《I Still am a Spy》This is a spiritual séance, not a swinger's party

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Enzo was against it, but Vini didn't have many smart alternatives. The two of them heard about a supposed medium named Tobias, a Lake resident who had the ability to communicate with the dead. Vini called him on the intercom, and ten minutes later he suddenly appeared, wearing dark clothes and a brown book in his hands.
- Well, Mr. Valverde. - he said. - It seems that your house has an interesting energy.
- Oh, that was me. I kinda let out a fart two minutes ago. - said Enzo, starting to laugh.
- Very funny, Mr. Carvalho. You shouldn't play with the spirits like that.
- I'm sorry?
- Ignore that stupid Enzo. - Vini said. - Just do what you have to do. Ah... - Vini remembered at the last minute. - Will it be noisy?
- Mr. Valverde, this is a spiritual séance, not a swinger's party.
Enzo approached Vini and asked:
- Are you sure you don't want to rethink about the ghost that wants to get you?
- Shut up, you moron! - Vini complained.
Tobias started walking around the apartment without saying a word. He checked the kitchen and then the balcony, as if he wanted to find the lost TV remote control. Then he paused. Right next to the bathroom door. He raised his arm and said a few words.
- Do you know what he is saying? - Vini whispered to Enzo.
- If only I could see words from the distance, of course!
Tobias calmly returned to the living room. He opened his eyes and just said:
- Let's buggy.
The medium asked Vini to sit on the floor in front of Enzo. Then he gave the last piece of information:
- You will calmly repeat what I say.

- All right. - Vini confirmed.
- Repeat: spirit, spirit, what are you doing here in my home?
Vini repeated the phrase, as did Enzo. But as he finished, he heard a popping noise, and then the lights went out.
- Holy fuck! - Enzo shouted. - Vini, the friggin' lights went out a second time.
- It wasn't the lights, you ass!
Slowly, the lampshades and electric appliances came back on. But the atmosphere changed. It seemed heavy, gloomy.
- What the fuck had happened? - Vini asked.
But Vini spoke with emptiness, because neither Tobias nor Enzo were there. Something strange had happened.
- Enzo?
No answer. Then a small, circular yellow light came out of Vini's room. It floated down the hallway until it came close to his face. It was very strange, but something stopped him from moving. In fact, he felt hypnotized by that small, static, flying piece of light. Finally, it began to move. Vini knew that following his intuition at that moment was certainly trouble. But what did he have to lose? Therefore, he followed the light into his room. When he reached the edge of the bed, the light vanished, giving form to the terrifying creature that stalked him. But Vini did not show fear for the first time, which you could say is an improvement.
- What are you?
The face of this spirit began to brighten into a conventional human figure. And it was a beautiful one. Clear eyes, brown hair, completely different from the horrifying figure that was frightening Vini. Then the light returned, only slightly different and less bright, fitting perfectly into the woman's belly. The reality was only one. Vini had absolutely no idea what was happening and no way to explain what he was seeing.
- Are you Charlie's mother?

She didn't answer. But she didn't have to, because two children magically emerged in her arms. Vini smiled and tried to get closer, but as he did, the strange feeling returned, even stronger. He felt the floor shaking and his organs being torn out of his body.
- Holy shit! - Vini shouted, out of breath.
Beside him, Enzo was staring, confused and somewhat frightened.
- Are you okay, buddy? - he asked.
- Are you fucking kidding me? - Vini also looked confused. - Where the bloody hell were you?
- I never left here!
- Cut the bullshit!
- I'm telling you, dumbass! Ask Tobias. - Enzo looked to the side, but there was no one around. - Oh. Weird.
- Oh, that's the only weird part? What the hell just happened?
- I'll be the first to ask. You were standing there shouting! Were you having sex with your eyes closed?
- Ha, ha, funny! I saw a lady.
- Tempting.
- A real woman! I think that's Charlie's mother.
- So, she's the one who's haunting you and making you pee the bed?
- I suppose except the peeing part. Maybe she was trying to plead for me to save her children. Child. - Vini corrected himself.
- Can you remember her face if we go to one of those... - Enzo forgot the name. - Places that find people?
- Surely.
- So, what are we waiting for?

Witness the dawn of an era. 🧙🧙🧙 This is a story I'd written a few years back, and I figured it's a waste to just let it sit around. Most of it is already written, but I'm going through the chapters and editing the shit out of them. This story is NOT a Lit-RPG, so no blue screens or anything of the sort. It is just fast-paced fiction with slight cultivation elements. Updates are bi-daily (so every 2 days), and chapters are 1500-3000 words. As always, feedback is more than welcome. Why are you still reading the synopsis? You have already decided. Go ahead, give this story a shot. It's worth it.
