We Are Alive Once Again?

Rex's Undead Army

*Gasp* . . . . . *Heavy Breathing*

*looks around confused* I . . . . . I'm alive again . . . How?

Come Forth and Rise Again ~Raise Undead~

"Yes!" A Male voice said.

I looked to where the voice came from "Who is he?" I asked

"None of us know" A voice on my side answered back

I looked to the side and saw the Orc leader, the orc stood next to the marine who killed him.

"what's going on? and why are you not attacking each other?" I asked another question

They both smiled and responded "because we are now on the same side." they responded

"Now stop asking questions and look and watch him, he will answer all the questions you have." the marine said

I looked at the man as he kept on repeating the phrase from earlier, he then said yes afterwards, this continued two more times then he stood still, he said something new then a staff appeared with a piece of paper.

He had a book appear, after sometime he chanted again and more dead bodies came to life, I then understood that I did die, I looked at myself and saw I had no marks besides the arrow scar, the chunk was replaced by new flesh.

"I'm an undead . . ." I said in disbelief "we all are." The orc leader said.

As the others regained themselves we all watched the strange man, no he was our savior, he brought us back to life.

How? None of us know but we are grateful, the field was full of our blood yet somehow it was beautiful, we watched as this man brought more and more of our friends back.

Eventually everyone was back at least those who were not ashes or too far gone, the man looked around as he fell to his knees, he looked up and said one last thing.

"All of you, sorry but can you take me somewhere safe, preferably away from living creatures including your own kind." the man said as he tried to chant again.

But before he could finish he fell to his stomach and all that you could hear was a,

*Thump*

As the man fell and went quiet we all looked around and we saw just how many of us he brought back, all of the orcs, everyone from the 2nd battle group and some from the 5th battle group who made it over to us.

A lot were too far gone and could not come back to us it seemed, I looked around confused as all of us just gazed at the man who brought us back to life, he just laid on the ground even though there was dried blood everywhere.

A voice called out to us all "Well what are you all standing around for?" We all turned to look at the voice to see who said that, and there he was the Lieutenant Colonel Hudson in all of his glory

"Who are you to ask us that?" An orc said

"That man brought you back to life fella, It is the least we can do, or are you too dumb to understand that?" The LTC said.

"Why you stupid-" before the orc could finish he was cut off "that's enough he is right." another orc voice said.

I looked to see who this orc was, and sure enough it was the orc Trek.

"We orcs pay back those who help us, and I think this man deserves our help." Trek said

All of the orcs began to speak to one another and finally one said,

"Why should we listen to someone who got killed by a mere soldier?" an orc blurted out

"We all died, what difference does it make? You died, I died, we all died, and yet here we are standing on our two feet." Trek said.

After a long silence, Trek began to walk over to the man who was on the ground, Trek then picked up the staff, while he tried to lift the man up with his one open hand but could not.

Then the LTC came over to trek and helped him out with holding the man up, the LTC was an older man reaching his late 40's.

After seeing the LTC try his best to lift the man, a female medic walked over and held the man by his feet while Trek held the staff, Trek then spoke.

"we can bring him to the mountain, it's been abandoned for many years, we used to mine metals there but then the Gates appeared." Trek said

"Wait, there are other Gates here?" The LTC asked

"There was but those ones closed after some time, they came into our world and destroyed our homes, they were like us with swords and magic . . . You are the first ones that did not possess magic of your own besides the weapons you use." Trek said

"What happen to them?" the LTC asked

"We don't know one day they stopped coming and the Gate closed, and that was about a year ago, then we saw you humans and attacked you before you could attack us." the orc chuckled as they began to walk towards the mountain in the distance.

They kept talking back and forth about their daily lives in each other's worlds, as they kept talking more and more orcs and humans followed them including the wolves and ogres.

I guess everyone thought that this was the best route, we all are dead and are in the man's debt, as more people and creatures followed them I looked around and saw my helmet, Was it still live? Does that mean other people are seeing this?

I picked the helmet up and smiled while I spoke

"I . . I'm Alive again" I said with a smile.

I then smashed the camera on the helmet, and threw it back on the ground, I Went to catch up with the large horde of creatures and began to speak to the different creatures and soldiers.

myself and my second brother watched as our older brother fought hundreds of thousands of orcs, it was hopeless even we could see that, yet they still fought like they could win.

Why? . . . . Why did they keep fighting instead of running? . . . .

I will never understand that, as the end reached near as my brother was the last standing, he took his helmet off and laughed as he looked into the camera.

He then began to say goodbye, he said he avenged our parents, he said it was time for him to part ways with us, all we could do was cry as he was killed in front of us yet he was so far away.

The orcs pounded their chests as they gave him a smile, my brother had a hard time speaking as he was on the verge of death but he said "you orcs fought well, as well" he then fell down dead.

The orcs just stood around him, then a horn was blown, they turned and walked right back where they came from.

Why is it because they lost so many forces? no it was not that because in the distance there were more orcs and they two were marching the same way they were not part of this orc army but a different one, it did not just end there, many other orc armies marched in the distance, they did not intend to invade earth.

What they wanted was to show us, to show us that this is their home and that we are the intruders.

I could not look anymore as the live feed never ended, why was that?

After a few hours passed, my brother's live cam never went off once, I changed the channel and saw many more live cams and they too were motionless, then I got to a channel where the live cam was still moving, this person was alive.

Why are none of them being turned off? Why are they showing our military dying?

It was all revealed as this last live cam showed the Gate from the other side, the military base on the other side was all destroyed besides the towers, the orcs kept the tower up so we can see what they are capable of.

The soldier with the helmet fell to his knees as he watched the base burn in a blaze, the soldier just sat there watching the scene unfold, gunshots rang out at the base but it was useless as the remaining soldiers ran to the other side of the Gate, the orcs never once stepped foot to the other side.

Our military was useless, they were not about to enter the gate when there were at least 100,000 orcs, just waiting for them to enter, it was a stand off as both sides of the gate prepared for the other force to enter.

An hour passed . . . then two, both sides began to set up camp as if they knew none of the sides would enter each other's world, the soldier just sat there still, a noise was heard behind the soldier, a chuckle.

The cam turned around and there was an ogre standing above him, how did the ogre get there without him noticing? That was the mystery, the ogre picked the soldier up and carried him all the way to the Gate.

What?

The ogre then set the man down next to the entrance of the Gate, not a single orc or wolf even tried to attack the soldier as he was frozen from shock.

"What are you doing, get your ass over here!" a load of voices came from the other side of the Gate, the soldier walked across the Gate. The medical teams helped the soldier into a medical Humvee and the live cam ended.

All that was left were the live cams of the dead including my brothers.

I turned the Tv off as I cried, my younger brother hugged me as he let out tears as well.

Why did he have to die, why is the world cruel. . . .

It has been 4 days since the massacre, since the live cams started.

The live cams are still playing, some of them have turned off due to losing battery life, all that was left now was my brother's live cam.

The United States president Mark Hue Apologized to the families who had lost their loved ones, he went live to apologize, people were furious, they were upset, they were scared.

It took 3 days for the unrest to end as the president said he would recover the bodies of the soldiers who died in the gate, he mobilized an even larger military force, there were 526 thousand soldiers who went into the gate, and only 435 thousand returned.

There were a lot of deaths that day, it was looked as a defeat, if it was not for the main battle groups, the main force would not have been able to fall back to earth in time to avoid the large armies of orcs.

It was seen throughout the world and other countries had the same issues with their Gates, most countries had just stuck with defending instead of attacking after they had the same results happen.

The president declared that he would be sending in the military force back into the gate, he was about to send soldiers back into the Gate in order to bring back the dead, he was sending them in order to defend the Gate, they were no longer on the attack we are now on the defense.

I was browsing the channels as I switched to my brother's live cam by mistake, and before I switched the channel, I saw a bright light appear on the screen and a man appeared on the ground.

I thought I was seeing things till the number of people watching jumped to the tens of thousands, soon there were tens of millions of people watching the live cam, I was confused and switched the channel but they were all my brother's live cam.

This had to be done by the government, why? it was because there was now a human male who just appeared out of a bright blue light, they wanted everyone to see this, all of the social media was showing this cam.

The man stood up and looked a around as if he was confused the man then spoke,

"What the actual hell?" was all he said

The man then puked, he walked around and then looked towards the cam, no he was looking at my brother.

The man then moved my brother's lifeless body as he removed the helmet, he then looked into the cam and spoke again.

"Hmm strange." he said as he looked down at my brother.

he paused for a while no doubt he was looking at my brother again.

"What happened here? There was a battle that's for sure he said as he walked away from my brother, he still held the helmet as he walked and he was inspecting the body filled battlefield.

He then walked back to my brother and spoke once more,

"you seem to be a good warrior." he said and placed the helmet down to face himself and my brothers body,

The Man began to chant like how the orcs did.

The man then said,

"Screw it, Yes! '' he yelled.

Dark mist began to spread in a large radius around the man, the bodies of the dead that were in the mist, including my brother's body, began to have their skin and other body parts repaired right before our eyes.

The man walked out of the range of the cam but you could hear him chant the same thing over and over again, you could also hear him saying yes after every chant.

After a few seconds the dead bodies sat up and looked around, they were alive again they were just as shocked as us, orcs, humans, ogres and even the wolves came back to life.

Shortly afterwards my brother gasped and shot up as he looked around aimlessly, My younger brother banged his door open as he came out and saw I was also watching the live cam.

I had tears drop as I saw my older brother stand up as he too watched the strange man bring people back to life, my brother asked a question, as two figures, an orc and a marine walked up behind him and replied to his question.

The way they spoke was slow, but for them it was as if they were talking normally, the orc and humans understood each other yet the orc still made no sense.

How can they understand each other?

Soon afterwards the man fell and the orc leader and the army commander went to the aid of the man, which was soon joined by a female medic, they spoke as they carried the man out of the live cam view.

After a couple of minutes, everyone who was brought back to life followed them besides my brother, he picked up his Helmet and smiled then said slowly,

"I . . . I'm . . . . Alive . . . . Again . . ." he said as he smiled.

My brother then smashed the live cam and the screen went black.

I then cried again but this time it was happiness not sadness or pain, my younger brother watched as he gave me a hug.

This is crazy how . . . No, that's not what is important.

The important thing is that there is a man in the Gate who just brought the dead back to life.

"Did you all see that?" I asked everyone who was sitting around the conference table.

"Yes president we all saw." all of the people said .

"send in the military force we need him dead!" I yelled .

"Right away president." they said as they ran out of the room

We can't have that monster running around, bringing the dead back what if he uses the dead against us, he can have such a large army and if he kills someone he can bring them under his control.

He needs to die! is all that I could think of.

He will die, no matter what it takes.

The whole world saw this unfold, Many people were confused, many were scared there was someone now raising the dead back to life, what's more he could speak to the creatures from the Gate.

The United States sent in the military force back into the gate in order to retrieve the bodies, but the main focus was to destroy the man who brought the dead back to life.
