Those guys in black cloaks with coconut on their hands were wandering in that silent graveyard. Many things like lunatic blue orbs were flying around passing all of them. This strange smelling thin mist is just normal to appear on such a place.

'Make sure you purify the souls that pass around you.' Someone who walked on the vanguard who seems to be their leader said.

'Right!' They replied.

Their bodies let out something like a flame, and it went to those orbs. When the flame touched the orbs, they turned into white orbs.

'ong, gni brahma anglebur panca maha butha, anglukat sarining merta. mulihankene kite ring betara guru, tumitis kita dadi manusia mahatama. ong rang sah, prete namah.' They kept repeating the chant while sprinkling the coconut water to the gravestone that they passed by.

Three hours later, they returned to their shelters. Their leader entered the shelter and put off the hood letting out her long white hair that indicates that she is an old woman yet she is still beautiful. She then brushed her messy hair.

'Knock! Knock! Knock!'

She heard a knock from the outside of her shelter.

'Who's that?'

'It's I, Siwa. May I come in, Your Majesty?'

'Come in..'

Siwa opened the door slowly and saw his Empress combing her long hair. Her long white hair and scarlet eyes give her a unique impression of beauty. She let him take a seat and went to another room to get some fruits and nuts to eat. She came back and put those snack in front of him.

'Sorry for my impudence, Your Majesty. You are not supposed to treat me like this.' Siwa got awkward being treated like this by his Empress.

'It' s okay Siwa. It's our culture of treating guest, and culture doesn't have anything to do with social status at all, right?' She replied warmly.

'Then, why did you ask me to pay you a visit after our daily soul purification ritual ends?' He asked.

'Oh, I almost forgot about that.' She took a bunch of white lilies and a coconut that were on the table and opened the door. 'Let's go.' She went outside.

Siwa followed her without saying a thing.

After walking for quite a long time passing through the graveyard and forest. They found themselves on a hill. Siwa saw a gravestone with "Ratna Manggali" on it. The Empress put the lilies on it.

'How are you, my girl. Mom is okay here. Hope you are safe there.' She said putting sad eyes on her face.

Tears were rolling from her eyes while she was remembering her daughter when she was alive.

'Your Majesty. Please pull yourself together.' Siwa approached her.

'I'm sorry, I am just sad as I remember her. She is a fair and kind woman, but no one wanted to marry her because of my social status as the Empress. I was upset by it that I did something unforgivable.' She sobbed. 'But, one day, a well-manner man named Empu Bahula paid us a visit and married her. I was very happy back then that I didn't suspect him at all. I then approved his proposal to marry her and held an extravagant marriage party that lasted for seven days and seven nights. I couldn't hold my tears as how happy I was to see her smiling with her husband. I just hoped that she would be a better wife than I was.'

Siwa gave her a sheet of cloth for her to wipe her tears on her face.

'Thank you. Where were we? Oh, well.' She continued her story. 'He asked me to live in the house as he didn't want to separate me and her. I didn't feel anything suspicious back then that I approved his hospitality. Peace days were passed until that day came out of the blue.'

'What happened on that day?' Siwa was wondering.

'He stole my grimoire and gave it to the kingdom. And when the dawn came, I found my house surrounded by the royal knights. They insisted me to leave the village or they would execute me. They even threatened me that they would kill her if I didn't listen to them.'

'Then, what did you do?'

'I went berserk that I turned into Rangda and perished them and crushed the whole village and the kingdom with no exception. And yes... I am the one who killed my only daughter.' She was sobbing.

'Your Majesty...'

'I know that what I did is unforgivable. So that's why I ask all of you to stop attacking humans anymore and return to our duty to purify the wandering souls. I-'

Suddenly, she saw a dagger penetrate her stomach from her back. She coughed blood from her mouth. Her body went trembling and her head turned back. She stared at the one who stabbed her with a gaze full of hatred. It is Siwa. He put a smirk on his face.

'Bringing calamity and plague to the innocents?! Devastating the whole village and kingdom?! Killed her own daughter without even realizing it?! And now we have to shoulder your sin by purifying the wandering souls around here?! Can you be more sinful than this?!' Siwa pulled out his Wedhung from her body.

'Our job is to bless those pitiful wandering souls so they can come back to their place depending on their karma. And I didn't expect that the infamous Calon Arang killed her own only daughter just because of her own emotion blast and now she purifies the wandering souls as the proof of her atonement. Did you ever think that she would forgive thou, Rangda.' Siwa said in an eerie tone.

'How impudent of you, Leak!' Calon Arang exclaimed. 'Do you have any idea who you are talking to?'

'Just a miserable widow.' Siwa turned into his Leak form.

'I am Rangda! The Empress of the demons! I'll give you a fair punishment!'

A red light came out from her eyes and mouth. Her body was getting taller and it was full of thick and hard hair like a mane. Both of her eyes were getting bigger, her teeth were getting big and she was sticking out the long tongue of her.

'Crying over a dead person. How childish.' Leak said.

'What a cold heart you have!' Rangda exclaimed.

'Look who is talking! Well, it's true that we bless those wandering souls so they can turn into demons to attack the humans, right?'

'How inferior you are to have such a mindset! It's possible that demons and humans live peacefully without a slight conflict! I want the tragedies in the past where demons and humans were perishing each other to happen anymore. I don't want it to happen anymore!'

'Demons and humans live peacefully?! Don't make me laugh! Do you intend to do so?! Blessing their souls is disgraceful, and now I who is superior to them must kneel before them?! What a joke!'

'I think talking this over is useless.'

'If that's what you want. I'll perish you and take your position as the ruler of the demons!'

'Oh, interesting. Are you, Leak, able to put an end of your Empress who has a power equal to ten million of your kinds?'

'Don't underestimate me or you'll regret it, granny.'

'Let's end it once and for all!' Both of them rushed to each other and launched their tremendous attack that devastated the whole hill and forest around it.

"Humans and demons... Fighting together? Unacceptable!" Leak shouted in his inner.

Alfi and the others are still vigilant. Even though Leak is laying there, it's possible for him to perform a surprise attack. Suddenly black roots are coming out from the underground and take Leak body, lifting him to the sky. Those roots spread into a maze of roots that soar thirty-two feet height. A crimson aura is seen flying around his body and the maze.

'You fool! Why are you fighting with humans?! Do you have any pride as demons?!' Leak enraged.

Jeje, Buriko, Cocong, and Aoi are surprised by hearing his rage. No one dares to speak, but...

'We do this just to get him back to his real world so he can do his job to protect his world!' Jeje explained.

'Did you realize it's just futile?! There's no way anyone can get out of this palace. If you managed to do so, what will he do to you next? Right! They will dump all of you!' Leak exclaimed.

Four of them are shocked by hearing it. Alfi realizes that Leak is trying to stir them up.

'Don't listen to him!' Alfi exclaimed.

'Don't listen to him! He just wants to stir us up!' ßenlong added.

They just ignore Alfi.

'Not to mention, they might get their human army to torment you with their harmful talismans and holy verses. Do you want to end up like that?!' Leak keeps going on his provocation.

They seem to be affected by his provocation.

'Please don't listen to him!' Alfi exclaimed.

'I am the Demon King. The only one who will lead all of you! You will be safe if you follow me. You may perish me and end up like that or you perish those humans and serve me!' Leak puts a smirk on his face. 'It's your choice.'

'Cocong, get that woman.' Jeje said.

Cocong coils Kartika's body with his body out of the blue.

'What?!' Alfi, Herman, Varz, and ßenlong are surprised.

The four is about to attack them yet Jeje raises his right arm and put it down.

'You must know what will happen to her if you approach us, right?' Jeje gives them a cold gaze.

'Jeje...' Alfi is agitated as he is cornered now.

Leak bursts out laughing enjoying the rebellion. Jeje turns around and says, 'What should we do, My Lord?'

'It won't be fun if we kill them right away, right? Just torment them. And I want you to torment the Alfa.' Leak said arrogantly.

'You bastard!' Leak is getting Varz and Herman's nerve.

Alfi raises his right arm and puts it down.

'Don't get provoked. We have to make sure that Kartika is fine.' Alfi puts off his bracelet and his black cloak disappears in no time.

Alfi holds his bracelet and shows it to Leak.

'I'll do anything you want if you let her go for an exchange!' He throws his bracelet sideways.

'Alfi! Have you lost your mind?! Didn't you hear what he said before? If you die here, you will disappear for real!' Varz exclaimed.

'It's either Kartika or me, right? I would rather prioritize her. I am just an apathetic world protector. I even don't deserve to be the Alfa. So, please. Let her go.' Alfi said firmly.

He walks to Jeje. Jeje turns his head to Leak. Leak just smirks and nods. Jeje then raises his right arm and puts it down. Cocong then lets Kartika go and coils Alfi.

'Varz! Take her!' Alfi exclaimed.

Varz runs and carries her back.

'Herman, Varz, please don't attack them no matter what.' Alfi said firmly.

Buriko and Jeje are in front of him.

'Did you realized what just you have done, Alfi?' Jeje asked.

'You might perish here, you know?' Buriko added.

'As long as I can protect those I love, I won't regret it even though I have to lose my life.' Alfi answered.

'Then, eat this!' Cocong exclaimed.

'Uwwwaggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!' Knives come out from the saddle of his shroud piercing every part of Alfi's body.

His shroud is stained by Alfi's blood. Alfi coughs blood too. Buriko launches a punch to him and Jeje shoots him with the blue beam from his hands. Alfi really being beaten up by them. The noise from their torment wakes Kartika up.

She is shocked by seeing what she sees now. She sees Alfi being beaten up with his blood sprouts out every time they beat him up. She is unable to see it anymore and jumps out from Varz. She is running to Alfi.

'Kartika! Don't!' Varz and Herman exclaimed.

Leak who sees her running to Alfi summons something like a black javelin and launches it to her.

"When finally I can see you again, why did you make me see you like this? Can't you at least concern about yourself before the others? Do you think I will be happy seeing you sacrificing yourself just for my sake? Alfi... I..."

Without any hesitation on her mind, She takes a leap and jab that black javelin with her bare hand. That black javelin disappears out of the blue.

"Will protect you!"

'She negated it?!' Leak can't believe what he just saw.

'It's not negating!' She exclaimed.

Suddenly a blue javelin appears on Leak back and flies piercing his body.

'Uwwwaggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!' Leak coughs blood from his mouth,

'It's a manipulation.'

Jeje and Buriko are getting agitated as they see she is walking to their direction while staring them with a gaze of disgust. Now she looks like a fearsome figure for either humans or demons. Jeje, Buriko, and Cocong then let him go.

'What are you... DOING?!' Leak launches many black javelins to them.

"It's enough for me to see you being tormented like this. It's enough for me to see you suffer like this. It's enough... Enough... ENOUGH!"

Those black javelins are flying to their direction at a high speed that three of them that the trio won't be able to evade them, but... Cakra appears with a blue scythe on his hands and negates all of the black javelins by a single swing. He spins his scythe and blue javelins appear flying to Leak. Those javelins are piercing his body, and Cakra suddenly appears sending it flying by a heavy uppercut.

Kartika sees them as the way she looks at insects. They then stay away at him as they don't want to have a deal with her as it is just a mere death wish. Alfi is laying there with his face full of bruises and his jacket is stained by his own blood. Kartika then takes him to her lap and touches him with her hands to channel her Iru to him in order to heal him.

The emotionless Kartika drops her tears. Her tears are rolling on her cheeks and dropping on the sluggish Alfi. He slowly opens his eyes and sees her with teary eyes.

'Kar... Ti... Ka?' He said sluggishly. 'Are you alright?' He added.

'You idiot. You still worry someone else in such a condition?' She sobbed.

'I- *cough*.' He coughs blood.

His chest feels stuffy and painful. He has lost too much blood. His face is getting pale and his body temperature is dropping. His body feels cold as if he is dying.

'Stop talking already.' She said firmly trying her best to heal him.

Leak is seen coming to the surface, yet he is not coming to their direction, but to where Alfi threw his bracelet is.

"This is bad! If he has the bracelet, then Alfi can't be saved. I can't just go there and let him lose more blood. His bleeding doesn't stop at all. What do I do?" Kartika is hesitant.

Herman and ßenlong are shooting flame to Leak. Black roots are coming out from Leak body and spread catching Cocong. They are pulling it to Leak hand, and Leak uses Cocong body as a shield. Cocong is seen freaking out seeing a flame coming to him. But, suddenly Varz appears snatching Cocong from Leak.

'What a fucking sly asshole.' Varz lands perfectly with wind platform on his feet.

I am sorry, that's Varz for you. Swearing is just his daily routine.

'Uwwwaggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!' The flame gets Leak body, yet the black roots are sprouting out from his body and covering his burning body.

They are covering his body and turning into ashes. Leak looks just fine. Those black roots were like devouring the flame on Leak body and recovering him in exchange. Leak then lands and advances to Varz with Wedhung on his right hand.

Varz then parries Leak with his sword and blows a gale from his mouth to keep the distance. Leak is shoved smashing the tree trunk over there.

'Go away!' Varz is rushing to Leak to launch a counterattack by crossing his swords that have been cloaked in thunder and wind.

Leak is coming to Varz. Their weapons are clashing causing a loud crash.

'Herman! Get the bracelet already! I'll take care of him!' Varz exclaimed having a tough fight with Leak.

'Don't you dare, you inferior!' Leak licks the blade of his Wedhung.

'I'm sorry, but when I unsheathe my sword, at least the blade must be stained by my opponent blood.' Varz replied.

Leak and Varz are coming to each other attacking each other. Swords and dagger are clashing incredibly at an incredible speed. Varz crosses Leak through, and Leak feels sluggish all of sudden.

"What is this? Why am I out of Mana already?" Leak is agitated as he is out of Mana already.

'Duraduo, a thunder sword that breaks one's Mana circulation and a wind sword that cuts one's Mana circulation.' Varz points out the Doraduo sword to Leak. 'You won't get away!' He exclaimed.

'YOU BLASPHEMOUS INFERIOR!' A black aura is gushing out from his body tremendously.

'Varz! Be aware! You do cut his Mana circulation, yet he can recover it and double up the sum of Mana in his body very quickly.' Dora warned Varz.

'Tsk, guess it will be interesting.' Varz is coming to Leak and the great battle continues.

Meanwhile, Herman is coming to Alfi and put the bracelet on Alfi's right wrist. His bleeding is stopped and he has recovered already. yet, he just sees Kartika and Herman with sad eyes on his face. Kartika is unable to hold her tears any longer that she turns her head right in front of his face and starts crying. Her tears are dropping making his face wet.

'Kartika, why are you crying?' Alfi asked sluggishly.

Suddenly Varz is sent flying crushing the ground near them. Leak is coming to them with his Wedhung that has been cloaked in a black aura on his right hand. Varz cannot move fast, so Alfi and Kartika. Herman shoots a grand fire from his fist to make Leak stay away from them, yet Leak is able to pass through it with the black roots that sprout out from his body. When everything seems impossible, suddenly Jeje appears impaling his right hand to Leak abdomen. Buriko then appears launching his heavy fist to Leak's head that he can get out from Jeje's arm and he ends up crashing the ground hard.

'You... WHY ARE YOU STILL FIGHTING WITH HIM?!' Leak is enraged seeing both of them attacking him.

'We are demons that are supposed to follow our King's order.' Buriko said.

'But, we won't follow the wicked ruler that will take one of his subordinates' lives just for his own advantage. Aren't you supposed to protect us?!' Jeje exclaimed.

'In the battle, anything can happen. You should have known that!' Leak enraged.

'Really? Even Alfi who is the Alfa never does such disgusting stuff and he always ends up winning!' Jeje exclaimed.

'Jeje?!' Alfi is surprised by what Jeje just said.

'Alfi, we are sorry for what we did before. You may punish us as you want.' Jeje said.

'Aw come on.' Alfi gets up from her lap. 'At least, you are still my friends, right?' He helps her get up and smiles at them.

They smile at Alfi. He walks encountering Leak.

'It's not whether we are humans and you are demons. If we can live peacefully, then...'

All of them are approaching Alfi. He is holding something like a black needle. He injects it on the left side of his neck and something like black lines appear from it. Those lines are gathering to his back and forming a black cloak with an eye with a thunder on the pupil.

'All of us can be stronger than you.' He said showing a spark of confidence on his eyes.

'Don't get too cocky!' Leak raises his left hand.

Something like darts is seen between his fingers.

'Taji?!' Varz is getting agitated by seeing those darts.

'I'll purify the disgusting souls of yours!' Leak said.
