frowned slightly.
-This is Mir's passport. If you want to enter Mir, you must have the passport of Mir, or perhaps of the city where you are from and apply for a visa… We don't see many foreigners in these places.
-I don't have a passport- said the young man raising his hands -I'm not from any country.
The merchant changed his face automatically.
-An undocumented immigrant! -He shouted -An undocumented immigrant is on the bridge of Mir!
The entire bridge seemed to have stopped and all eyes turned to Mikah. Two of the guards at the great gate, which was not so far away now, ran towards the place, knocking aside anyone they met in the way.

Mikah was alarmed, but the confusion was more than the fear and he stayed still in place.
When the guards arrived before them, the largest one said "Passport!" and showed his hand palm up.
-...I don't have a passport- Mikah said once more.
-Where are you from?
Mikah looked around confused and saw anger in all the eyes that looked at him.
-From the mountains beyond the dawn- he lied.
-Then you must have the passport of the city of "Allan"" said the guard looking at him suspiciously.
-I lost it- Mikah said, and realized that it seemed to be a joke, because everyone around him started laughing… everyone except the guard.
- Filthy undocumented liar!- he said and unsheathed his the sword -The undocumented die!- the guard screamed and raised the sword high above his head.

Owning a cute little pet
Ryan, a young student at a university who enjoys collecting various rare animals, accepts a rather unusual offer. He has to house a young woman called Shiina White at his flat and take care of her daily needs. In exchange he receives a substential salery from the young female artist who just doesn't seem to be able to live on her own. Luckly for him Shiina is not only beautiful and naive, but also hates wearing clothes at home. As you might have guessed from this synopsis this story is inspired by the anime sakurasou no pet na kanojo, to be exact I took the main herione Shiina Mashiro as the draft for the female main character of this novel Shiina White (Yep it is a wordplay as Shiro means white in Japanese, I also switched the forname with the lastname). That said this is no fanfiction, but rather my take on the whole story and a far more lewd take as well!
