《The Noble Curse of Ookami [Previously Titled: CLOSER]》The Hunted

"Ishigaki!!" Kazuki yells at the hunter when he gets close to them. Kazuki could throw his sword, but he wouldn't want to take the chance of losing it forever. We didn't have any projectiles back then. "Shit, the hunter is too fast,"
We chased them out of sector 24's coverage. I was worried if there's more dangerous enemies here. We were approaching sector 16. Different aura emanated from the sector, my vision suddenly turned darker, it felt like my soul was sucked out the moment we stepped on the area.
Ishigaki was struggling to free himself from the hunter's choke. Because he didn't have a zodiac sword, he didn't have any means to attack the hunter. He tried to punch the hunter with his Auric but with no success.
"We have to get back! There's no way we can get him!" Kotetsu warned us to stick to the mission, but the rest of us disagreed with him and continued chasing. Kotetsu looked worried from his expression, he was a really disciplined person, so he really wanted to follow the rules. But our teammate was at stake here, we had to save him.
I ran past Kotetsu, because he was slowing down. He slowed down to make sure no one followed us into this area, and honestly maybe he just didn't want to wander far away from sector 24.
The hunter who grabs Ishigaki finally releases him, and lets him fall into the ground, but before his body hits the concrete, he summons an aura to protect him from the impact, and lands somewhat safely, but still bruises his knee and elbow.
When Kazuki jumped past a building, he was suddenly hit by a possessed from the left, even probably a hunter with high speed. He fell and went through a glass building. I panicked and tried to follow him, but as I turned my head to the right, someone dashed towards me from my left, my incredible instinct went a little late there and got me hit by that person.

I smashed a wall to my right, my wound from the hunter's dagger was still hurting me when that happened. When I saw the attacker, I realized that he was the lost Jaeger-Yamato. He still uses his zodiac sword, only his left arm darkened by... the darkness.
"I was waiting for you to come," he said, while looking at his black arm, "This is the first time we met, I believe," he continued to stare at me sharply in the eyes, "You know, up to this point, I think you should end your adventure," the blade of Yamato's sword shone with sunlight reflecting on its steel.
I stood up, grasped my sword and was ready to fight. My stomach started to bleed again from the impact, but I held onto it. At this point, we were not ready for what's about to go down. Yamato seemed annoyed, and turned into a fighting stance.
Soon a fight broke out between us, Yamato's sword pierced the ground and spawned a giant trunk of tree towards me. I tried to avoid his attack by jumping onto the building behind me and tried to run upwards. He then stood on one of the tree's branches, and it rose up with him to my level.
When I arrived at the rooftop of said building, we started to duel. My ice element was weak against Yamato's wood element. Yamato used his dark arm to burst orbs of energy, just like the first possessed we saw when we touched down at Sector 35. I tried to deflect his projectiles, while dodging some more.
Yamato's speed was equal to that of Karito, he was very agile in jumping and dashing around. With his wood element, he was able to spawn wood spikes from his sword and launched them towards me. Some of them managed to graze my right cheek. As my cheek bled slightly, Yamato rushed forward to stab me.

I managed to dodge again, his speed was unbelievable, now I believe Yuukai's theory on him, that he is actually one of the ancient souls, one of the great ones. There's a point where I utilized my ice element to fight him, but my ice spikes keep breaking again and again. I soon realized that this fight was not balanced. I tried to bail, but I remember my teammates are in this area, and I don't want to just run.
What should I do?
