Chapter 24: A Date (Part 1)

Shera's perspective - 1 day after sending Reimi to find John Rigen

Oh, Reimi! Why are you so long? I cannot wait anymore longer, I want to see Sir Rigen!

Let's calm down, I just have sent her to go just a day, she may return here with Sir Rigen in about more 3 days.

Nothing to worry about, nothing to worry about! But why I'm still nervous? Maybe I should send a new letter to Sir Rigen immediately!

"Reimi, give me a pen and an ink box!"

"Reimi!"

Oh! I forgot that I have sent her to find Sir Rigen! Then I went towards to my table, getting a pen and an ink box to write a letter to Sir Rigen. What should I write to him? Let me think about it!

Rigen's perspective - After the dream

I had a dream about my previous world, then I met a blond-haired woman named Katia in my dream, that was so real, so real!

I was stabbed by Reimi, right? That Goddess said to me that I didn't die yet. Reimi may now very regrets what she did to me, I will swear at her when I wake up, but is that a good choice?

Ah! Then I open my eyes, the first thing I see as I woke up is a ceiling, that scene seems very familiar. Isn't that Milch's room? I was stabbed in my right waist but I don't feel hurt, that's strange?

"Sir Rigen!" - A voice called me, I can recognize it was Reimi's voice

"Sir Rigen! Thank the Goddess! You are still alive, I'm very sorry when I stabbed you, I hope you won't hate me because of this!" - Reimi said to me while showing her regret

Reimi even holding my right hand, begging for forgiveness.

Then slowly get up, I don't feel pain but Reimi keeps holding my back to help me up though I don't really need her to do that.

Reimi seems very care much about me.

Then I look down at my body which is now naked, my wound has been covered with bandages. The bandages look very similar to my military bandages, Reimi might take them from my military bag.

Maybe she had taken my key to get into my room, my room is always locked when I go out. Then I look outside the windows, it seems very dark now! How long have I passed out?

I can see Advisor is now placed at a table near me, seemed like it had been removed from my right hand during the treatment, but then my mind thought many questions.

Why did Reimi bring me here, she knew Milch is a Healer? What about Mentor's fate after I got stabbed?

Then I hear many footsteps coming out, seem like about to go inside the room. Then I see Erissen, Milch and a short-haired man who is wearing green tunic clothes walking inside the room.

I'm so familiar with those two mom and daughter, but what's about that man, who is he exactly?

"Sir Rigen! I'm so glad that you woke up! I have already prepared the dinner for you, let me put your meal here on the table!" - Milch said to me while bringing me a bowl full of food inside

"I was very scared when I saw you got stabbed, mister! But thank for my mom and also my talent so you got saved, hehe!" - Erissen said to me while bragging about her achievement

"Who is that man behind you, Eris?" - I asked Eris while pointing my right hand at that brown-haired middle-aged man

"Oh! Uncle Rer said to me he is teaching you swordsmanship, mister! But you don't know his name? That's strange!" - Erissen talked to me with a surprised expression, she said that man named Rer, is it Mentor's real name?

The man who is standing behind her is Mentor? He always wearing raggy clothes with clumsy hair and a full beard, I didn't recognize him at first!

"I know that stab won't be able to kill you, John! Anyway, seems like I have to go now, see you tomorrow!"

"Ah, I want to ask you a story about the magic item that you wear on your right hand!"

"Hope you will answer when I teach you swordsmanship!" - Mentor said to me, did he mean about Advisor?

"You will go now, uncle Rer? But you haven't eaten any meals since you got here? You may very hungry now!" - Erissen begging Mentor to stay

"Yes! You should stay here with us for the meal, Rer! Don't always rush like that!" - Milch also begging Mentor, those two mother and daughter knew him before?

"No! My disciple, I really want to leave here for my private matter and also don't want to cause trouble to Remi, I will go now!" - Mentor was a former teacher of Milch?

Then Mentor went away from the inn, Erissen and her mom had begged him to stay many times but seemed like their wish hadn't been made!

I still have many questions to ask those two, but seems like I cannot ask them now, I feel a little hungry!

Then I grab the bowl which is the meal Milch made for me, I eat the meal like a man who got starved for 3 weeks!

Erissen has gone to sleep after seeing Mentor go away from the inn, Milch is now sitting alongside Reimi to watch for my wound.

"I really want to ask you a question, Sir Rigen! Why did you got stabbed? I was very worried when I saw miss Remi and Rer got you here!" - Milch asked me, she wants to know the true story behind my wound

It's a very hard question to answer! I should answer it before Reimi could, she is a muscle-brain person so I think she is not smart enough to get rid of these situations.

"That wa-" - Remi was about to talk to Milch

"That was just an accident, Milch! I had asked Reimi to have a spar with her with real swords so that was my fault to let myself get stabbed!"

"You were so careless, Sir Rigen! Please don't do those dangerous things again! About you, miss Reimi! You should have stopped Sir Rigen to make that choice!" - Milch not also criticized me but also Reimi, I think that was a win-win

"But Sir Rigen! Th-" - Reimi was about to talk again, how long can make her understand what I meant?

"You should shut your mouth off and listen to Milch, alright, Remi?"

"But...........Yes! I understand, Sir Rigen!" - Reimi seemed to feel more guilty after this

"It is really late now, Sir Rigen! Seemed like you have done eaten the meal, I will clean it now!"

"Your room key has been lost now but I managed to prepare another one for you, just keep it!" - Milch said to me while giving me another room key

"What about my room, madam Milch? I just left my money bag back on my horse!" - Reimi asked Milch, hoping that woman to lend her a room, how careless this girl can be?

"Don't worry about that! I can share my room with you, Reimi!"

"Shared room!...Are you really fine with me, Sir Rigen?" - Reimi asked me while her face turned red

What's wrong with this girl?

Then Milch seems to open a slight smile, she cleaned my meal and goes back to the kitchen, before going back to the kitchen, she whispered to me.

"I hope you know what are you going to do with Reimi, Sir Rigen! Please tell her to low her moans while you are doing with her!"

"I don't want my daughter to be wakened up in the middle of the night!" - Milch, what were you thinking in your mind about that?

Then I grabbed all of my stuff and then got back to my room, while going back to my room. I had lent Milch a pillow and a bedsheet because one person needs to sleep on the floor.

My room's bed only fits one person, my motto for girls is "lady first!" so I will sleep on the floor.

Reimi's perspective

I was the one who stabbed Sir Rigen but he diverted that story he got stabbed by me in an accident. I was so grateful to hear him saying that, I must fulfill my duty to protect Sir Rigen and Her Highness till the end!

Then I went with Sir Rigen up to his room, Sir Rigen saw his bag has been ransacked because I was so rushed at the time I picked up the bandages inside his bag to save him.

Sir Rigen later fits his bag back like normal, he also places a pillow and a bedsheet on the floor for a person to sleep.

"Sir Rigen! You are so kind to me! But why do you have to do that?"

"Reimi! That is very hard to say but I just want to bring the good things to the people around me, that's all!" - Sir Rigen said to me

"Because you are a simp!" - Advisor suddenly said to Sir Rigen, I don't know exactly what is the "simp" meant

"Shut up Advisor, you are the most useless here! Reimi is more useful than you!" - Sir Rigen started an argument with Advisor

"I don't say that wrong! Reimi, remember these things I am about to tell you! John Rigen is nothing more than a simp. Last night, he has just gone to bed wi-" - Advisor was about to tell me something

But Sir Rigen somehow forced it to shut up.

"I will let you sleep all night!" - Sir Rigen said to Advisor then put it in front of the table near the window, I can see Advisor's board has turned black

"You sleep on the bed, Reimi! I will sleep on the floor!" - Sir Rigen said to me

"But!"

"This is the thing a man should do for a woman! Just get on the bed!"

"Thank you very much, Sir Rigen! I won't forget what you have done for me!"

"This is a very normal thing! Your face seems a bit tired now, rest!" - Sir Rigen asked me to sleep

Then I get on the bed to sleep, about Sir Rigen, he lay on the floor with only a bedsheet to warm him, I wonder if he is now cold or not.

"Are you alright down there, Sir Rigen? Is it really cold?"

"Not really! Thank you for caring about me, Reimi!" - Sir Rigen said to me

"Sir Rigen, may I ask you one question that I was always thinking about?"

"Ask!"

"There was a person who said to me that if I kiss a man then I will get pregnant, is that true?"

"Who taught you that?" - Sir Rigen asked me

"My late mother!"

"That's not the way a woman gets pregnant to born a baby!"

If what Sir Rigen said to me is true, then how does a baby get birth?

"I want to know how to create a baby, can you teach me about it, Sir Rigen?"

Then Sir Rigen went silent for a few seconds, it was quite long for me, then he answered.

"Of course, I can! If you don't mind, I can teach you in this room, tomorrow night!"

"I'm very grateful to know, thank you very much, Sir Rigen!"

"Anyway, good night, Reimi!" - Sir Rigen wished me to have a good sleep

"Good night, Sir Rigen!"

Then I close my eyes, trying to sleep, I will stay with Sir Rigen one more day before thinking about going back to Her Highness.

Though I was very upset when Sir Rigen decided not to go back with Her Highness but that was his choice, I respect him.

About Lerer, I think I should keep my eyes on him a little bit more for Sir Rigen's safety before going back.

John's perspective - Tomorrow morning

I finally woke up after a nice sleep with Reimi in my room, I will surely turn off Advisor all day for now, that new kind of Artificial Intelligence is so annoying to me.

About the thing I said to Reimi the night before, it was half joke half-truth, really I just joked with her that I would teach her to make baby.

But honestly, I want to have a one-night stand with her, but if she chose not to do it tonight, I would stop my sexual harassment.

Otherwise, I will have to teach her fully, poor Reimi! I got a bit confident with women after doing that with Milch, my mind is now a bit crazy with it, I hope I can control my mind!

I am now thinking that I will go to the Adventurer's Guild to make some quests to earn money, I won't make any moves to Mentor's house to learn swordsmanship as long as Reimi is still with me.

I don't want to be stabbed again, being stabbed by beauty is quite nice but if you got stabbed and then died before you could make any relationship with that girl is quite a waste of your life!

I had asked Reimi before I got to sleep, looks like the calendar that this world used is similar to my previous world, today is Saturday according to this world's calendar.

It's a weekend, I remembered I would have a date with someone when I got to Adventurer's Guild but I can't remember who that was, maybe I will head to the Guild after having breakfast.

Then I look at Reimi, she is now still sleeping though most of the people have woken up at this hour, maybe I will let her sleep for a little longer.

Then I pat Reimi's head, her long red-haired is quite smooth and soft, sorry you poor girl! But I will be gentle with you tonight, nothing to worry about! Let's hope that she won't get pregnant my child tonight.

But if I look at what I am about to teach Reimi, it can be considered a kind of punishment for her because of stabbing me, isn't that too heavy? I asked myself.

"Ah, Sir Rigen! Good morning!" - Reimi greeted me while rubbing her eyes, maybe she woke up because of that head pat

"Good morning, Reimi! Go brush your teeth and eat breakfast, I will go to the Adventurer's Guild after the meal, you can come with me if you want!"

Brush your teeth before going to eat or going to eat then brush your teeth, I always wonder what part should I do first!

Then Reimi and I cleaned up the bedsheet and the pillow, Reimi said that she would return them to Milch so I let her do that.

When I going downstairs, about to brush my teeth or have breakfast first, I heard a knock coming out from the outdoor of the inn.

"Is anybody home, I'm a Guild messenger, I came here to deliver a letter, please come outside!" - A voice coming out from the other side of the door

Then I opened the door, in front of me is a blue short-haired girl wearing the blue outfit of Guild messenger, she is wearing a bag packed full of letters, that messenger looks at me.

"Is anybody named Rigen live here?" - That girl asked me

"That's me!"

"This is your letter, mister! I'm going now, thank you for using our service!" - That girl did a military salute to me then ran away from the inn

I wonder how did the people of messenger guild in this world learn our world's military salute, is that their Guild's custom from a long time ago?

Then I notice the letter, it is written by Princess Shera, I wonder why she wrote this letter too fast though she said she would send me a letter one day a week.

But anyway, she seems very care about me, she may have something important to say.

Holy Jesus! Shera's handwriting is now on the level of Gods, they are more badly than before, seemed like she has written the words so fast and also negligent, I managed to read what she wrote:

Sir Rigen! Did Reimi get to your place? Why she is so long? Have you decided to get back to me? I'm now waiting for you, Sir Rigen! I cannot sleep tonight! I always thinking about you since the day you went!

Did Reimi do something to you, Sir Rigen? Please come back here for me, Sir Rigen! I swear I will consider you as the person who gets most guarded. My brother cannot harm you anymore, if he harms you, then he is messing with me!

Please come back, Sir Rigen! I know Reimi is quite annoying with her ignorance but please forgive her! I'm waiting for your return, Sir Rigen, please come back to me, soon!

I will wait for your return, Sir Rigen!

What is this? Shera has confessed her thoughts to me in this letter, seems like she is very looking forward to my return but sorry, Princess! I will stay here for a little longer, I hope she won't be upset about it!

"Sir Rigen, I have returned the sleeping stuff to madam Milch! What is that on your hand, Sir Rigen?" - Reimi curiously watched the letter

"Oh! Your Princess sent me this!"

Then Reimi looked closer at the letter, she immediately freeze, her face showed a lot of fear, her hands are shaking, also her mouth.

"What's wrong, Reimi? Is there something wrong with the letter?"

"No, no, nott! I mean nothing! Not, nothing's wrong, Sir Rigen! Haha! Haha! Ha!" - Reimi trying to make a laugh but I can see her smile is full of fake, her voice also trembling

I wonder what's wrong with the letter from Shera, especially the two last lines before she wrote her name, it looked like a code or something like that.

Reimi's perspective

I have turned on Her Highness's second personality, the most nightmare!

Her Highness always likes to send me the codes that words have been cut short to become signs like those from the letter Sir Rigen is now holding, that's her hobby.

Sir Rigen of course didn't know that, he is now still curious about the code.

If I remember correctly, the code Her Highness sent me will be translated into:

"Reimi! If you have some feelings for Sir Rigen, then you have chosen death!"

"Sir Rigen is mine, and he's always mine!"
