After 5 minutes, the sound of footsteps from the hallway could be heard along with the sound of moving cellophane resonated. Keira quickly moved and grab a large pan from the kitchen.

System 999: [ !!! ]

Keira hid behind the front door. The front door opened, and the moment that Rick stepped in, a powerful bang reverberated in the room and the outside hallway.

With one swift motion, Rick fell down face flat to the floor.

System 999: [ (°□°) ]

Not a word could escape from the system due to shock.

Keira wiped the sweat sliding from her forehead, "Phew, that sure felt great. It felt like I hit a home run!"

'It's a good thing that his head didn't come flying off!' System 999 thought to itself.

Keira crouched down and started stripping off Rick's clothes.

System 999: [What are doing Host?! Σ(°□°)]

Keira: [Exacting revenge of course.]

System 999: [But why are you unclothing him?]

Keira: [To take embarrassing nude pictures of him. Two could play at that game.]

System 999 could hear the creepy series of 'hehe' laughs coming out of its Host mouth once again. The system quietly lit a candle for Rick.

Keira carefully positioned Rick to a 'magnificent' pose. She carefully took a step back so that the body won't fall to avoid making all the effort worthless. Keira grinned, grabbed the phone, and took more photos.

The sound of shutters and flashes from Keira's phone filled the room. Her gallery was packed with humiliating photos that could destroy Rick's life and dignity. The system would even sometimes wonder how could an ugly angle be possible, but its Host never fails to surprise System 999.

System 999, 'How can his unconscious body maintain such a mortifying pose?!'

System 999 began to rethink again her knowledge of the human body's capabilities. It thought, 'indeed I have misunderstood the balance and flexibility a human could have.' The system nodded its head from the new understanding it obtained.

Done taking pictures, Keira clothed Rick again and put the stolen phone back in his pocket. Keira felt extremely tired and weak. She had completely forgotten that her body still has a high fever despite her mind being clear.

Keira panted, "Haaa, Elly could you control Rick back to his car and drive back home?"

System 999: [Yes can do Host. However, this service would cost experience points.]

Keira's head throbbed, "Just do it, and oh, keep an eye out on him for me. I want to find out his miserable state later hehe..."

At Keira's command, Rick's body stood up mechanically and began to walk towards the door outside with his eyes closed. Whether people would look at him weirdly for walking with his eyes closed or be stopped by the cops for driving with closed eyes is not Keira's problem anymore.

System 999: [Host, the mind clarity is about to expire in 3 minutes.]

Keira weakly mumbled, "Okay..."

System 999: [You are not going to cancel the fever effect Host?]

Keira: [Nope.]

Keira walked to the couch and sat with her head laying on the sofa's backrest. She closed her eyes as if she was embracing the fever and letting it succumb her. System 999 could not help but be curious about its Host's actions. It was sure that its Host does not like pain and discomfort but would occasionally bear it for the mission task.

System 999: [Why are you not canceling its effect Host?]

Keira: [It's part of my plan, you will see in about a minute from now when the mind clarity buff runs out.]

With that, the system decided to not ask any further questions and wait for the buff to wear off.

Keira: [Oh... But before that, post the pictures online.]

System 999: [What? Σ(°□°)]

Keira: [Post the pictures anonymously online. Heh, I should thank that Rick guy for being too lenient and not actually spreading my photos online, but unlucky him, he just has to make an enemy out of me. This is how you properly ruin someone's life, Rick. Hehehe...]

System 999: [Host is so cool! (≧∇≦)/ ]

Keira, 'This system of mine must be brain dead.'

Just before the minute was up, a knocking on the door sounded again.

System 999: [Host, it's the male lead outside your door!]

Keira: [My protector is finally here.]

System 999: [Wait, what do you mean protector Host? Weren't you just avoiding the male lead just earlier?]

Keira: [My poor Elly is still as stupid as ever. :) ]

System 999: [QAQ]

Keira: [Now let me sleep, the strong fever would cloud my mind once again in a few seconds.]

The knocking on the door never ceased until Keira's closed her eyes and with that, the buff finally disappeared. Keira immediately lost consciousness. She didn't even need to put herself to sleep. The actions she did with Rick took a toll on her already tired and sick body. Now its effects finally came to bite her. Keira's body heat immediately soared high to a dangerous level.

The person on the other side of the door felt no movement inside the apartment. Various thoughts came into Ezekiel's mind. Earlier when he 'encountered' the woman living in this apartment, she immediately caught his attention. He couldn't shake the feeling that this very person is someone he must take home and never let go of at all cost.

He was confused about his feelings at first so he decided to go to that woman's office but the department head stated that she didn't come to the office. So Ezekiel asked his secretary to send her address. Before he knew it, he was already heading towards the place written on the address.

For some reason, he was nervous yet excited. Various emotions that he had already forgotten, reappeared exactly like those times when his 'Keira' was still present. But just as he was contemplating whether to approach the apartment unit or not, a person was already heading there.

This straight away plummeted his excited mood. A dark aura loomed on his person as he watched the guy go inside Keira's apartment unit, who then soon later, got out to buy 'things' from the pharmacy nearby, and returned back to the apartment. Only 20 minutes had passed and the guy was already outside the apartment with his eyes closed like he was satisfied with whatever happened inside the apartment.

Ezekiel gritted his teeth in anger as he began to visualize what Keira and that man did in the past 20 minutes for him to walk out of the house with eyes completely shut like he was deeply thinking of something that pleased him.

Ezekiel watched the man go to his car and drive away with a dark look. After the car disappeared into the distance, Ezekiel strode towards the apartment. He knocked on the door and no response came, not even a slight noise could be heard inside. This only made him speculate even more and he instantly got angered by his own thoughts.

Without even waiting for the person residing in the apartment to open the door, Ezekiel broke his way through. He saw Keira weakly laying on the living room couch. Her face flushed looking like she had just finished doing something indecent. This further ignited Ezekiel's thoughts and before he realizes it, he marched to the unconscious Keira.

He lifted Keira's collar causing Keira to let out a groan. Ezekiel instantly realizes that something was wrong after Keira barely reacted aside from a painful groan. Seeing up close, although Keira's face was red, her face was frowning indicating that she was either in pain or extremely uncomfortable. Small pants were escaping her soft lips and her body was shivering and trying to hide from the cold.

Ezekiel checked Keira's temperature by resting the back of his palm on her forehead. It was scalding hot. Ezekiel checked the temperature on her neck and it was still extremely hot.

"Hey." Ezekiel asked but no response.

Ezekiel gulped in fear and asked again, "Keira?"

No response came as expected. He didn't understand why he thought that this woman in his arms would reply and call his name like the old times. For some unknown reason, he just knows... Every fiber of his being is telling him that this person in his arms is the same person as the Keira that he deeply loves.

Ezekiel's hand shook as it slowly approached Keira's face. His hand landed on her face and slowly started to feel each part of her face. Trying to carve out the shape and texture by his hand of the new face of his loved one.

"Ugh..." Keira groaned again and her breaths became shallower.

This brought Ezekiel's attention back to the alarming matter at hand. He carried Keira's unconscious body in his arms and lifts her up swiftly. He exited the apartment and brought her to his car. Prior to when he started driving, he called his assistant to prepare a VIP room at the hospital that he owns. Ezekiel cast a glance on his side where Keira was weakly laying. Worry was present in his eyes but relief and happiness are what overpowered his emotions.

He kissed her burning forehead and started driving the car to the hospital.
