“Look around.” Johnny says, gesturing to the multiple people wandering the park. “Do you see all those people? They're all rivers, and all rivers are predictable, but even if they're predictable, the way is undeniable and is always the correct path. Some of these people fight against their own flow, but as a Flow Goddess, you cannot. Follow the flow faithfully, no matter how chaotic the circumstances. If you're faithful, even in the darkest depths of hell, you will be like the river, like the ocean, like the cosmic flow of the universe, an unrelenting tide; you will conquer all. Mary Rose focuses and slowly raises her hand to deflect the strike before aiming a palm at Johnny’s kidney.

Johnny’s hand was deflected and he raises a knee slowly to block the palm strike.

Mary Rose smirks and throws her head forward in slow motion for a head-butt.

Johnny's eyes widen, and he throws a slow motion elbow to knock Mary Rose’s head away.

Mary Rose lowers herself and her head hits Johnny’s chest.

Johnny moves accordingly and takes a few steps back.

Mary Rose does a spin and throws her heel out in a spinning kick.

Johnny holds out two arms and blocks the kick, before throwing out a leg to trip Mary Rose.

Mary Rose jumps with her leg and her other leg, retracts before striking out once more at Johnny’s chest.

Johnny’s chest is hit and he jumps back to simulate the impact.

Johnny smiles. “When you’re living amongst the flow, the speed of the world is similar; focus is unnecessary because the flow is the focus and you are the flow. When everything is a river and moves like a river, everything is knowable, it’s understandable, but that’s another level. For now focus on walking, on knowing the limit of your reach, on how far your energy can take you.” He says, introducing Mary Rose to the subject.

Mary Rose raises an eyebrow. “Another level? How high can this thing go?” She asks, curious.

Johnny shakes his head; this was a weird thing to explain. “There is an order to the heavens, consent is greater than possession, love is greater than spite; the higher the order of your flow, the stronger you’ll be, and some would seek to strengthen their own flow, but the universe is chaotic, and the flow can break into the tiniest of flaws. So ignore strength, it’s a futile pursuit. If you follow the flow, everything can be obtained accordingly.” Johnny says, offering some comfort.

Mary Rose pouts. “But I want to get stronger!” She says, a little unwilling.

Johnny lets out a laugh. “Even that is part of the flow. If you have the motivation for it, seek it out. But the consequences of an incomplete flow or a failure in your technique could be part of it. But even then, that is part of flow, and as long as you continue to move forward, you’ll still move according to the dao.” He says, neither approving nor disapproving.

“Hmm…” Mary Rose says, unsure if she should follow through. “I’ll think about it.” She says.

Lucy watches this, sitting on the side and she couldn’t help but surprised at Johnny’s knowledge base. “What about witchcraft? Do you have any advice for that?” She asks, curious.

Johnny lets out a bitter smile. “Witchcraft is different; it seeks to make use of the flow for personal advantages.” He says, unsure how else to say it.

Lucy frowns. “Are you saying that witchcraft goes against nature?” She asks. She very much didn’t like this perspective.

Johnny shakes his head and lets out a sigh. “No, an understanding of nature is required for witchcraft, but it is also separate from it and usually selfish in nature. But even that is part of the dao. There’s a very human spirit about witchcraft, and I don’t think many people understand the beauty in that. Taking advantage of nature for personal advantage is like walking on a tightrope, and you can fall at any time, but for mankind, fighting against the heavens has always been righteous.” He says, trying to explain it.

Lucy furrows her brows as she processes the words. “So as a witch, what should I do? Should I not take advantage of nature?” She asks, curious. Although she was definitely unwilling, she still wanted to hear Johnny’s answer.

Johnny lets out a chuckle. “Heaven wants nothing more than to make love in hell. It’s willing to indulge much more despicable things than a little personal advantage. No, keep doing you, Lucy, it’s beautiful and you’re beautiful. In fact, I think you should stray further.” He says before letting out a laugh.

Lucy lets out a smile, satisfied.

Mary Rose frowns. “You guys banged, didn’t you?” She says, feeling an unusual energy.

Johnny lets out a few coughs. “Should we start touring the city? Actually, I’m a little hungry, let’s grab some lunch.” He says before walking away hurriedly.
