*THUD*
After returning from the tiring trial, Leon faints the moment he comes back to the hub. Good thing, the wounds on him disappear one by one as Leon falls into a deep sleep while the hub takes care of him otherwise he would have died by no. But of course, Leon is not at the state to care about these.
Like a person who is seeing a nightmare, while breaking out in a cold sweat, sometimes Leon would say mutters incomprehensible things in his sleep.
...
..
"Wake up!" a sound echoed through Leon's mind when he suddenly woke from his sleep.
After his nightmare, looking around for a few seconds while remembering the dungeon, "I wish I could kill that monster twice," Leon said while getting up from the ground. "Whatever, what happened can't be changed," Leon murmured as he checked the rewards he gained from the dungeon.
"System, show me the last rewards I gained," Leon commanded.

'Hmm, 500 gold, a sword, some points, and a new skill. Well, it really was worth my efforts,' thought while thinking what to do with his points and gold.
"Let's do it as usual," Leon said after a few seconds of thinking.
"System, put two points into intelligence and put the other into vitality and open my skill screen," Leon commanded, to look at his new skill.

"Now, let's look at you, my new friend," Leon smirked while getting the long sword out of his inventory. A sword in its sheath appears in Leon's hand.
"Aren't you a cool something?" Leon said while unsheathing the sword. Holding from its hilt with two hands, Leon looked at the sword while feeling the connection between them.
Playing with it in his hand, "Hmm, 100 cm? No 85, around 1.3 kilograms, maybe 1.4," Leon observed by himself before using analyze on it.

"No name? Then, as your owner, your name shall be... Tyrfing from now," Leon declared.
[AN ITEM'S NAME IN YOUR INVENTORY HAS BEEN CHANGED]
To adapt to his new sword, Leon started his training with it. Until now, he has been using the items that he looted from his enemies, but now he has his own companion with him on this long journey.
*SLASH*
Closing his eyes and feeling the connection between them, Leon swung it as he got used to it more and more. Cutting the air with his every swing and leaving a sound behind, Leon continued until he felt the sword like his own body part. Until he could see its shape in mind when he closed his eyes. And Leon realized that with the new upgrade, the sword's shape was looking clear in his mind.
Opening his eyes after some time, "So this is the path of sword," Leon said while sheathing his sword.
[DO PLAYER WANTS TO GO THE NEXT TRIAL?]
"Yes," Leon said before his surroundings started to change.
[TRIAL-26 IS NOW STARTING...]
While light trembled, the floor underneath Leon roared with an earthquake, and color spread to this lifeless space while painting to give life to it.

Waiting light to finish its job, some rain drops fell to the Leon's head.
"Rain?" Leon said while looking above to see thundering clouds. After a few seconds, looking again to forward, Leon saw a muddy plain while his feet got dirty from mud.
"Agh, really? I hope hub has a cleaning service," Leon joked while looking his feet.
"But isn't it a nice weather to kill..." Leon smirked while light created his enemies.
40.
60..
100...
120....
150....
"150," Leon counted their numbers. Soldiers... A unit of soldiers were directly looking at Leon.
"Analyze," Leon said in a cold voice.
[Soldier Lv.5]
[STR: 15]
[AGI: 11]
[VIT: 13]
[INT: 8]
"Weak..." Leon said when he looked at soldiers.
Unsheathing the Tyrfing and holding its hilt with two hands, "Gentlemens, no need to worry. I will quickly end this," Leon smirked while leaking his bloodlust aura without knowing.
After a second, keeping his smile on his face, Leon sprinted to them when blood pumped into his legs. As rain drops hit Leon's face harder, Leon gained more speed. To welcome him, soldiers started running to Leon too.
Meeting with each other in midway, Leon jumped as high 5 meters with his abnormal strength,
*SLASH*
and landing on a poor soldier as his sword split him into two pieces when his feet touched the muddy ground again. Leaving a corpse behind him, Leon continued his bloody path as he cut two more soldiers like a paper with his sword. It was a complete massacre. As the ground painted to red with the soldiers' blood, Leon pierced, crushed their bones with his punches, and slashed them with Tyrfing. Throwing a fist that sent the soldier flying 10 meters away while leaving a fist mark on his iron armor, Leon was sure he had shattered his rib cage.
When arrows rained upon Leon from the crossbows of soldiers, Leon cut them like nothing in the midway before they touched his body. Running around while killing the soldiers with his sword blows, he took the shape of death. The only things in his mind was cutting better and swinging it faster while he felt his sword hit flesh again and again.
Every time a head fell to the ground with a clean cut, he just jumped to the next one. Even those with shields could keep until 6 hit in front of him before their shields broken into the pieces. But in the end, Leon made mistakes too and was wounded by some of the soldiers' strikes. As he killed more, the more new wounds opened on him. Sometimes he couldn't block an arrow and sometimes a sword blow. But these wounds only made him more brutal. Like holding some soldier's head and crushing his skull or using one soldier's body to crush other, his bloodlust got stronger with every soldier he killed.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image
