《Majo Magica》Chapter 45

The two kept flying to the country of Arezilia. Cleo glanced over to Itsuki and looked away, blushing a tiny bit.
Cleo:...Sorry for how I treated you and Akeru...
Itsuki: It's whatever...it was just part of your personality, right? It's okay to keep the bitch side up, tone it down a lot, and mix in your niceness in-.
Cleo: It wasn't because of the personality thing...I was jealous.
Itsuki: Jealous?
Cleo: W-Well, when she sent a letter to me requesting help...she said you both were special to her, that she would trust you with anything-
Itsuki: That's why you-?!
Cleo huffed and bonked him on the head hard.
Cleo: She was the only one that was nice to me; of course, I would get upset over that! What if she stopped being nice to me because of her trust in you or something!?
Itsuki: This girl is still a pain in the ass, no matter how she truly is...
The two reach Ci's former tower and land, Cleo looking around to see the damage down and the corpses of the AWF still there, rotting.
Cleo: How despicable...they did not even bury their fallen.
Itsuki went to Calvin's dead body that was still there. He pried his severed hands from the trident, and Itsuki held it in his hands.
Itsuki: I never knew back then...but Benjiro mentioned that Calvin took this from Julia back in the day. It's only right I bring this back to him and Aurora...
Itsuki summoned his Chamber and put the trident in as Cleo waited on him, already setting up her Link point. Itsuki quickly went to her and made his. He looked at Cleo, who just looked back at him.
Cleo: So uhm..can you...make the Link home?
Itsuki:...Are you telling me you left without making a -
Cleo: Shut up! Just hurry, it's cold here; I hate it!
Itsuki: Maybe wear more than a metal bikini then...
Cleo pouted as Itsuki opened the Link back home. The two walked back to the throne room to see everyone working hard.
Aurora: My oh my! That was quick! Good job, you two!
Cleo: It was no problem; my sand carpet got there fast enough.
Ci: I hope our sister was not too much of a pain for you.
Cleo started to say something, but Itsuki shook his head.
Itsuki: Nah, she was fine. If anything, she was a joy to be around.

Everyone in the room looked at Itsuki like he was crazy.
Ravenbeard: L-Lad, did she use something mind-control spell on ye?
Akeru: Itsuki, remember who you really are!
Itsuki: I'm not under a mind control spell, damnit!
Cleo: Besides, if he were, he would be my seat right now~
Itsuki: You are not helping...
The group, together again, helped finish the Grand Realm. After it was done, Cleo took her sisters to the two Link points after making a Link point in the throne room. Then, they all headed to the dining room for a meal and a meeting with all of that done.
Aurora: Fantastic job, everyone! With that all out of the way, we are onto the final step!
Akeru: I'm still bummed we can't see the house yet...
Ci: We still have to get you some enchanted items to pass through; we are currently looking through our options...
Itsuki: We need something that wouldn't still out too much...
Cleo: We could do underwear or something?
Akeru: Eww, no way! Then we would have to wear the same underwear!
Ravenbeard: Lass be right...it need be something that we wouldn't have to take care of.
The group all were thinking while eating, but then Ci spoke up.
Ci: Of course...why didn't I think of this before! We could give them a Tomo!
Akeru: A Tomo? What in blazes is that?
Cleo: It's a pet that is connected to your soul. It can be summoned even by someone with no magic as long as someone casts the spell. It's how many people got to experience magic back in the day before everyone held the power to use it.
Aurora: Oh, I didn't even think of it! It's such an old spell, no one these days uses it! There is no need to!
Akeru: That's great, but...how will that help us?
Ci: Easy, a Tomo can be enchanted with multiple spells. Meaning we could give you all a Tomo made from our power and be able to use Grand Realm!
Itsuki: Oh, sweet! Can you give us some overpowered Witch spells too?
Aurora: I'm afraid not...even Grand Realm would be a lot for each of you...
Cleo: You have to keep in mind the mana differences between us all...if your soul and body can't handle the amount of power a Tomo has, you will explode.
Akeru: E-Explode?!
Ci: Into a bloody mess...but one spell should be fine.

Ravenbeard: I do not think I want one if it makes me explode, lass...
Itsuki: I mean...if you think it's fine, it should be okay, right?
Cleo: If you explode, I'll make sure to bury you all at least.
Akeru: Stop playing around, please!
After dinner, they all returned to the throne room, where the four non-Witches lined up before the three Witches.
Ci: Now, hold still. We can't have interruptions, or else the spell will mess up.
They all nod as the three Witches expel their magic onto the four of them. Then after that, nothing happened.
Akeru: Did it...work? I don't feel different.
Ravenbeard: Aye...ye sure it worked at all?
Cleo: Of course, it worked! Don't question us...
Itsuki was about to say something, but he just tapped on Akeru's shoulder.
Akeru: Hmm? What is it?
Itsuki: You uhm...got a little something on your back.
Akeru tried to see as she saw a tiny white kitten hanging on her back for dear life. It had a small grey symbol on its head that looked like a bunch of circles overlapping a giant circle.
Akeru: Ah! I'm so sorry little one! Itsuki help it damnit!!
Itsuki quickly grabbed it as it jumped off him and hunkered down on Akeru's shoulder.
Akeru: I-I-Is this a Tomo??
Ci: Indeed, more specifically, that seems to be your Tomo. The symbol on its head is the Tomo Symbol, while the color is a mix of our mana colors combined.
Itsuki: Mana has color?
Cleo: Yeah, but it only comes out the color you have in rare cases, so more than likely, you'll never know.
Itsuki nodded as he looked at the other two. Ravenbeard had a black parrot with an average body and a skull head, the symbol being on its right wing. Benjiro had a crimson fox sitting next to him, about the size of Akeru's kitten, with the symbol on its tail.
Itsuki: W-Where is mine at?
Akeru: That's a good question...where is it?
Ci: Strange...did you move during the spell casting??
Itsuki: I don't think so...?
Benjiro: Ahem...I think I found it.
Itsuki blinked and looked at Benjiro, who pointed to Itsuki's pant leg. There was a tiny bit of black fluff sticking out of it as Itsuki poked it. His Tomo, a small black wolf pup, comes rolling out with the symbol on its tongue as it runs back to Itsuki.
Aurora: How adorable! Now with that, they all deserve names!
Ci: Indeed, they will be your companions from now on. They will stay that size unless something extraordinary happens.
Akeru: Special?
Ci: I won't ruin the surprise; I have explained enough.
Akeru scratched under Tomo's chin and thought to herself for a moment before speaking.
Akeru: Shiro, that's going to be your new name.
Shiro looked at her and nodded, sitting on her shoulder still.
Ravenbeard: Aye, if we be naming them...then mine shall be Clawe.
Benjiro: A name...I'm not that creative to name you.
Cleo: How about Tadami?
Benjiro: Whatever...
Akeru: What about you Itsuki?
Itsuki just looked at his wolf pup as it continued to get inside the pants leg again.
Itsuki: I think mine is defective...but since we are a team and yours is Shiro...I guess I'll name mine Kuro.
Kuro looked up and barked, running around Itsuki.
Ci: My, yours seems like the one with the most energy out of them all.
Aurora: Very fitting for Itsuki!
Itsuki: W-What do you mean by that?!
Ci: You are the most determined to do things, as Kuro is more energetic than the others. But now that you have a way into the Grand Realm before we go in...we need to discuss our last goal.
Aurora: Amani...we need to make a plan to gain her assistance.
Cleo: But first we need to find her...which is the more significant issue.
Ci: Which is why I propose we throw a large party. We shall use fireworks and such to attract her attention. She will see us having fun and then fly down to greet us.
Akeru: Are you sure that would work? How will you know that she will even be near us?
Cleo: I wouldn't be surprised if she is flying around the castle now; Amani is a curious person...anything that catches her attention, she will investigate.
Aurora: In two days, we will hold the biggest party this city has ever seen!
The group nodded, and the plan was set. Ci taught the four how to use their new companions to open up the Grand Realm. It took some time for Shiro and Kuro, but the four of them eventually figured it out as they entered the Witch's Grand Realm.

An Unbound Soul
When Peter suffers a too-close encounter with a truck, he finds himself reborn in another world. At first glance it is a perfect fantasy land. There's magic to play with, elves singing in the forest and a hyperactive catgirl neighbour. There's even a System that lets him earn skills and level up. But it isn't long before he notices that the world is far too perfect. Just why is everyone so nice? Can Peter accept the alien morality of this world's self-proclaimed protector, or will he seek to overthrow her? Set after the events of A Lonely Dungeon, a few hundred years after the rebirth of civilization, this is a story about an earthling falling into Erryn's new world and the subsequent struggles of himself and Erryn to understand each other. It's a slow paced slice of life, and while there are pieces of action, don't expect any immediate grand conflict between Erryn and Peter. Published here, scribblehub and amazon. Two new chapters a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The Empty Valley Cries Unheard
The stories can be read at any order. Phew, this story was finally finished at last! What could I say, it was a hell of a ride when I wrote it from the beginning to end. Thanks for having me on RR :D All the current chapter had already done a run on Grammarly, so hopefully it'd be more readable. ...kinda feeling lazy so calling off the edits for now. A couple of old / new attempts of combining Horror, Comedy and Absurdist elements. I'm not very good at writing Horror stories but I'd like to try once in a while. Although the first chapter may be completely screwed up, believe me--I mostly write fluffy gay scenes between two girls. It would PROBABLY become a lot lighter as we moved up the chapter count. Not for the faint of heart, but if you're like me who like some absurd or nonsensical stories, this might be right up your alley. Sorry in advance if some of the chapters seem normal lol additional tags : nonsense / absurd / parody

A Demon Lord's Reincarnation
Selina’s got a pretty active imagination. When doing math, she pretends that she is a great detective solving a heinous crime! Ordinary tasks, like a trip upstairs, turn into a perilous adventure to raid a dragon’s cave! She believes that life should be full of wonder and magic, and tries to force the world to cope with her conviction! But when Selina wakes up to remember her past life as the Demon Lord, she has to face the fact that real life is messy, and not anything like what she imagined. With ancient powers stirring, family problems, and the hectic life of a teenager, Selina will have to discover more about herself if she is going to survive the trials ahead. With the help of her best friend and a fair share of luck, she might just get through this alive. Maybe. (Updates (hopefully) on Sundays) This story started out as a flipped isekai. Instead of a hero being pulled into a medieval world, a Demon Lord is pulled into the modern world. It has since moved a bit beyond that initial premise but it is the foundation of the work. Along the way, I threw in dragons, elves, dwarves, and some vampires (but no werewolves, gotta nip that in the bud) all wrapped up in the political drama of a modern world. The story, however, will mainly focus on the characters and their development and as such, is a bit of a slow burn. It may take a couple of chapters to get into. You have been warned! (PS, please show patience for the author's notes. They're a bit crazy and don't always make the most sense. The author's a bit of a ditz. Please ignore him.)

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
