“You, you have to make a decision now, die for me or die by me!”
“…...”
“You have three seconds
One
Two
Thr...”
[Jissepi] “Are you positive this leads to something of value?”
[Eleven] “I have reason to believe so boss, we found it on the client, snakemen don’t usually carry maps unless it leads something important”
Jissepi pauses to think for what feels like an eternity, determining whether he wants to get his grubby hands on this potential treasure
There’s nothing he won’t do for wealth and power,
Nothing I won’t do to see him dead.
[Jissepi] “You know no one’s ever survived a night in the desert, right?
If there’s anything there of value it is indeed mine, One Eleven and thirteen, the four of us will go, anything happens always remember you are my human shields, understand?”
“Yes boss!”
***
Finally sunset
It’s already been a day walking in this desert walking on the hot sand bare feet is a different kind of torture.
Why was I sent here, I keep thinking back to ‘that’ day?
Maybe this is all a nightmare, and I haven’t woken up yet,
Maybe…...,
[Eleven] “Question
Who are you, really Thirteen?”
“Don’t know, I ask myself that same question,
You?”
“My name is Omari, across this desert there’s the kingdom of Soterra, where I’m from, some call it the grand magic city”
“Then how did you end up here?”
“Ten years ago, there was a civil war, during the chaos a as people tried escaping from the city, I was a child back then, so I don’t remember much, one of the mages I think used a teleport magic to help me escape, one thing led to another, and I ended up in debt to the boss.”

“Sounds like there’s something you’re not saying.”
“How so?”
“You don’t usually overshare.”
[Eleven] “You haven’t told me your story yet”
“….
My name is Kage and.” I shrug
“And?” Thirteen presses
“I got lost I guess”
“And you say I hide things…”
“Would you two shut up and walk further up front, the boss needs you to be far enough ahead in case there’s monsters so he can escape!”
[Eleven] “Then shouldn’t you be leading the charge Number One?”
[One] “I’m the boss’ most trusted ally, you two are in debt to him, now do as I say before I…...,
Aghh!”
Just as he’d been talking an arrow flew through his right shin
One falls face first into the sand
“Behind you!” shouts Eleven
I take one step forward
The sand below my feet somehow feels cold
Or maybe, am I…
Scared?
Cold sharp claws press against the front of my throat
A raspy voice hisses behind my ear
“Move and you die!”

Contention
August Marlow had always been an echo of those around him, finding safety in the diffusion of his presence amongst the larger group. His whole life had been a slow declination of self, trading away parts of himself to retain his sense of belonging. He'd never stepped forward to make his wants heard or to put a voice to his anger because to offer up something like that would be exposing weakness or highlighting vulnerability. With a strange system projected into his mind, an Island called Devil's Nest and without a group to lose himself within—For the first time in his life, August is forced to step into the role of the decision-maker, and the stakes couldn't be higher.

Galactic Internet: System Initializing Book 1
The Galactic Internet is a system takeover LitRPG with two MC's. It's gritty and dark at times, so I'd like to start with a brief warning. The story was made for adults, and as such contains some cursing, potentially traumatizing violence, gore, indentured servitudes. There is no sexually explicit material in the first book. However, there is nudity and sexual interactions aren't out of the scope of possibilities for later in the story. The first book is almost exclusively trying to figure out how the game works and trying to stay alive. It is a very open system that I've implemented. Expect to see anything from androids and aliens, to goblins and trolls.

Ascendancy
The Ascendancy of man has come. Humanity has risen to the stars above, spanning multiple Galaxies. Centuries of warfare and strife as each faction fought for new worlds, and territory. Then came the Empress, eternal in her glory. She unified the scattered factions under one banner, creating the Empire of Humanity. This came with opposition of its own however. Rebellion was a constant, and rampant plague upon the Empire. People who were unhappy with the status qua, and the militaristic brutality of the new Empire rose up across the Galaxy. Thus the Empire began the creation of genetically modified humans. Altered in the wombs of previously altered female soldiers to further the cultivation of the perfect super soldier. These infants are placed through a crucible of death, and a curriculum of brain washing to ensure utter loyalty to the Empire, the Empress, and those they are placed under. They kill, and slaughter without thought or feeling if ordered.Follow our newly minted Captain as he forges a path through this Empire, working for the glory of his Empress, and General. All while the Empire slowly enters the sights of an unseen, and deadly foe. -------------A.N--------------------This fiction is violent, it will have war crimes, cruelty, mind breaking situations, and a great deal of death and practicality in thought process, it is a PURELY dark fiction. the MC is not a Hero as you would term him, he is a soldier doing as ordered. This fiction is also recommended for 18+ only.

Knight’s Fate: Knight and Princess
When war finally ended, the Arcadians sought retribution from the nightmares they had suffered from demonkind. A noble Princess had taken her mother's mantle in order to uphold peace between the two races so humanity could co-exist with their fellow demons in a kingdom without strife, but war paved the road to peace in blood and such path is but a fragile thread awaiting to be ignited by the flames of hatred. Another great war awaits, but will she be able to avert it?Second iteration of the Knight's Fate saga chronologically speaking. Yes I'm starting from the second because the first was an utter failure when I tried to write it, it just didn't fit the mood of a fantasy novel unlike this one. Though don't worry this doesn't mean you can't enjoy this one before I write the first. This is the first story I've actually published so I appreciate any feedback, be it good or bad just let me know what you think.

Who Fixes Books Anyway?
On the pretense of a raise, the relatively new employee Pernie is called in to talk with her superiors. NOTE: This is a short story written for a class I took recently. As a result of deadlines, it does not possess the quality (or length) that I would like and is rather thrunkated. Perhaps sometime far in the furture I'll fix it up. For now, I have much more important things to work on, such as my other fiction.
