《ReWritten: The War of The Kingdoms》A Place Once Called Home

While shopping for a vehicle to fly, the thought of that man seems to have evaporated from her mind, not thinking about it again as she focuses back on the task at hand. She scans the stores that are filled with the latest trends of brooms and decides on a more modern type. Selecting what looks like a flying bike, but with no wheels and footrests instead of pedals. Jasmin hops on, feeling refreshed while speeding off. Now this is more like it. The wind in her face as she races to the fortress. At this speed, she should be there within the hour.
As Jasmin approached the fortress, she could only think of how that scum betrayed her family, stabbing them in the back. Jasmin dreamed of destroying the castle. Thinking it would be better off if it were rubble, then let him sit on her parents' throne.
Now only a mile away, she was closing in on the large metal doors. Her heart beats faster as the thought of returning to her past home fills her with anxiety. Jasmin knew this place better than most, so getting to the dungeon undiscovered shouldn't be a problem. As she turns to the back entrance, a hundred scouts on a hundred hawk tenedraugs emerge from the metal gates flying behind Gindloc. She shot straight to the ground and hid behind one of the statues. Coincidentally, it was her parent's deteriorating statue that helped her hide her from the scouts.
Did they escape already? Then again, I can't imagine a dungeon strong enough to hold all of them. Still, I must make sure. They probably sent most of their guards to find them. This would be my best opportunity.
Jasmin opens the door and scans the area to see no one. As she sneaks through the many halls and rooms, a flood of memories consumes her. Fond memories of when she was a child and the people she shared them with race back to her. She hears footsteps approaching as a man in his mid-60s and Jasmin's ten-year-old sister walk through the throne room.

Nothvan, the man who took care of her, training her day after day, is now one of the generals of this wretched Kingdom. Last time she saw her sister, she was still bedridden, not even able to play outside. They appointed Nothvan to be her guardian and with the castle's help, she would get some of the best doctors in the world taking care of her. Jasmin, trying her best to hold back her urge to give both a hug. She turns and continues to the dungeon, wiping away her tears and sprinting through the kitchen, letting the wind in her face dry her tears. Amongst all the chaos of lunch preparation, she went unnoticed as she jumps through the armory and grabs a sword, swiftly attaching it to her waist, not losing a step.
With only a short distance left, she runs down a hall filled with paintings and old suits of armor. Her eyes dart left and right as she feels an uneasy feeling that she is being watched by every suit of armor and painting she passes. New artworks of the new king and his army, replaces her family's and kingdom's history, reinforcing the fact that this is no longer the home she once knew.
She turns the corner, stopping suddenly as she finds a few men guarding the stairs that led to the dungeon. Knowing she didn't have her full strength yet, she needed to make this quick and efficient.
Taking a deep breath and then sprinting down the hall, jumping on one of the guards, sending shock waves through his body. The other two pull out their swords a second too late as Jasmin swiftly removes the doors from the hinges, smashing them between the iron door and the stone wall, while only their dangling arms remain visual.

As she rushes down the stairs, she can see a red aura lighting up the stairway. Three guards remained between her and the dungeon now. Hearing the chaos from above, the guards already had their weapons ready. Jasmin couldn't underestimate them, for these men are still knights of the kingdom, trained and ready to kill. A dozen crystal daggers shoot out of her wand, each aiming to kill. One guard instinctively creates a barrier, blocking each dagger as they clank on the stone floor.
Realizing she'll run out of energy before the three of them will, Jasmin pulls a pair of metal knives attached to her bracelets, strapping them tightly on her wrist. She let go of her energy, causing the stairway to darken, while only the guard's aura remained.
Jasmin uses the shadows as her ally, moving swiftly throughout the staircase and barely making a sound. She jumps from wall to wall, using her compact frame to her advantage. The guards frantically scan the narrow staircase, not able to find her anywhere. They remained still, trying to hear for anything when a loud thud came from above. The three guards look up as Jasmin's knives drive into two men's faces, following up with a slash to the last guard's throat. Taking the key from the guard's belt before he even reaches the ground. She slams the door open and heads straight to the cell.
"Can no one open a door normally around here?" Junichi said while waking up from his nap. Jasmin removes the cell door and throws it to the side. "Hurry, before we're all killed." Jasmin yells at them and motions to the exit upstairs.
But as they rush to the opening, the door slams back shut and the hinges reattach. Jasmin turns and sees Tazul blocking the doorway. "Did you really think I would let you escape?"

The Court of Souls?
What do we talk about tonight?~“How about a story?”~Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one.~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~Was it strong then?~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it?~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~So he became a hero and changed the world?~»…”~Tell me.~“Nooo, that’s not how the story goes. This isn’t a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was… kinder than the rest.”~A kind demon? How boring.~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~So tell the story!

The fallen (?) hero and Aži Dahāka's soul fragment
I have to apologize.A certain real life problem that I thought I got rid of has caught up to me once again.I tried to continue writing, but my mind was not in the right track to do so and thus, as some people had said, the quality of the latest 2 chapters had turned from the usual "bad" to "worst". So, I reluctantly have to say that I will be away until I can sort things out.I can't say when, but I do intend to return to writing. I might lurk around to read other people's works though. I will be turning my attention to stories with "tragedy" and "despair". The five of us were summoned to this world from our clubroom two years ago to be made as heroes.Shouldn't forceful summoning like that be counted as kidnapping?Well, we chose to go with the heroes route. After harsh training and battles, not to mention all the killings, we finally defeated the demon lord. However, all those achievements literally became nothing, it wasn't just forgotten, it was erased to be totally nothing as even the written records were somehow being disposed of. I was too naive. Who would have thought that the side we have been fighting alongside with, the side we were fighting for, was the one to bring our demise? After I had to see everyone else turn into nothingness, somehow... I alone survived. Note: I will attempt to fix the grammar problem with the help of lieutenant colonel fletterman. This may delay the release of future chapter. Chapter 1 is fixed. Chapter 2 is fixed.

Now in a thrillingly unfamiliar place, he needs to find a way to take down a goddess and fend off her angels in the process. Good thing he can wield the immense power of a deity to aid him. Author’s note: Second Chance is primarily about the flow of combat between characters, each with their own reasons for fighting. The world is dynamic, constantly changing through the story based on the actions of the characters. The story is intended to be told not just through writing, but through music and animation as well. The first music video was released along with chapter six. If you want a taste, you can find my channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2LG4UHDJYqNWn6YS5Q2CVA
