As group finally reach the entry of the forest, they immediately blow out the fires of their torches and prepare their weapons for any enemies that might encounter but as they dive deeper into the forest they found a dying hearth with several people talking to each other. “Shhh I think it them” Mili whispered. “No shit lady” Kit uttered. Mili stared at Kit as El said. “Leave them to me.” “Sorry? What?” Kit said. However before Kit say anything more Mili grabs his mouth and El abruptly waves his wand and points at the people around the dying hearth. Swiftly a magical mist begin to surround the people consuming the whole open field covering even the hearth then and there the people starts collapsing one by one until all of them are on the ground laying. “Woah what did you do?” the two said. “Sleep spell” El replied. “Well you should tell that earlier” Mili said. “You make me nervous there” she added. “What do you think he’s gonna do throw a fireball?” Kit uttered. “Wait, you already know?” Mili said. “Of course I do” Kit replied. “No he did not” El retorted. “Any way let’s move on before the spell run of” he added. A few further away from the small camp, the abandoned mine can be seen surrounded by shrubberies and few broken crates and a few light torch guiding the way. “Ok before we enter should we organize first?” Mili said. “Right I forgot you’re here” Kit retorted. “Really? Right now?” Mili replied. “Ok guys’ peace please” El said as he waves his wand swiftly a few time pointing at both Mili and Kit. A magical essence suddenly surrounds both Mili and Kit enveloping their body, Mili can feel her body become light but her strength is still there, she then grabs her sword and practice swinging. “Woah ok chill, I know the feeling but you can cut me in half” Kit said. “Sorry but what did you do?” Mi asked El. “I casts strengthen spells as well as defensive ones, you said prepare right?” “Well as said organize meaning create a plan of attack or something” Mili replied. “Oh sorry about that” El. “We are not really that kind of team we just trust and adapt kinda team” Kit retorted. “What? Glad you survive that long being an adventurer” Mili replied. The two boys just look at each other and just smile and nods at Mili. “Well so what’s the plans coz I can’t trust him” Mili said pointing at Kit. “What?” Kit retorted but before he can say more words El interrupts and said. “Well I guess just attack the enemy and leave the protecting to me? If that make sense” “I can live with that, let’s go then” Mili replied.

The three individuals goes further deeper into the mines, the torches flickers as they passes each one until they reach the most largest space in the mines. It’s space it unlike the narrow path they took, its large as the room of the town hall creating an eerie feeling for Mili and as they all step further inside they see a bunch of tables and chair arrange in a formal manner and at the end of this cave hall a single chair is place overlooking the whole area.
“Who we have here” a deep voice said. A large shadow emerge behind the chair at the end of this cave hall and as the figure further walk into the light his appearance became clearer. A blonde hair bright as a gold bar his eyes dyed red of hunger, his skin pale as snow but was covered by elegant clothing befitting a royal and on his right hand he drags a large Warhammer creating a chilling noise vibrating throughout the whole cave. But before he steps closer Kit shouted “El, Mili now!”
Kit launched forward sword at hand slashes at the unknown individual but swiftly parried by its hand. “How uncivilized” the figure said. “Don’t look in the eyes!” El shouted. Kit quickly closes his eyes then makes another slash again but now blocked by the individual’s weapon. Seeing this Mili moves forward slashing toward the enemy however the enemy evaded, then it makes its attack using his hand spearing towards Mili then out of nowhere a blue hue shield emerges blocking the enemies attack. “Thanks!” Mili shouted. “A caster” the enemies muttered quickly finds El eying him then disappeared in front of the two. “El!” Kit shouted. “I know!” El replied as the figure appears and makes his attack using the Warhammer at El, though as the Warhammer fell onto El’s body, he disappeared. “Smart one ey” the unknown enemy said. “I accept that praise from a vampire” El said as he appeared near the two. “Smart indeed, and how did you find out if may I asked?” the vampire said. “Cult of the Progenitor I read it before” El said as the three prepares for more intense battle. “From a book huh?, we are getting remembered, although in a bad light” the vampire said. “My name is Baron Schneider von Hielden, please to be you acquaintance, names?” the Baron continues with a bow of courtesies. “Kit, this is El and that’s Mili, blood drinker” Kit answered. “Well then shall we continue” the baron replied then vanished.

He materializes at the middle of the three and swings his Warhammer; El blinks away, Kit’s dodges but Mili blocks taking the full brute force of the attack yet were only moved few inches away from where she was before. “Interesting” the Baron mutters then quickly follows an attack this time his claws extend from his fingers and directly shots at Mili but then again block by the magical shield that appears again in front of her. “Irritating, caster” The Baron said and suddenly banish and appears at the same time besides El and made his move but he was hit by a thrown dagger making him miss an inch then he quickly follow up with a kick but was block by the same magical shield now appears in front of El. Kit quickly moves forward and made an attack but was slam by the Baron’s arm throwing him away far from El and him. Mili saw this and makes her move but quickly countered by the Baron’s Warhammer thrown towards her. Then the baron continues his attack at El grabbing his neck up. “Now die” the Baron uttered but before he squish El’s neck, Kit appears at the Baron’s back and stabs him. The baron looks at Kit “Pathetic” he said and proceeds to choke El’s to death.

CW: Contains mildly graphic scenes of violence/death, topics of unwanted pregnancy/abortion, scientific experimentation on sapient beings, depression/suicide, grief, and trauma. The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. On Hiatus Until September When the School Year Begins and Mom This story takes a considerable amount of time and mental energy to complete. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. We'll resume in September when my days are much freer. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for a different storytelling romp more suited for a serial platform in the meantime.

Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
