《Suffocate My love》Chapter 25

The wolves looked back to Syin who whisked his hand signalling them to move ahead.
They received his instructions but they failed to move , they were skeptical.
'They feel it too', Syin thought to himself as he noticed his pack standing stationery despite his order.
They were right to feel unsafe. They have been walking all this way without the slightest effort for stealth yet they haven't been attacked. Normally when the wolves came hunting or just passed by, they adopt the greatest level of ignito ,but even before they entered the forest they would have long been stopped by a furious army of imperial guards mostly lead by the merciless Reed. That would mean they have long been spotted in spite of them trying really hard to be low profile. but now here they are ,literally on the boarder of the palace and not a scratch on them. It's foolish to think that it is all because of luck.
The wolves felt like they are being watched and are thus walking into a trap. But they are soldiers, they should dare challenge their fears however it's just that with what is going on, anything is possible really and every breath one takes they would wish it was a footstep away from here
One of the wolves desired to be the role model and he walked into the boader. The other wolves looked at one another before they followed en suite.
Syin was impressed by their courage but that is their obligation to show courage even when it seems naive
However the minute they crossed the boarder, fear got the best of them and thus they stopped to await for either Syin or Joln to catch up to them.
Syin crossed his arms behind his back then walked lazily towards the pack.He must admit that he was a little disappointed that they are acting like children, wanting to be told what to do even when it is really obvious. If he now told them to keep moving they would take four steps and then cease motion again. They can be truly extreme especially when they are scared because their cowardice gets the most of them.Anyway he walked forward but didn't stop when he reached them .He just keep walking, and he looked half-dead because when the wind blew on his combat clothes , it made him look like the fearless predator he is.As he walked through the group that had parted for him, he looked like he deserved to be bowed to.The shank high boats were very well designed and hug to his feet like a perfect-fit glove. Not too tight or too loose. His black pants were tucked neatly inside his shoes. This painted the illusion that were he to walk on snow, not a single foot-print would be made. Respective to his face that always exhuded tension and malice, under the dark night he looked quite soft and a little less scary. What was more fascinating was his pitch black bone straight hair that run all the way to the middle of his ribcage..Today he had his hair in a complete pony tail that held the dark fibres in place with a silver claw clip..The pony tail was not a simple concept , one half magnificently folded underneath the other and they united at the clip.. only the hair at the union of his non-exist side burns to his head in both side sides hung lose..His long black mane and his side locs were the things that danced in the air as he moved

A few seconds later after walking through his admiring crowd, he stopped and then he lifted his left hand into the air and pointed at three Cardinal points and simultaneously he proceeded to outstrech his fingers..
At that instant , the wolves forgot their fear and immediately they scattered as per the movements of Syin s hand.Maybe they needed affirmation in this form, it's always been the way they have been given instructions so they feel that this way Syin is trully their commander .They adopted ultra fast speed and divided into the dark streets .Syin raised his eyes to look at the pack that has scattered and some wolves that were already ontop of the roofs. Thier steps were very smooth and quiet so they most definitely will not wake up the sleeping people.. They backflipped and summersaulted their way through the night. They jumped from rooftop to the next. The most fun they seemed to have with their aerobics skills was on top the Wan Zi Ding.By the outward appearance it was probably the house of a noble or someone favoured by wealth. They jumped off the star symbol rooftops with minimal effort , at some points they would jump so high that they seemed to reach the moon.
Syin lowered his eyes from his pack and wrinkled his eyebrows then turned his body to face behind him. His mouth was already open and his right hand outstretched like he had a mouthful to spew.As he turned , the wind blew once more making him close his eyes momentarily but after he pirouetted, he opened his eyes and they landed on a mignon figure who resembled a white butterfly just after a light and delicate spray of spring rain
"Why are you just standing there and not helping them?", he questioned him.He was demandful but not forceful .Afterall he doesn't want to scare the little star.
Ryle didn't respond to Syin but instead he smiled and he stared right at Syin whilst turning his head childishly from left to right. He was wearing his imperial garments but he still looked supernaturally adorable..The leather belts on his forearms made him look strong but the curly curtain bangs hanging on his face made him a look like a tulip bud.And as he smiled under the moonlight all his amicable features were displayed to tease the admiring audience.
He seemed like a young teenager and the way he smiled was quiet adorable. It was like he was trying to fuel Syin s anger by sulking through his smile but that was not working as per plan because all he became was like a pocket sized ornament..As he shifted his head playfully his pony tail danced in the air.over sixty percent of his hair was tamed by making a large braid that started from the right side of his head all to the left then curved by his ear and headed into the blue cloth that composed the pony tail. The remaining potion was just pulled back into the tail..He looked like the grandson of an emperor , so beautiful and destined to bring goodwill to land that he reigns on.

Ryle then did something unnatural to Syin.He raised his hand at him and he waved at him whilst still smiling!!!
That's when he felt his heart sink. The wind blew a little more and made his hair misbehave in the wind..His Banbi that had its lower end split almost into like tassels gave him a petal-like-effect which was quite magnificent to see in the wind and the light of the moon.
His hand that was crossed behind his back simultaneously slid from his back and hang by his side. He continued to look at him but the thing that made him most chilled is the way he smiled almost like he is happy to say hello..or to say goodbye...
And he became more saddened...
"Syin , we have a problem", a telepathetic connection transmitted to Syin , making Syin turn his head slightly to the side..
After that transmission, Syin shifted his whole body to the source of the transmission, but just as he was about to take a step, he hesitated to move and he turned his head back and all that his eyes fell on was an empty space. The entity that had breathed life into the space was no longer here and it felt like a tombstone.
The wind blew once more and accompanied Syin s solitude . He blinked twice and he cleched his fist. He knows what this means but he doesn't want it to let it sink..
There is only one reason that could explain why that just happened.
His mind is painting his heart..
He turned away and he jumped ahead and onto the rooftops.
He ran over the rooftops and he leaped and he leaped but evey step felt like he was steeping on burning coal.He wanted to turn around, he wanted to stop running, he wanted to freeze time and face behind him and what he wanted most is to see that little raindrop smiling and bouncing behind him..
Syin wanted to feel Ryle behind him but all he felt was aloneness. All his soul detected was a fathomless lack that can only be filled by a single star in this universe. His body and mind is used to having Ryle behind him all the time and this is the first time that they had ever been apart and honestly he hates it more than anything. The worst part is that he knows two things..Either Ryle feels the same way wherever he is which makes Syin feel guilty or that Ryle is indifferent to this, which is unlikely. But if he does then that will hurt even more .
He clenched his jaw tighter and he swallowed back the tears that had been welling up..He backflipped from the Xuan Shan Ding roof and landed on the ground but almost lost his step as he was not focusing on what he was doing because his mind is miles away .As his feet touched the solid earth , he felt a large cramp on his right palm making the muscles tense up, he wanted to check it but he didn't bother because he felt that fate is just going to give him a reason to feel even worse..
The moon emerged from behind the clouds and it seemed to be high up in the sky and that was a sign that the sun is about to rise soon.
He walked ahead a little and he stopped when he was just ten feet from the large palace door.
He was at the castle gate but the gate had no one outside. He could not sense a single human aura despite the castle always being flooded with guards. The large steel doors were closed and looked like giant barriers especially when they were joined to the cemented walls.
He could tell that something was definitely off.Why and on what circumstance would the kingdom not be guarded?
He then placed all the stamina in his legs and he jumped over the eight foot entry and he landed on the interior on other side.
He elevated his left hand laterally from the side and outstretched his fingers..

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

Author here (: This is my first time posting any of my works online, and I hope that you enjoy being welcomed into my world, as much as I enjoy creating it for you! I welcome any and all criticism, so long as it is actually something that can benefit my writing (not just random hating and nothing substantial). This story is edited by Nesryn and ArtemisArrow, my dear friends! The cover of this book is not my property, and if you are the actual owner of the image and would like me to take it down please PM me (: I am posting this to see if it generates any interest. If it does, then I will be planning on making more regular posts for chapters. I am intending this to be one book of a series, titled The Lost Royal. I intend to post, at this point, one chapter a week unless I get onto a roll! If this starts to accrue enough interest where I can start focusing solely on writing then more chapters will be released per week. Thanks for your interest, and I hope you enjoy!
