Ivan saw the tension in the room and chuckled.

He then looked at Night.

Ivan ”your friends really like violence don’t they, I havent done anything and they already want to jump me ”

Night didn’t answer, he was just as surprised as everyone else about the fact that Ivan could understand God tongue.

Seeing that this was going nowhere and even the God currently wasn’t speaking, Ivan spoke again.

Ivan ”ok can you all just calm down, I am not here to fight, wait…. Now that I think about it, I am, but we can talk a bit before that cant we, why do you guys jump the gun”

Before he could even finish speaking Night already went to Day and the rest.

Ivan didn’t stop him, he had no intention to hurt them after all.

Hades ”Who are you, how can you speak God tongue in a first place ”.

Suddenly a cold sweat ran down his forehead as if he had made a terrible realization.

Hades ”wait.. are you a god as well”.

Inferno continue to stare at Ivan.

The latter finally understood why the God wasn’t speaking, he probably thought along those lines as well.

Ivan however just shook his head in denial.

Ivan ”nah I am not, don’t worry I am not that strong”

Hades let out a breath of relieve, since he found out that Inferno wasn’t the only god he wondered if they had managed to run into one of his friends or if there were other gods here who just didn’t get discovered till now, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that since he met the god his world view grew a bit.

Hades “then how are you speaking the God language”

Inferno nodded at that question as he wanted to know as well, after all Day and Night were the first exceptions he had seen who could speak it, and now suddenly another dude was here doing almost the same thing, he didn’t know if the latter could speak it as well, but understanding it was already amazing.

Ivan however just grinned ”not telling, anyway it seems that we wont be able to have a nice chat, since you cant seem to get over the fact that I replied to that rude cat ”

Hearing it Inferno expression darkened, did this bug really just called him, a God, a rude cat, he didn’t like even the slightest disrespect, yet here some insect just called him rude cat, when he knew it was a disguise.

Inferno looked him straight in the eyes.

The cat normal white pupils turned into flames, his god presence spread in the cave and domineering speech came from ihis mouth [HAHAHAHAAHAH, do you wish to die, you insect].

Ivan just shrugged his shoulders ”you are fiery one, aren’t you”,

On the face of the cat a vane bulged [so I take it, you do].

The god presence focused on Ivan, the cat raised its paw, it was about to squash the cockroach.

Day ”Inferno calm down, you remember that you cant fight, right”

When Days words reached Inferno he didn’t reply.

Inferno heard Day but didn’t say anything, he knew that the boy was right, but for him, a being which is worshipped, a being which could erase the existence of everything in his reach, not being shown any respect was anger inducing.

He was ok with being a cat and not being respected since he had his existence hidden, but this guy knew that he was a god, and still was rude and disrespectful, but Inferno shook his head a bit and forced himself to calm down, cause he knew that Day was right, the presence in the cave retracted and once again focused only on Inferno himself.

After seeing the angry god Hades decided not to test his patience and spoke up.

Hades ”ok, since you don’t seem to have ill intentions towards us and Night is okey, we will go now ”

Ivan looked at Hades and once again shrugged his shoulders

Ivan ”well you can do that, but I am pretty sure that would just mean that you would have to come again another day ” he then pointed to a door behind him.

Ivan ”after all Night told me, that you are after the formation right there, aren’t you”

Hearing it Hades smiled bitterly, he actually guessed this far, but after hearing this guy understanding god speech, he hoped he was wrong, this single action from a completely ordinary looking guy, who seemingly didn’t seem to be so ordinary after all managed to intimidate him, and he wasn’t ashamed to admit it, he had had many fights and he had already learned not to be ashamed of being a bit afraid, as fear was something natural.

Ivan wasn’t the type to like waiting.

Suddenly the air around him changed completely.

All except Night seem to start staring at him seriously.

Inferno shouted[ FUCK, DAY TAKE NIGHT AND RUN, LEAVE THAT ONE TO HADES]

Saying so the cat jumped onto the shoulder of Day while the latter turned completely into a god-prince, took Night and shot towards the door.

Night shook his head in confusion ”WHAT, WHAT IS GOING ON, WHAT HAPPENED”

Day didn’t slow or even looked at him but still replied, after all he knew that his brother wouldn’t be able to tell otherwise.

Day”I don’t know how but this man was hiding his strength the whole time… but when he unleashed it I could tell, he was stronger than me, if we stayed we would have only been a burden to Hades ”

While speaking Day had strengthened his whole body to the max and ran through the road he knew, after a few minutes he reached the exit, but still decided to run a bit more just in case.

In the ground Hades and Ivan still looked at each other, none of them attacked.

Hades ”it is pretty nice of you to let them escape, and even wait till they are in a safe distance”

Ivan smiled ”well, I am not a monster, I don’t want kids to get killed just from getting caught in the fight”

Hades took a fighting stance, while Ivan summoned his weapon.

An elegant and beautiful looking purple scythe, with pure black blade appeared.

It looked like a weapon belonging to the reaper from mythology.

The weapons had very simple design, just like that of Hades, the colors were a bit unordinary for a weapon but what gave Hades the strongest impression was the feeling the scythe gave, if the weapon of Day gave a feeling of beautiful savagery that wanted to destroy all, then this one was like a gentle looking beast who wanted to devour all, like a black whole sucking the whole universe inside.

Hades immediately knew that this weapons was dangerous, whats more his instinct was screaming at him that he shouldn’t get hit no matter what, but he just smiled while looking it.

He was not afraid of a challenge.

The moment they got ready for a fight both disappeared from their spots and appeared in the middle of the cave clashing their weapons against each other.

The scythe and the two ended trident collided, a huge shockwave went through the surrounding, just from this single collision the cave started crumbling, proving that the decision of Day to flee was the correct one.

But before the shockwave could even resound fully a second one formed then a third and a fort, both weapons were hitting and both were blocking each other, nobody wanted to give in to the other, neither of them dodged, it was a foolish thing, but both fighters knew they could afford this foolishness.

Ivan ”not bad, to think you could contest not only with my speed, but with my strength as well”

Hades disappeared and appeared behind Ivan stabbing forward.

Hades ”I am the one who should be saying those words”

Ivan grinned, before the stab could land on him he disappeared and appeared behind Hades, slashing down with his scythe.

This attack surprised Hades, but Hades still managed to avoid it, even if by a breaths length.

Hades {this guy really seems on my level, at least in his weapons skill}.

Hades now knew that he wouldn’t be able to hide his strength like he did when he fought Day.

The speed of the fighters started to raise gradually, both of them were getting faster and faster, but that seemed to have no effect, nobody managed to land a hit on the other.

The Scythe and the trident continued to aim for the vital organs but were met only with the cold metal of the other weapon.

Both Hades and Ivan continued to disappear and appear behind each other like they were playing a child game, the only difference being that even the slightest slip up could cause the end of one of the players.

After a few more clashes thanks to the shockwave of the collision the sealing couldn’t hold anymore and started to collapse, the cave wasn’t strong enough to contain this fight, seeing that both of them disappeared and appeared outside the cave, just in time for the whole ceiling to fall down burring everything underneath.

Seeing how Ivan had disappeared and appeared before him Hades couldn’t help but comment.

Hades” I never thought that I would see another artifact with the same power as mine”

Ivan chuckled a little and waved his hand in denial.

Ivan ”nah, its not the same, its true that both artifacts contain the power of the god of dead, but yours cut through space and allows you to pass through the cut, while mine does something else, but the effect is almost the same”

Hades noded, indicating agreement with everything said.

That was the power of his artifact, cutting space, it allowed instantaneous movements, it might seem funny but very few people had figured it out till now, but well he wasn’t exactly keeping it a secret as well.

Hades smiled and changed his fighting stance.

Hades ”ok time to get serious now, don’t you think”

Suddenly the air around his weapon dropped, he disappeared from his place and appeared in front of Ivan, aiming at his head.

Ivan quickly blocked it and backed away, he looked down and saw frost starting to appear around the blade of his weapon.

But Hades didn’t wait for the other party, and appeared before him again swinging towards the opponent waste, but the latter still blocked it.

Ivan tried to back once again but this time didn’t manage to as Hades didn’t want to give him time to recover and think, he followed suit and continued to attack, this time his aim wasn’t the vital organs as before, but the collision of the weapons, he continue to attack while the latter continued to block.

Ivan speed started to slow don’t, Hades slowed down his attack by a bit so the latter wouldn’t notice what was happening to himself, and then suddenly Hades put all his strength and speed in a single swing aiming for his opponents head, wanting to catch him off guard.

A feeling of success befell Hades, but suddenly a kick which landed on him sent him crashing in the grown, like a rock falling from the sky.

Ivan ”you really are something”

Ivan smiled while looking at his frozen hands and his frozen weapon, frost covered them fully, but soon shook his head.

Ivan ”but that is still far from enough”

Ivan clenched his fist tighter and swung the scythe, the frost broke down completely like it was drops of water on a knife and froze the ground it fell on.

Hades was already back on his feet, but stayed on his spot, being on guard.

Ivan looked at him.

Ivan ”I have to say I havent fought an ice user till now, but judging from that attack, it would probably be very difficult for most close range fighters to deal with them”

Hades didn’t reply as he was fully on guard, he was completely serious already.

The strength in the kick earlier exceeded his expectations, he could content with that strength ifhe had went fully 100 procent , but from the looks of it Ivan doesn’t seem to have done so, but what made Hades most wary was something else, he felt something during that kick, he didn’t know how to describe it but, it was like an invisible clot had fallen on Ivan and his scythe covering him completely.

Hades knew better than to test the reason for his feeling in a close fight.

He moved his hand and made a finger gun, a small blue orb appeared in front of his index finger.

Hades ’frost bullet”

Hades made a shooting motion with his hand and the orb shot forward.

Everything in its path froze the speed was also impressive, but it showed no signs of slowing down or even having used any of the attack power yet, but Ivan could doge this attack and Hades knew it, but Hades didn’t have an attack that was guaranteed to land anyway, so he just went with the one taking the shortest preparation time.

Ivan stood there smiling, he just walked forward, it was obvious that he had no intention of avoiding it, he didnt take even a full step when the attack landed on him, but the moment it was about to hit him and freeze him solid…. it disappeared like it had collapsed into thin air.

Hades made a dark expression, this attack was not his strongest, but it was enough to freeze a mountain solid, and he knew since he had tried it, and it had just disappeared like nothing, whats more he couldn’t figure out what had happened at all.

Ivan made a mischievous smile.

Ivan ”well, you said that you were going to get serious, so I thought about doing it as well”

Hades looked at Ivan, who currently looked like a fortress to him and had only one thought.
