《The Ash Earth》Destroying Walls

Their enemy can no longer pursue them with ease now since they're inside one room; however, the assassins outside will probably continue to pursue them.
With Silver Beards' ability and cultivation rank, they should be fine escaping from these assassins too—as long as we manage to take advantage of The Cursed Scythes' and the assassins' blind spots! Rihan concluded in his mind.
He glanced at The Cursed Scythe once before turning around—the blind assassin stood stupefied upon feeling Rihan staring at him.
"This feeling is really strange," stuttered The Cursed Scythe aloud before taking a deep breath, "Was there another expert in the report?" He continued muttering incomprehensively.
Then, just as suddenly, Silver Beard charged towards Blind Assassin, sword-swinging horizontally into his chest.
"Assassin, die!" yelled Silver Beard furiously, his blade glowing red with the intent to cleave flesh.
The Cursed Scythe quickly stepped aside, dodging the attack with gracefulness by jumping backwards in the process and imbuing strength within its scythe to counterattack at full force against Silver Beard.
Sung Li's mouth hung wide open at seeing how quick the scythe reacted which swished through the air effortlessly at blinding speed even when it shouldn't have been able to move like that at all.
However, Silver Beard managed to dodge it completely unscathed. His eyes widened while his expression turned blank.
This is a battle between experts! Sung Li watched with excitement on his face, rearing up onto his toes in anticipation of witnessing the skills of experts clashing against each other!
"You idiot! We've got to run now!" Ijohen cried out angrily.
Sung Li pouted in disappointment. That was too short—he wanted to see more—the only problem was their situation right now didn't allow for such luxuries!
Silver Beard roared savagely and swung his weapon at The Cursed Scythe once again but missed entirely as The Cursed Scythe easily blocked off his strike.

The door is completely blocked by the fight outside and they don't have enough space to escape, Rihan thought.
With that, he quickly turned behind and place his hand on the wall, "Foolish boys, you'll never be able to escape," mocked Blind Assassin with a laugh.
"This building is surrounded!" A cold chill shot down Sung Li's spine upon hearing these words from Blind Assassin.
He stares back into Rihan and Ijohen's eyes with a questioning gaze.
"Don't worry, the Institute is not without its defences." Rihan stated calmly, "Now let us get out of here together before we end up in another awkward situation." Then turning to back to face the wall.
He might still be a young boy without any cultivation at the moment; however, it wouldn't be difficult for him to destroy a wall or two using his vast martial knowledge from his past life, opening a passageway to flee through.
He channelled what little energy within his body towards his hands which started glowing faintly until finally, his fists began glowing red like fire.
Soon after, chunks of rock broke apart and flew across the room effortlessly!
With a single impact, Rihan demolished the stone wall in his room!
The three assassins outside immediately noticed this happening and tried charging into the room—but their efforts were useless.
Silver Beard and the soldiers outside managed to stop them instantly—blood covered the ground everywhere.
Rihan panted heavily as blood dripped onto his palms from where the shattered pieces pelted against his skin with incredible force.
Blood pounded inside his head with dizzying intensity.
I really shouldn't be forcing this small body too much, thinks Rihan.
"How is my cover blown so quickly?" complained Ijohen.
"The Golden Key," Rihan spoke quickly, "You're being targetted for a reason."

"Why do you think they're so bold to break into the Institute now of all times?!" asked Sung Li panicky but Sung Li doesn't seem to understand the true meaning of what Rihan had said.
"The situation escalated since the Royal Family has shown interest in The Golden Pavilion.
They must be keeping a close eye on all potential threats surrounding The Golden Pavilion's secrets—" explained Rihan calmly before stopping mid-sentence when realizing how foolish his own words sound to himself, "In other words, they've only attacked you Ijo, because you're outside of the Royal Family's protection! There's no point arguing about that any further; we should just get out of here first. That way we can discuss our next steps once we're safe somewhere else."
"Ugh, you and the assassins should take a break once in a while." Sung Li pouted, "It's hard enough escaping from assassins
Especially from a group of idiots who stumble around blindly at every chance they get—what a pain."
Rihan scoffed upon hearing his sarcastic comment—they were already trapped inside this building. Not to mention, the assassins might be chasing after them right now!
He wasn't surprised by Blind Assassin calling them dead boys, either.
"I don't need your pettiness right now," Ijohen panted. He stared blankly straight ahead as if trying not to listen to anything anymore—
As they escape into the darkness of the hallway away from the sound of battle which raged loudly behind their backs, Sung Li stares intently into the empty hallways leading nowhere.
"This damned building needs a better maintenance service." Sung Li cursed aloud, "This place will definitely fall apart sooner with the battle happening all over it like this!"
They ran towards the entrance but stopped briefly when two silhouettes stepped in front of them blocking their path instead.
So much for the Institute's defences—but I suppose we weren't able to avoid trouble entirely, thought Rihan sourly.
Two figures step forward holding weapons aimed to strike in an instant.
Both wear black cloaks covering their faces up until the bridge of their noses; only thin slits are left visible allowing a sliver of light through onto puffy red eyes beneath cold expressions.
Rihan quickly used his sense to identify the enemy standing before him.
It's a bronze master core cultivator; his rank is rather low, however, so it shouldn't be too difficult to escape one such as himself.
What worries him more though, are those who came after them. There're several assassins waiting outside as well.
If they could hold out till morning, the school's guard should arrive shortly thereafter and help them get rid of these assassins outside—but for now, they need to escape.
He looks at Sung Li and nodded.
Sung Li grabbed a pouch from his pocket and threw it at the two strangers—gasps of surprise escaped his lips upon noticing the silver coins which suddenly hit their chests from where the bag fell!
Everyone paused and stared wide-eyed at the coins landing on the floor. The assassins did not move or say anything whatsoever but merely watched on with blank stares.
All that happened too quickly, Rihan stares back blankly as the blood drained out of Sung Li's head, "Shit! My money!"
"Ah—" Ijohen stuttered.

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

Viceroy's Pride
This story could be about the Tellask Empire, ruler of a thousand suns and faced with imminent peril at the hands of the Orakh hordes. It could be about Paltai Amberell, the scion of a noble elven House, fallen upon hard times and seeking to find the key that will restore his family's name and save the Empire itself. It could be the story of his voidship, The Viceroy's Pride, powered by magic and crewed by a team of crack marines as they search for adventure and the solution to the Empire's myriad problems. Instead, this is the story of Daniel Thrush, human electrical engineer, befuddled researcher and survivor of the debacle that was first contact with a spacefaring civilization. Due to a combination of luck, magic, hard work, and more luck he is thrust into the center of events as Earth is shoved onto a much larger stage rife with semi-immortal elves and magical kingdoms that predate the Earthly invention of agriculture. Earth is outnumbered, and we have precisely one wizard. Dan. He's not very good at it, but he's going to have to learn in a hurry or watch everything he knows get torn apart by massive spacefaring empires straight from the pages of a fantasy novel. ---------- Some readers have noted that the MC tends to be weak willed and pushed around a bit. A significant portion of the story is his character growth into not being a pushover (i.e. him being passive is in the early chapters on purpose). I'm just including this caveat/warning to make sure that readers aren't surprised/upset and that they stick with it until he learns to stand up for himself. His arc begins to crystallize around chapters 25-27. If that's too long to wait, I get it, I'm just trying to do my due diligence and warn you that the character development is a bit of a slow burn. This is NOT a harem novel. Nothing against them, just not what it is. --------- Updates Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday Feel free to bother me on our discord- Discord!

Re-Re:Hammer
Your average Reborn Game System story, similar to The Gamer and Solo Leveling. Written for fun rather than novilization like the others, so it is smaller and less intense. It is set in an AU Warhammer based on a slightly modified version of Warhammer Fantasy's End Times.. So you might notice names and events but don't expect it all to go the same way. And the Main Character is not the only Player in this game~ I'm kind of a catastrophe when it comes to ethic and drive. So don't be alarmed if there isnt an update for a week or three. Or if there is three updates at once. It's a rewrite of the Rehammer that is around, which means the start is mostly the same with some small changes. Chapter 15 is the first fully new chapter of the book. though Chapter 14 has a large addition. You effectively can skip to that and not missing anything major if you read the old one, if you don't wanna rewrite.
