´Damn! I'm so screwed.´ With those kind of thoughts a young lad around 17 years old bolts through the dirty alleyways of Green River City, a place where a big river flows straight through the middle, splitting the city in two and giving it its name.
The teen is wearing a tattered robe and half torn rags underneath, his figure is thin and one can see the bones through his skin.
Serve malnourishment and disease have taken a strong hold of him and things seem to only get worse.
Just as he prepared to turn and dive into another alleyway a cold hard object crashes into his back, it wasn't big, maybe the size of a fist, but it was more than enough to let the thin and weak teen stumble and fall to the ground.
Shortly after, a number of footsteps surround the fallen teen who is desperately trying to get back on his feet.
"Look who we have here, if it isn't good old lil´ Willson. "A deep voice says mockingly.
The teen, Willson, stops his struggle to stand up and instead slowly turns his head to loo at the owner of the deep voice.
A big and burly man in a clean white shirt and black pants stands not to fare away, flanked by a scrawny looking dude whose long and creepy finger glide up and down on a dagger in his other hand.
"Well, I surely didn't expected to see you again, especially after you left the group and sold use out to the others. What? Did they have enough of you and you ended up back here in the slums form where you originate? "Willson fearlessly mocks the burly guy whose face twists in anger at his comment.
"YOU SHITTY RATT!! Don't talk to me like that, Im no longer like you or the other dirty bastards form this shit stain you call a group!" The man shouts in rage as he curses at Willson who is still sitting on the ground having given up on getting up on his feet.

The reaction of the burly man seems to endlessly amuse Willson as a big smile spreads over his almost fleshless face.
"Whoa there, Language. If you continue speaking like that everybody will know from which part of the sewers you crawled out." Willson says in a carefree manner.
The lack of fear or even anxiety slowly starts to creep out the burly man.
He clearly expected a more fearful reaction from his old acquaintance, no this strangely carefree attitude.
It was at this moment when the scrawny guy with the dagger spoke up.
"Calm down Melffon, he is only bluffing I can see the hidden tension under his skin."
The comment of the scrawny guy only causes Willson´s grin to grow wider.
"Look at that Melffy, your friend knows me better than you even if we only meet just now. You really lost your edge after you left us didn't you?" The clear mockery once again enrages the burly guy who goes by the name of Melffon.
"ENOUGH! Im finished with you, just stay still and let me kill you quietly." With that Melffon walks over to Willson.
Once close enough he reaches to his back and pulls out a well hidden kniffe

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
