《Noah's Ark》Chapter 7: Return

“It seems like you and Hina are close.” Raion said as he was running besides Doriama.
“Close is an understatement.” Doriama laughed as the continued to run towards the clan’s base.
“What is your relationship with her anyways?”
“We go way back. But that story is for another time.”
Both Raion and Doriama traveled a great distance after passing the gate. They traversed through the woods, passed rivers and even across mountains before reaching their destination.
“It’s right up ahead.” Doriama pointed as the closed in on the base.
Raion and Doriama finally stopped at the location. It was a small farming village. The fields weren’t large, but it had an abundance of different items growing. As both of them continued walking into the village the farmers who were hard at work slowly popped up their head one by one looking at the two.
“Hey is that...”
“Yeah I think you’re right he is...”
“NO WAY!”
Whispers. Murmurs. Talking. Until finally an eruption of excitement blanketed the farmers.
“DORIAMA’S BACK EVERYBODY!”
All the farmers gathered towards Doriama and Raion showing their excitement. Doriama turned towards the farmers and raised his fist in the air.
“TONIGHT WE’RE GOING TO PARTY!”
All the farmers raised their fist in unison.
“Wow they really love you here.” Raion tacked on as he saw the enthusiasm in everyone.
Doriama waved them goodbye and both of them headed deeper into the village until the stumbled upon a small pub.
“We’re here Raion.”
Doriama pushed open the door.
“I’M HOOOM-”
A fist came and punched Doriama in the face.
“IDIOT.”
A man shouted at Doriama as he twisted his fist on top of Doriama’s head.
“Umashiro, nice to see you again.”
Doriama grabbed the top of his head in pain.

Umashiro was a tall man with short brown hair. He was wearing a butler type get up that was black and white. Umashiro looked at Raion.
“I see you brought a visitor.”
Doriama stood back up and patted Raion on the back.
“Yup, this is going to be our candidate for the tournament.”
Umashiro’s jaw dropped as he stared at Raion. Umashiro closed his eyes sighed heavily.
“You know Doriama, they’re not going to let him participate.” Umashiro turned to Doriama once again. “Even if they did let him participate, we have way more capable members than him.”
Umashiro turned towards Raion.
“No offense kid, but I don’t know how good you are, so I can’t just blindly trust a stranger.”
Raion looked back at Umashiro.
“I understand. No offense taken. This was something that was just sprung on me to be honest.” Raion laughed faintly. “Having said that, now that I’ve been given this opportunity, I’m not going to let it go.”
Raion stared down Umashiro.
“But you know...for a clan’s base, this village is pretty small no?”
Umashiro darted his eyes towards Doriama. Doriama looked away from Umashiro.
“Well for starters, our base used to be A LOT bigger until someone had to go and commit a taboo.”
Doriama whistled in the air.
“Now now, the past is in the past.” Doriama interjected. “Let’s worry about the future now shall we?” Doriama wrapped his arms both Umashiro’s and Raion’s neck.
“Let’s talk about the tournament.”
Umashiro peeled Doriama’s arm away from him.
“There’s nothing to talk about, he can’t enter. He doesn’t even have our clan’s mark.”
Doriama looked at Umashiro right in the eyes.
“You can’t mean...”
Umashiro turned towards Raion and pointed at him.

“You’re gonna give him the mark.”
Doriama nodded. Umashiro let out another sigh.
“Alright. I’ll go get the stuff.”
Raion looked surprised.
“I thought you’d be against this from the way you were acting before.”
Umashiro shrugged his shoulders.
“Well normally I would, but the boss here is stubborn once he’s made a decision.”
Umashiro went into the back of the pub and grabbed a bunch of items and placed them on the counter of the pub. Raion made his way to the counter and looked at the items.
“These look like mixes for a drink...”
Umashiro and Doriama smiled at each other.
“YEP!” They both shouted in unison.
As Umashiro was preparing the ingredients, Doriama began talking to Raion.
“Since you’re quite new to this mark giving thing let me explain the procedure on how this works. Each clan has their own ritual of giving their mark to their new members. So members go through a trial, others complete task, some even isolate themselves for months to get it. It all depends on the clan’s leader. For us, we drink a special mixture which sets your body in a state for me to pass my mark to you.”
Raion thought about it for a second and brought up a point he remembered.
“But you said it’d be like two weeks for me to get this mark.”
Doriama laughed.
“Yeah it’s supposed to be two weeks of drinking. The drink is strong and you’re body has to get accustomed to the changes.”
“Wait...”
Doriama patted Raion on the shoulders.
“That’s right we’re going to fit two weeks of drinking in three days.”
Raion’s eyes widened.
“Hold up...I’m not really a good drinker...”
Doriama wrapped his arms around Raion’s neck.
“Don’t worry, after these two nights, you will be.”
Raion’s face was in anguish from the thought of it.
“Aww shit...”

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

The Adventurer's Guild(master)
In a world of adventure, magic, and kingdoms, only one man can keep it all from falling apart. As much as he wished that wasn't the case. This is the story of the man who became the guild master of the most prestigious adventurer's guild in the kingdom, and then came to completely regret that decision, as he is forced to keep the peace, file paperwork, and babysit adventurers. The life of a guild master is not as great as it once seemed. Note: The prologue is an extended -probably should have not took it that far- joke and is completely skippable from the rest of the series. This is my first work on this website, or on any website to be honest, so criticism is more than welcome. Feel free to leave comments on any chapter, not just the latest one.

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.
