Lights, Camera, Action?
Brightly shining stage lights shine down on me as I enter centre stage from behind red curtains. The stage is set up with seven podiums lined up facing out into the crowd. Everything is outside, the floor is made of fake grass, it's daytime, and I can't seem to find the spotlights.
I take my spot behind the podium in front of me, joining everyone else. Each person at a podium represents a team. Looking to my right I see a man with a Korean flag stitched into the skin of his shoulder.
For some reason I am kicked off stage and I exit down a set of stairs to my left. The stairs lead down to a channel similar to ones built into stadiums. As I leave the place I am joined by some members of my team, three others.
We go back to our home, two log cabins. We all enter the closest one, going through the front door two of my teammates split off to sit on the couch and watch TV while the other one goes through a door along the back wall.
I start to head back to my room but suddenly the roof crashes down. A spaceship smashes through the roof and part of the right wall. A door in the side of the ship opens and out steps the rest of my team, the other two members of my team that had not joined me before.
Stranded
I am stranded on a desert island with no trees, only grass and a beach. I swim out away from the island until the ground comes back up, the sand doesn't reach out of the water only making a small platform for me to stand on.
Looking back I had only swam twenty metres so I decided to swim back. Getting back to the island a friend of mine had captured a cow and trapped it in a rundown marketplace stall. She asks me what it’s name should be.

Showers
My family and I walk up to a small stall like building to pay for something, an exit fee or something similar. To the left is a doorless doorway with steps that lead down. I split off from the others to head down.
The stairs lead into a big tiled room, tiled separators jutt out from the wall on both sides at regular intervals. In each of the resultant alcoves each wall is lined with showers. I walk further in and see a girl peeking around the edge of the last wall.
She hears my steps and turns around to tell me I shouldn't look in. I go around the corner and walk almost halfway in before I see a dead body on the ground. The corpse belongs to the girl that told me not to look.
Mines
I bike through a crisscrossing network of tunnels in a mineshaft being chased by people in minecarts who can turn whatever they touch into earth.
AAA
I am watching a race on TV where you have to scream at a car to make it go faster so the racer with the most fans usually wins. One racer cheated by hiring opera singers to blend in with the crowds.
I Honestly Don't Know
Me and a group of friends begin in a room that houses a Rohrrezzb[sic]? and go through challenges to win against random other groups. We go down some stairs to begin a challenge to make a burger. I got nicknamed the raider. We then exit through a snarky portal to accomplish something.
We go down another set of stairs, these ones wooden and at the bottom is a fake door that leads nowhere. On the other side of the door is another challenge where we have to wind up a toy nutcracker.

Ditto
We play a game with the FOV zoomed in and we have to defend an open world with wax soldiers.
Race 2 Electric Boogaloo
Sprinting through blue coloured rings of light and avoiding red ones, I race others through a Venice like city. The ground is much higher than the water level, almost a sheer cliff between the buildings and water.
As I crossed a wooden bridge I accidentally hit a red ring. The red ring significantly slows me down and the sudden change in momentum trips me up and I fall off the edge. I hit the water with a loud crack.
Fuck
I can jump between dimensions. I teach my friends from a different dimension how to swear in English.

Nowhere Stars
For as long as anyone can remember, humans have been preyed upon by Harbingers, living nightmares which devour dreams and passions and souls, and defended by Keepers. These children alone hold the gift of magic, the wild and wondrous ability to impose emotions over reality and empower their frail bodies with the splendor of their souls. Under their protection, humanity was able to survive and thrive. While modern Keepers have come to enjoy a social position somewhere between celebrities and religious idols, very few accept the mantle simply to be a hero. The Messengers of the Goddess Claiasya, spirits charged with awakening the magic in suitable souls, promise that Keepers who consume and purify enough Harbingers will obtain the power to change themselves or the world in nearly any way they wish. It’s for this purpose that Liadain Shiel, a young girl born terminally ill, throws herself into life as a Keeper when her opportunity comes, hoping against hope to rewrite her fate and save her life while she still can. But magic wants its wielders to grow and change, not simply continue living, and the secrets swimming beneath the sea and behind the sky have lives and designs of their own. Nowhere Stars is an ongoing fantasy-horror web novel about traumacore magical girls, nightmares clothed in ribbons and lace, alienation from reality, and broken children twisting the world into whatever shape they must to make their dreams come true. This is a mirror of Nowhere Stars' home site, located here. Updates will be posted at the same time, currently once a week on Wednesdays. Support Nowhere Stars on Top Web Fiction here!

Fate's Fortune
The start of my latest work. Like most stories I start, I'm not entirely certain where this tale is going to take me yet, but I'll enjoy the ride along the way until I sort it out and see where I end up. Join me as I follow this tale wherever it takes me -- or not. The choice is entirely your own. :D

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
